Placed my order on 28 April with an delivery time of 5-7 days. My order was confirmed straight away and payment taken, but have not heard a word since. I emailed on 17 May to chase the order but had no response. I tried to telephone today but other that a voice stating they were experiencing a high number of calls, I did not get through, the phone rang and rang. If they product is not is stock, then they should say so on the web-site.

I still haven't received my cold frame, despite ordering on 27th April. I hope it will come on Friday. Not impressed with this company at all. unlikely to order again.

Web site was easy to use and navigate around, received phone call the next day advising me there was a 2 to 3 week delay I thought at this point how good everything had been so far, now it all went down hill from here onwards, I email a number of times after waiting 3 weeks to get an update on when my order would be with me, the emails I got back where it should be with you this week but no guarantee I will chase this up for you and get back to you they didn't, so almost 5 weeks now I phone them to see where my order is to be told it is in stock and more is due this week I will send your order out tomorrow for delivery next day, I just wounder how long I would have waited for them to send me my order

Still not received item, was told 7-10 days delivery, that was almost 5 weeks ago. Very little and unhelpful communication, no offer of improving outcome.

Leaders in my opinion definitely cannot be beaten on price. Customer Services were friendly and very helpful but unfortunately both of my orders were very delayed and not within the time shown on ordering the items, which was quite disapointing and time consuming having to call up. I would however order from them again as they have the best competitive prices.

We placed the order and after nearly a week of hearing nothing, emailed to ask when it would be despatched and when we might expect to receive it. We received a prompt and helpful reply the next day explaining the item was out of stock and was due in sometime the following week. No mention of being out of stock on their website at the time of ordering, and they took our money immediately. We subsequently received an email saying it would be delivered the next working day. It was not a normal level of service as we had no choice about the date, no information about how to arrange delivery if we were out, and not even a vague idea of the time it would arrive. Between 9 and 6 but could be outside those hours. The product was as we ordered and the delivery personnel friendly. But overall, payment taken the same day as placing the order, but it took them three weeks to deliver the goods (partly due to Easter bank holidays but still..).

I ordered an in stock item on 16 march and payment was made. I chased this order up over two weeks later as I had not heard or received anything and was told it was out of stock. I am still awaiting the item that I'm told is now in stock again. Communication communication communication

Thank you for your feedback Mr Freeman We do apologise if this has caused any inconvenience. We sell thousands of products from hundreds of different suppliers. Some items are delivered next working day whereas others can take up to 3 weeks to be delivered. Kind regards Shaun

I was sent the wrong item, and when i contacted you to tell you, i was told that i needed to provide photographic evidence as the supplier didn't believe me. Your staff were very polite, but i didn't appreciate the fact that my word was being questioned. I am still waiting for the correct item to be sent and the wrong item to be collected.

Good afternoon James Thank you for your feedback. It wasn't that they didn't believe you had received the wrong item, it was simply that they had the correct item down as being delivered and and signed for. I do apologise if this wasn't communicated correctly. The replacement is currently on order and should be with us by the end of the week. I ordered some flooring on 13th Feb, it is now 12 march, I was told it would take 3 weeks and it was coming from Germany, I have phoned a couple of times, with a couple of Promise's but no show of the flooring, it would easier for me to get it myself, its from Germany, not Timbuktu.

Order placed for 2 Duck Egg Blue lampshades on 11Feb15 but 2 Sage Green shades were received on 24Feb15. This error was notified on the same day and on 26Feb15 I was informed by Email that the order was expected mid following week. To date I have heard nothing further. When contacted everyone at Leader Stores has been helpful but I still await the correct shades.

Slow response to email sent to cancel an order, then did not receive refund. We then phoned to keep the items after waiting too long for a refund as we thought we would adjust door frames to suit ( wrong size doors). It has now been over three weeks and i have needed to email for an update on the order as it is not yet received. It would have been beneficial to get an update on the status of the order.

Thank you for your feedback Deborah. Can I firstly apologise for the delay in getting back to your email. We are a relatively small team here at Leader Stores, but we always response to emails as quick as we possibly can. I have since checked your order, and I can see that your doors did have to be re-ordered after you had emailed in to cancel. The lead time on your order is 7-21 working days as they are made to order. We have since chased this with the supplier, who have confirmed that they should be due to be delivered into us today. You should be receiving a telephone call as soon as they arrive, to book in a delivery date of your choice. I would also like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused. I ordered a light fitting on the 21st December 2014 and although they took my payment I heard nothing more.I allowed for Christmas holidays then emailed them on the 5th January 2015. I received a prompt reply saying they had contacted the supplier and they should be receiving it the next day. Another week passed and I had not received the light or heard from leader stores. I emailed them again only to be told it is out of stock until February! Consequently I have asked for a refund. The price of the light fitting was the lowest I could find for that particular light, but the lack of communication was extremely poor.

Thank you for your feedback Dawn. Unfortunately we are only able to pass on the information we are given by the supplier. It appears the dates promised to us from the supplier have not been fulfilled on this occasion. We are constantly trying to improve the accuracy of of the lead times of our products, so we do appreciate your feedback. Can I also take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Made enquiries via web chat re a pendant light that was required urgently. Was assured that regardless of it not being in stock, it would be available within a week. Chased after receiving nothing only to be told that the unit would not be coming in to stock for a further two months. A refund was issued quickly which is why I have give two stars.

There was a colossal mix up with the delivery days resulting in me wasting annual leave days then the flooring was delivered damaged. I put in a written complaint 3 weeks ago and have not heard a word back I would not recommend leader stores to anyone

Thank you for your feedback Linda, I sincerely apologise for part of your order being delivered damage, I hope the replacement packs arrived in good condition. We would always rectify any problems as quick as we possibly can. I will also check up on your email and find out why this hasn't been replied to, I will make sure that if not already replied to, that this is done at the earliest opportunity.

Was not happy with the service, I placed an order which was showing that was in stock. Then for a month i waited with no communication from the website. When I called customer service to find out where my item was and to find out when I will be receiving it, I was then told that the item had been discontinued. And was in fact discontinued whilst it was still being shows as available on the website. I was then told that I would get a full refund and again then had to chase up the refund for over a week. I am not happy with the service at all the only plus point is that the customer service agent that I spoke to on the phone sounded like he genuinely wanted to help. If it was not for the personality of the guy from customer service I would have given this website a 'very poor' review. Rather than a poor review.

Took my money then two weeks later said the item was discontinued, although still being advertised on their site. Contacted manufacturer who said it was still in production. Told Leader stores, but they just offered refund. Got the item from another supplier. Guessing that Leader no longer wanted to supply at advertised price!

Good Morning Mr Whitlock, I can only apologise for this issue, our distributor had recently stopped supplying the Astracast products, which is why they are no longer on our website. I ordered 3 lights., 2 lights were out of stock, I found out by chasing where my order was upto . When I checked on line it stated that my order had been despatched. I was told that 2 lights would be in stock on the 22nd September. I asked for the other light to be delivered . I was told that the light would be delivered on the Saturday as a gesture of good will because I was not informed about the other lights. I stayed in Saturday morning waiting for the delivery , it didn't arrive. I chased it up on Monday morning and I was told that it would arrive on the Tuesday. This was very disappointing. Let's hope that the other 2 lights will be dispatched as promised on the 22nd Thanks Sandra Hill

The items which were in stock were dispatched within their recommended lead time, but due to a shortage in stock with the supplier we were forced to arrange a later dispatch than the original lead time.
