“Most of the reviews on here from people who don't pay attention when they check out. They're very clear about the $14.95 program after you check out and what you need to do to keep it or cancel it. It's very simple, read people! You can claim $10 back on your purchase by agreeing to the 7 day trial. If you don't want to keep it (which I didn't) you simply log in to your account and click CANCEL. Oh my God, that's was sooooo hard. It's cancels literally immediately without taking to anyone and I still get my $10 rebate. Can't sit there and get all mad and buty hurt over a charge when it's you that aren't paying attention. Be smarter people.”

“Lakeside messed up an order, which I was initially unhappy about. But when I called them to fix the problem, they went above and beyond my expectations. I realize as a catalog shopper that orders do sometimes get messed up, especially around the holidays, but the fact that a company goes the extra mile to fix their mistake, and make sure I'm happy really means something to me, and is what builds customer loyalty for me. “I’m obsessed with lakeside collection. I’ve ordered plenty of Christmas decor from them and absolutely love all of it. Their prices are very fair and items are nice quality. Yes some things seem a little pricey but I’m shocked at how low prices most items are.”

“I have always gotten my orders promptly and love their low prices. In fact in the past if I got "the wrong thing", they would tell me to keep what I got and send me the thing I really ordered. That being said, what on earth is wrong with their website?? It freezes up on every device I use so it's not me. Makes it way too hard to shop and browse! Has been doing this for months. Lakeside, it is very important to fix your site ASAP or you will lose lots of business. The holidays are coming and people need to be able to order online easily!”

“After reading all negative reviews I want to give my two cents. I like expensive stuff and I buy really expensive stuff and yes Lake side items are cheap. I ordered around 8 items from lakeside because they have unique and nice outdoor items hard to find even in Amazon. Like giant tic tac toe, huge collapsible food cover, 12" wide super narrow buffet table etc. For furr loving people they doormats like custom made for you! So I got to love this store.”

“The staff are very friendly, we was taken to our table . The food was very nice. I had Haddock chips & mushy peas. Also had a treat to a lime & strawberry cheese cake dessert. Mmmmm so delicous.”

“They helped me order a second bed spread. I loved the Safari bed spread so much since it was so large and fit my king bed so nicely. The item was sold out but This company found one and emailed me. I highly recommend them.”

“They have a great selection of a wide variety of things. Although I'd guess at least a third of their products fall under the "Sports Team" and "Religious" categories, neither of which I have any interest in, there is still enough classy and fun products to make going through their catalog and browsing their site to be enjoyable. Their prices are surprising low for decent quality items (I've been happy with everything from small furniture to curtains). You absolutely must wait for free or at least $5 shipping though, otherwise it's not worth it.”

“I've never had an issue with my orders, but I didn't care for the 7 day trial for their "rewards" program and $14.95/mo after the trial. I was able to call and get it canceled without issue. For me the store itself gets 4 stars because I haven't had an issue with them, but I knocked a star (almost thought about 2 stars) for the shady rewards program tactic. I'll definitely be paying more attention to this in the future.”

“You are 80 miles from me and takes 2 weeks to item's once they are shipped. My last order was ship to Mokena that is 30 minutes from me you then shipped it to, Wisconsin. And it was there for 2 days before you shipped it out again and I still have not got it I love your stuff but it takes to long to receive it..I can order from collections and I get my stuff in 1 week.”

“I have placed orders in the past, no complaints. BUt..try ordering a new catalog, 4 times I have called and was told they would make sure was one was sent in 1- 2 weeks (ha ha) Really! LAST CHANCE”
