Lightenthebox is the worst. They r criminals. They r trying to rip me off for 228 dollars. Cancel order minutes after placing it. They ignore my cancellation request, and sent me shipment information. They should all be behind bars.

The order took 3 weeks longer than the stated time to arrive, I'm still waiting for them to arrive so cannot comment on quality or value for money. I was finally given a £30 credit but only if I spend another £60 with them!!!, I was expecting a refund on shipping, not a discount voucher. very disappointing service. overpriced goods from China

FRAUD! FRAUD!! FRAUD!!! AVOID LIKE A PLAQUE. I WAS ASKED bY COURIER cOMPANYTO PAY ADDITIONAL £65 FOR DELIVERY CHARGE AFTER PAYING £180 FOR PARCEL AND EVERYTHING INCLUDED.

This company does not even honour its own refund policy! Good never recieved refund requested at least 20 times. Ripped off don’t use these thieves

I ordered a blazer along with some other items for the same size to check how this company works and if satisfied to continue shopping from them. Unfortunately the size guide in the website was wrong and I asked to replace it and then started all the fuss. They were asking continuously for proof with pictures about the size and I had to send twice the email with pictures to prove what I was saying. I have returned the item 1 month ago ( I had to pay for the cost of the delivery back although the mistake was not mine but was on lightinthebox who had wrong size guide) and still I have not received any refund and they are telling me that they still have not received the package that I had sent it tracked and I know that it has been delivered. Terrible customer service. If you are lucky enough to find your size then fine otherwise It does not worth the trouble. It has been 2 months now since I made the order, the company still keeps my money that I could use to order sth else. All these exist in messages

I have waited a month for my order. It was not clear to me that the item was coming from China. While I was out today the Post Office could not deliver the item and left a card saying I have to pay customs duty charge of £11.09. The bag that I ordered was only around £15 so postage and extra charges cost more than the bag! I would never have ordered it if the supplier had been honest and made me aware. So now I have to go online and pay the Post Office so they can deliver in a couple of days. I will write another review if the goods are poor!

Product is good but delivery is shocking - initial quote of 6-12 days, shipped next day with no tracking. Weeks passed and when chased, customer services said it could be up to 38 days before they consider looking in to it and has even been as much as 60 days before. Finally turned up about 4 weeks after ordering, very poor service and customer care. Also, so dissatisfied with the service that I have tried several times to unsubscribe from all mails and I'm still getting several emails per day!!

I have written a review recently and although I have now received 10 of my refunds , I have now reveived a card from the Royal Mail and parcel force saying I have to pay customs duty to receive the items. I never did receive any confirmation of an order being placed and no where did yhey say you had to pay customs to receive your item. An absolute disgrace. I look forward to receiving my money back into my account.

Ordered some black and white dance shoes for £24.29 on September 9th. 2018. They added £8.39 'shipping and insurance. Shoes arrived at the end of September, and I paid £12.64 'Customs/postal charges' to receive the parcel containing....two left shoes. I informed them immediately, and went into their 'ticket' system of complaint resolution. Lots of communication; they did everything except return my money. Paypal were excellent. I got the £32.68 back through their complaints resolution process, but am over £27 out of pocket as they insisted I send the shoes back to Hong Kong by tracked delivery. Incidentally, why do most of the five-star reviews look as if they've been translated from another language? They are not QUITE right, idiomatically.

I ordered and paid for goods. When they arrived they looked no better than a dishcloth and stank of Body Odour I returned the goods,at my expense. I have now been informed I will not be getting my money back I can have goods in liou of my money! Seriously ! why on earth would I want any more of these gross standard goods. I am entitled to my cash back. I have done nothing wrong yet I am being treated like this.

I strongly advise anyone who is considering ordering anything from this company,not to. The level of service is disgusting,the goods I ordered and paid for were dreadful. These were returned I was refused a refund. Through no fault of my own I am now out of pocket. They have the returned item!and my money I have been left with nothing it is dreadful

thought i was getting a bargain when i bought a leather jacket uk size xl turns out it came from asia i wouldnt fit my cat, had to pay an extra £12 71 postage and travel 5 miles to pick it up. they wont send me a returns address so i,m stuck with it. i will get some satisfaction by plastering it all over social media,oh and insult to injury they send me 5/6 messages a day informing me of so called bargains. they are a joke company and i will lose them customers #nothappy.....rant over

Shocking that this company is allowed to trade, as no method of shipping fees when ordering, but I've just had to pay £12.64 to pick a pair of trousers up from the Post Office. The sizing is supposed to be adult, but more like child sizes as my 13 year old can only just fit into the Medium Men's walking trousers, and I cant afford to send them back. Absolutely disgusted, DO NOT USE this site.

This is the worst company in the world! This company is based in Hong Kong, I am from Hong Kong but I have to say this is the worst company globally! A dishonest seller! I bought a light which is near 300 pounds, including the delivery fee of 50 pounds. And, it will charge me 100 pounds extra just to receive it!! The lamp should have arrived a week ago; however, even now I am still waiting for it! The order cannot even be tracked and their customer service never gets back to you once you paid the money! Be careful about Thai scam seller and try your best to avoid it! They rob your money and never give you a full refund! Last but not least, today I found the same lamp on AliExpress which costs only half of the price, and free delivery! No any extra cost!

I did not receive the item as although it says uk the item came from abroad. I had to pay an additional £21 charges to import the item of which they are not refunding.

I presumed I was ordering from UK but It was shipped from China. The package took one whole month to arrive, apparently processing time of 6-8 business days plus shipping time of 6-8 days, then had a customs fee of £13.76 added on before I could collect it! Customer service told me if I cancelled the order midway there would be a handling charge I would have to pay before being reimbursed. When I asked for a full refund because the delay had been so great they said I had to leave it to be returned to them, which would take about 18 days. By now the wedding I needed it for had come and gone. Very disappointing and frustrating. I had frequent fears this was a scam as my card had had dodgy activity on it around the time of my order so had to send for a new card. Which puts me in a position where a refund is impossible unless I give the company my new card details which I definitely won’t. Perhaps that’s a scam in itself. Where did the UK version of the company come into effect? In tracking information my package seemed to sit at Langley UK for nearly a week - nobody in customer service could hurry it up for me, so if this is UK support I’m not impressed. SO - Unless you want a lengthy wait and a big extra customs fee and tax added on (roughly 70% extra on original purchase price) plus all the hassle of trying for a refund which may not ever arrive DO NOT BUY FROM THIIS COMPANY!

Worst company ever! Waited over three weeks past when they said that it would be delivered and then decided to cancel. Now they are telling me that it may take up to 45 days for my refund. No contact phone number either.

Do NOT USE: ordered LED lights (£25.98) that took over a month to arrive in UK and then did not have the full address so were not delivered and returned by post office. Contacted light in box who then asked for a £4.95 reshipping charge (even though their fault). Heard nothing more for 2 weeks and when I contacted them they said that were out of stock and would refund £24.98 ! complaint now on going Total waste of time, BEWARE
