Ordered a tap and a towel rail from this company. I then had to pay £26 import fees, this was not expected. When the items arrived the tap was wrong and so was the towel rail. THey must have blindly just thrown things in the box. They now want me to return the items and leave me out of pocket of £26 as they won't redund that. This cost is purely down to the complete incompetance of the staff including the customer care staff which have taken ages to sort thjis out. My first and last purchases from this complete shambles of a company. If you are thinking of using them I strongly suggest that you do not!

Dont ever buy from here! I paid for express delivery last week but it still hasnt come. On the website they wrote 3-4 working days. Its been 8 working days already and the customer service is awful! Its a scam dont waste your money and then duty charge of 16 pounds which they keep texting me about but it hasnt even arrived!

Ordered a cycling shirt in small size. Arrived a month late and was extra extra small. Promised a refund if I returned it to Poland at my own expense. This I did and hey, was told it never arrived so no refund. This company has disgraceful returns policy (unlike Amazon) and I will certainly never buy from them again.

Is payed extra for faster delivery but the package came the same time as the normal delivery.

WARNING:. I ordered some dresses from Light in the Box UK. With delivery and insurance it came to a total of £293.92. I thought it included duty and VAT. The clothes had actually came from China via Germany and today I received a bill from DHL for £101.08 consisting of £31.42 Duty, £58.66 VAT and £11.00 Disbursement. Make sure you take all this into consideration before ordering from them.

Really hard to get in touch with them !Almost impossible! Conversations with them have an expiring date! Ticket is closed! You give up at the end ! You have to log into your account to see any new notifications but if you are late ....ticket is closed! Good luck to anyone who wants to waste their time and money!

Do not buy anything from this website. I have ordered and payed for the phone 60 days ago and still I did not receive it. More over I cannot track it. The phone is lost and they refuse to return any money back to me. Do not ever order anything from LightintheBox

They will cheat you by any cause. I had ordered a item 10 months ago but the Item never came into my hand. They will never refuse you to refund but they will never refund you. The most horrible Website I've ever seen. Keep yourself safe before you robbed by them. Order 1801082227340851

AVOID LIGHT IN THE BOX AT ALL COSTS!!! My order never arrived and after numerous ignored attempts to get a refund I've had to submit a Buyer Protection ticket through PayPal. I am now warning as many as I can to avoid purchasing anything through LightInTheBox through consumer review portals. I warned them I would do this in DM's to their customer support manager Alexandru, who has been absolutely useless.

AVOID PLEASE READ AVOID PLEASE READ, fake reviews, fraudulent company, poor service. I only ordered a £30 ip camera from here due to it being sold out everywhere. The price they was selling it for was way below the RRP which should have been my first alarm bell. Intact I will just list everything wrong with them... * FAKE, PAID FOR REVIEWS * DONT SEND YOU THE PRODUCT * PAID FOR 5-8 EXPEDITED SHIPPING * 3 WEEKS LATER THEY SAY IT COULD BE 40 DAYS * CHARGE YOU CUSTOM TAX WITHOUT TELLING YOU * SEND YOU GENERIC AUTO RESPONSE TO QUERIES * SEND YOU $#!+ LOADS OF SPAM EMAILS * ENDED UP GETTING MY FIRST VIRUS USING THEM * LIE TO YOU AND SAY THEY HAVE SENT PRODUCT * EXPECT YOU TO GET IN TOUCH WITH POST OFFICE * GAVE ME FAKE UNTRACEABLE TRACKING NUMBER * GAVE ME FAKE CONTACT NUMBER NOW I MANAGED TO GET A FULL REFUND I PUT A FRAUDULENT COMPANY COMPLAINT TO PAYPAL AND THEY TRIED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH LIGHTINTHEBOX WITH NO JOY SO THEY ISSUED ME A FULL REFUND SO I RECOMMEND EVERYONE THAT HAS PAID VIA PAYPAL DO THE SAME. AS SOON AS THEY RECIEVED THE COMPLAINT FROM MYSELF VOS PAYPAL THEY EMAILED ME ASKING TO WITHDRAW IT AND WITH BRIBERY TACTICS OFFERING ME A SPECIAL GIFT THEY SAID. IT HAS BEEN 4 WEEKS SINCE THEY SUPPOSEDLY SHIPPED MY PRODUCT WHICH SHOULD BE WELL ON IT WAY TO ME BY NOW BUT THEY HAVE MADE NO EFFORT TO ASK ME TO RETURN SHIP MY PACKAGE OR RETRACT MY REFUND REQUEST ONCE I RECEIVE MY ITEM BECAUSE IT HAS NEVER BEEN SENT IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Purchased 3 dresses for £ 282.52 on 1st july 2018 - so far have recieved 2 customs fines asking to pay an extra £42.42 to have 2 dresses delivered. One dress still outstanding - has not arrived. Despite paying an Shipping Charges & Insurance for GBP £ 26.74. I am still being fined customs duty and fees. No response from customer services yet.

