Please do not book any holidays with loveholiday I booked a family holiday from London to Greece. When I arrived at Greece I was told that my daughter was booked on a separate Shuttle and not with me and my son. I asked why was that and they said it was done by loveholiday. Bare in mind we all travelled on the same date only that my daughter was coming back before me.I already paid for the shuttle transfer and to avoid my daughter travelling on her own I had to book a taxi and paid an 25 euros. Then love holiday is telling me they cannot refund my shuttle money. LOVE HOLIDAY ARE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN. There customer service is scrap. I would tell anyone please don't book holidays with them as you may end up been stranded in the night and would need ro spend extra money because of them.

Absolutely shocking service from Love Holidays. They missold a package holiday, I was verbally abused by the hotel manager and they wanted photo and video evidence of it. I am never booking through these pirates ever again. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OPERATOR. This is twice now that I have had issues with this holiday operator. Disgusting.

This one is long but every detail is needed!!! A party of 10 family members had booked through 3 separate bookings. We were told we were affected by the insolvency and as time ticked on we heard nothing. Then one of the parties were told they were being moved hotel, the other two weren’t. After speaking to someone on the phone who was adamant there was nothing that could be done and if the other 2 parties wanted to join they would have to re book and potentially pay extra. In the end a lady over email kindly relocated everyone to the new hotel free of charge- We thought our worries had gone! Time to relax before the holiday began. On arrival at this new hotel we were told there was no reservation for us and then they announced there was also no space!!! You can imagine 10 people, 10 nights, beginning of August, all inclusive, 5 star. The sheer panic and upset fled through us. We were travelling with young children and with them crying through, the thought of having to go home was unbearable. For what felt like hours of phonecalls and live chats to love holidays they told one party that they had found a new hotel. I say hotel it was a vineyard on a farm, no pool, and bed a breakfast, 3 star. Absolute joke! I was quick to tell them this was unacceptable. In the mean time I am discussing the options of compensation as were the other 2 parties on webchat. They started off by offering 150% of the original hotel cost or the new hotel they found. Well we definitely was not going with the new hotel! So I made sure all three parties were told the amounts and then made them up it to 200%. One party was £5,900 for 5 people, one was £3,900 for 3 people and the other party of two was told £3,100. Which actually wasn’t a hard bullet to bite but still if we accepted this we then had to go home or find alternative accommodation. After hours of searching because what we wanted was so hard to find. We found a lovely hotel, it was only 4 star and half board but at this point we were so desperate. We all accepted the compensation costs and paid out for the new hotel. £10,000 later we paid out for the new hotel but knowing we was getting the compensation and a little bit more each for our troubles seemed ok at the time. We arrived at the hotel which is lovely but it’s no 5 star all inclusive, at this point we cannot complain we’re on holiday. So with emails back and fourth regarding the compensation and them asking for bank details, they also wanted proof of the new hotel booking before paying out. So we sent screenshots… one party got paid their amount that was quoted whilst the other two were waiting for it to go in their bank after being told 48 hours. We asked them to put an urgent request for this as we needed the spare money now we wasn’t all inclusive. After a day the other two had now received emails from Love Holidays saying that the amount quoted had gone down as they were taking it from the new booking booked!!! The party that received theirs of £3,900 was part refund from the total we had paid for the new hotel! That is NOT what they said. They quoted us the compensation before we even booked the new hotel because so they should give us it. They emailed one party back saying it was ‘up to 200%’ which was a lie. They said ‘we will offer you 200%’ so I sent screenshots of their emails and live chat conversations which they then replied it was the new booking they were refunding. I have then sent more screenshots explaining that everyone was given the quotes before the new hotel was booked so it is nothing to do with the new hotel it is the original one they are compensating for! The booking that was told £5,900 was told a new price of £3,600. The booking that was told £3,100 was now told £1,900. We spent 2 days of our holiday communicating back and fourth, sending all screenshots. Love Holidays ended up saying that this was their colleagues mistake of the compensation amounts and that they can only refund the local price of the new hotel. 10 of us who were expecting this money to cover the original hotel cost and more to help out now we were not all inclusive were left with nothing. Just the money to cover the new hotel. The £3,900 and £1,900 payment had been sent almost straight away. The other £3,600 gave their bank details the first day we arrived was told 48 hours later. Then a week later was told 14 working days! DISGUSTING!! Love Holidays sent an email and decided to close the case and not respond, absolutely disgusting customer service. All because they did NOT rebook us into the hotel after confirming they had. Our first family holiday completely ruined and so so stressful, full of worry and panic. No extra compensation for the troubles they have made us encounter. I will never use this company again, I have been so loyal and been using them for years and this service and empathy is unacceptable.

