“Ordered fresh evergreen centerpiece for 95 year old aunt. Aunt said it looked like someone threw this thing together and was awful, plus it needed spritzing daily ( really, no container for water? Spritzing on your wooden dining table????)
Customer service said only way to get replacement/other item was to return centerpiece.
Under these circumstances (95 year old who has neuropathy and trouble getting around) she must now repack item, mail back before they will credit/replace.
I get it for clothes, shoes, etc. but an evergreen that will die?????? I deal with tv shopping channels a lot and they NEVER make you return food/living items.

“Bought Lands' End water shoes at sears few years back. Glue on product deteriorated, & sole on one split into 3 pieces. Called Lands' End & was encouraged to return product as it's "guaranteed to life". "If you're not satisfied with any item, return it at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price." Cost me about $10 to return item, & Lands' End rep called to tell me they will credit me only for $12. She encouraged me to send an additional $28 to get replacement. SCAM!!!”
“Want to return an ugly dress and was considering an exchange but their methods are impossible. In this day of free shipping and easy returns, they are horrible.
If I wanted an exchange it would take 3-4 weeks to get the new item and I would still have to pay 6.95 for shipping back original dress.

“What had been a "Men's Super-Tee" for years is now apparently a dismal and cheap shadow of its former self. Despite no changes to the "Super-Tee" online product description (or the price), what I paid for and received was a "Very Mediocre Tee". Disappointing to see LE quality going downhill.”