If I could give lower than a 1 star I would. This company is a complete rip off. I ordered a bag from them and it should have taken 12 days to arrive. I got it a month later and got whacked with an £11.41 customs charge by the post office. The company refuse to refund it, basically telling me that it's my problem that the UK charge this. Nothing to do with them they are in China. Do not buy form this company.

Bought some clothes in a size large. What I got was size small. To exchange the clothes they told me to return them and they would ship new ones and pay the shipping fee's. So I did. And the shipping fee's ended up being very expensive because they are in china and I am on the other side of the world. So they ended up not paying them. And the new clothes do not even fit that well either!

I buy goods to the value of £31 and… I buy goods to the value of £31 and then shipping costs I pay for expidited delivery and one month latter the post office wants another £13.31 this is a joke as there is no mention of import duty. BIG CON STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I placed an order for a birthday and the order page said EU depot 3-5 days delivery. 4 weeks later no sign of nothing. I’ve sent 20 plus tickets and now all I get it is please be patient. When I tell them that it’s not arrived I’m now told there’s nothing we can do... so I’ve paid £90 for two items that have not arrived at all, there had no tracking but yet that’s my fault. I have used my credit card so will go back to them for advice and charge back. Bit anyone even thinking about using this company use PAY Pal. You have more chance of getting your money back quicker

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, I placed an order for these shoes on the 4th June 18, I paid for postage and it said the item will be with me within 6-11 business days which was perfect as I needed them for a day at Ascot on the 22nd June. The item was shipped on the 6th June FROM CHINA so should have been with me by the 21st June latest. The item is tracked and I could see it landed at Gatwick Airport on the 14th June which was great because theres a week for them to get to me in London from Gatwick which is a 2 hour drive, what could possibly go wrong?!! So the 21st June came and no delivery, I emailed their customer service and said why has my package been at Gatwick airport for a week and why has it not been delivered, their response was packages can get delayed due to weather and unexpected circumstances, we have had a heat wave so cant be the weather and what else could possibly delay the package for a week to do a 2 hour drive from Gatwick to my delivery address? I asked for a refund as I had no use for the item at all now as it was for an event on the 22nd June, they said they can offer me 50% off postage charge on my next order I make with them, jokers or what, I will certainly not be ordering off them again so this is no use to me either. They also said my package should be with me in the next 3-7 business days, thats over 4 weeks from when I ordered. Not mention why has it been at Gatwick airport since the 14th June and not moved anyway and why is it going to take a further 7 business days to be delivered, they had no answer to this and fobbed me off, ignored the fact I have no use for the item anymore either. So everything has now become evident, on the 25th June I get a card from Royal Mail to say Unfortunately we cant deliver your item because there is a fee to pay basically this company has shipped the item from China, I have paid them postage but they have not paid enough postage for it to be delivered, the post office are now asking for a further £12.05 for me to get the item!! Clearly I am not paying this, I have no use for the item now as it was so delayed due to them not paying enough postage and I have asked for a full refund and they can deal with the post office to get their item back, lets see what they come back with now. Also I had to buy another pair of shoes for my day at Ascot so out of pocket at the moment unless they refund me. Light in The Box came back to me again from my complaint of these extra hidden charges and they are now saying the fee is for duty tax, this is not the case as the Post Office have confirmed it was due to not enough postage being paid, therefore, again trying to not take responsibility and fobbing me off. Even if it was a duty fee there is nowhere in the point of sale on their website to say there will be additional fees to pay for duty cost in this case an extra 57% of the item value, therefore, this is miss leading and false advertising. I will be going to the ASA and trading standards about this false advertising so other people do not get misled and have extra fees to pay that they are not expecting. Either they will have to change their website at the point of sale to say people can expect to pay an additional 60-100% in duty fees and make this very obvious at the point of sale or their adverts will be taken down from Google and Google Shopping with the ASA's enforcement. I URGE YOU NOT TO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, you will not get your items in time, in my case you will not get the items at all and they will not take any responsibility in there misleading advertising and you will be hot with heavy duty fees and at a time when you probably don't need the item anymore as it takes over a month for them to be delivered.