Never ever using love holidays again! First & last time that’s for sure. We arrived in Cyprus 12am 10/08/24 for a very important wedding. However when we arrived at Nissi beach resort we were told there was no booking under my name, after going back and forth with the hotel manager sending all of our confirmation of our bookings we were told we were not booked onto this hotel and there was no rooms available for us. He then checked with the hotel next door Nissi Blu Hotel and they confirm we are booked onto their system. (Which makes me think this happens all of the time as he knew to check with them) This is not the hotel we were sold! Our whole wedding party are in Nissi beach resort which we booked directly through love holidays! We have been missold a hotel which we 100% did not book or get confirmation for. This is absolutely not acceptable at all. We booked a specific hotel and I expect to be staying there, not turning up at midnight after a long day of travelling to be told they have no idea who we are and we are not on their system at all. I have travelled all over the world with no issues and then I use love holidays once and it is the biggest mess I have encountered!

We have had an absolute nightmare with Love Holidays regarding refunds. Our airline cancelled our flights due to strikes so we requested a cash refund from the airline This refund is sent to love holidays who then sends the refund to us. Our flight was cancelled on the 22nd of June, it is now the 7th of August and we have still not received our refund and we have been calling for weeks getting absolutely no where. They have been so unhelpful and if you want to get a refund from them I hope you have time to wait without that money.

They mis-sold a holiday and have taken no responsibility for it. Unbelievably poor customer service throughout - starting with payments (where they inexplicably made me change credit card after the first successful instalment) and continuing after the holiday (where they simply did not care that they mis-sold a four bed holiday to a five person family).

Stay away if you can, there are so many other agencies you can try. We used Love Holidays in the past and never had an issue, but this time it seems that there is no humanity left in this world. We booked our holiday in February to ensure everything is ok. A month before our holiday our Hotel was cancelled, we did understand the issue that was with live holiday and the terms and conditions but love holidays had no compassion for our case, my family booked rooms in the same hotel through other agencies and never had an issue we were the only ones cancelled as we trusted Love Holidays. We explained that we cannot accept another location as we have our family traveling from other countries and we are all booked in there for a wedding and we want to be together with our family. We gave them so many ideas for how to help us having a room in the hotel we needed, but they refused to assist us when it came to money. So of you don't want to ruin your entire holiday stay away.

Booked 4 star hotel in tenerife. Got there nothing like what advertised on their site tired, shabby, no air con, rude staff. Contacted on live chat asked for contact no or they contact me blanked. The rep was no help at all and rude. We ended up having to leave and book another hotel. Love holidays refusing to give any help or refund. Do not book with worst company to deal with when something goes wrong.

We have previously booked several holidays without issue but that is where it all goes wrong. The minute you have an issue with a part of your holiday, our was a cancelled flight several hours after it should’ve taken off they do not want to know. Despite several calls emails and online chats they fob you off. We were told by British airways that we were entitled to refunds but as the holiday was booked and paid for through loveholidays they have to request the refund. Loveholidays have refused point blank to accept this despite their claims on their website. Would never use again !!

Myself and 2 girlfriends went on what we thought was an 8 day, all inclusive 5 star holiday to turkey as part of a loveholidays package that cost around 2000 euro in total. Turns out the hotel had actually zero stars (loveholidays lied on their website), was filthy, unsafe and actually dangerous as the male staff followed us around After barricading ourselves in our dirty rooms, we ended up paying for our own flights home the next day and spending the night in the airport rather than stay in the hotel. This after spending hours on the phone to loveholidays and getting nowhere. All 3 of us were sick in the airport after eating only 2 meals from the hotel food. LoveHolidays were no help, offered a 50 euro refund.... Just dont book with love holidays and very much do not ever stay in the Otium Senses X Life Hotel, Dalaman

Stay away from this company. I booked a holiday package to Lanzarote, costing 3.4K, paid in full. 2.5 weeks before the trip I received a message that they could not book this and asked me to pay an extra 1.3K. The most frustrating thing is that on their site they keep advertising the package with the original "lower" price! Of course if I decide to go ahead and pay the difference, I would do this from another provider. I should have read these reviews before I had paid them. Stay away...

They only have 1 star because 0 isnt an option! They decided to call my partner 36hrs before we were due to get on a flight to say the whole holiday was cancelled due to one of their partners going bankrupt. Fair enough, until they said the partner went bankrupt in JUNE, 2 months before our holiday, and they only decided to tell us less than 2 days before we were due to leave…absolute scumbags, avoid them like the plague!

Transfers were awful and love holidays would not help. After we booked we were sent terms and conditions, but by that point we had already paid. We waited an hour for the transfer in to turn up, we were left 10 mins walk away with no directions, the driver just laughed and told us to walk. In 35 degree heat with suitcases! On the return we had to get to the drop off point, again shifting suitcases in the heat, the transfer was 40 mins late, the driver got lost, and we still were over an hour too early to check in. When I tried contacting love holidays for help, I went round in circles with a chat bot, then when I did get an actual person they said get a taxi. How I was supposed to get a taxi in a foreign city, with no taxi rank nearby, and without help from hotel reception as I had already walked 10 mins away from my hotel to get to the meeting point. Return coach didn’t have air conditioning and was sweltering When I complained love holidays just referred me to their terms which state they won’t accept responsibility for any third party performance - even when it’s the third party they have sub contracted to!
