hotel was a drug den, totally not for children, full of stag and hen dos, shouting from balconies, slamming doors, all night, drunk and high people, and police always there

Everything! Tried charging me for flight changes and extra days when we paid for 7 days and they gave us 5 days with the flight times they changed about 2/3 weeks before my holiday

Everything! The rooms were dirty 1st one had screws on the floor which I stood on. Had to pay to upgrade even though the room wasn't fit for purpose. The upgraded room hadn't even been cleaned from previous people there were false nails, hair, dirty sheets stinking bathroom and toilet, rubbish and full ashtray. Floors were stinking. Food was generally the same everyday and when asked if they served gluten free food were told if you dont like it here book another hotel.

Room was not overlooking marina Hotel wanted 280euro to supply same room I had in writing Transfer driver took us to the wrong hotel and drove off. Injured my leg after chasing transfer driver 70m Transfer to airport was freezing cold minibus

You accepted a booking for a hotel which was not open. I rejected the alternative offered but had to pay for Ryanair flight .

Poor service, holiday to this hotel still being offered at half price from what we paid ! Poor food , freezing cold food , no kettle in the room but can hire terrible view , loveholidays don't care, we were robbed ! Being on ground floor !

BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING AND UNREASONABLE COMPENSATION I booked a full-inclusive holiday to Tunisia with them, which cost nearly £1700. I was surprised and embarrassed to find that the holiday wasn't fully all-inclusive as advertised. There was no alcohol included. When I spoke to one of their agents, they insisted that no drinks were included. They then backtracked and admitted they advertised the holiday wrong. And offered us £39 as compensation. That wouldn't cover the week I had left. They then offered £89 again, which was not fair or reasonable. Again, that wouldn't cover the additional cost of our drinks for the week. I requested they cover the extra cost of the drinks or add them to my package, but they refused. The most frustrating aspect of this situation is that they are aware you cannot do anything and you are at their mercy while on holiday. They advertised and charged me for a package deal that they refused to deliver or compensate for. I have used this company multiple times over the years and will not be using them again.

Bad hotel bad staff food was horrible manager rude was assaulted 1st night by some drunks and nothing was done about it the people was allowed to stay there after doin what they did and didnt feel safe

I booked a premium villa through loveholidays, but the accommodation provided was substandard due to a persistent and unpleasant odour that made the room nearly uninhabitable. Despite the hotel admitting to the failure in writing, loveholidays has refused to provide any meaningful cash compensation for the four days our holiday was impacted.Instead, they offered a 'goodwill' voucher that actually requires me to spend a large amount of money with them again to even use it. It’s an insulting response to a clear breach of contract. They have completely failed to take responsibility as the package provider. I will be taking this to ABTA and my credit card provider. Be very careful booking with this company if you expect any help when things go wrong.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! The holiday was fine, but the after trip customer service is atrocious. We paid for an upgrade, the hotel had no record of it, so we ended up in the standard room we originally booked. It was fine. But Love Holidays said they would sort it out as a matter of urgency. We never heard from them again. Then when I came home I submitted a complaint to be told it would take 28 days to deal with it. Though a case was already open. Then after the 28 days I get an email to say they will contact the hotel and this was going to take ANOTHER 28 days. Absolute joke. Do not use this company. Awful.

dont book with them!! stayed in ramada plaza hotel in turkey antalya and it was a nightmare. some guys call me in room and they know my name and everything. they say we are loveholidays staff. they take us to tour and sold us gold. after we check its all fake gold!! absolute rubbish. loveholidays say we dont have staff there. so how they get my name and room number?? this is big data leak and dangerous for family. they sell our info to local scammers in antalya and now my money is gone. they dont care about customer privacy at all. i try to call but no help. never use this platform again. stay safe and avoid!

i had a nightmare of a holiday, booked for three nights and we had to leave after one night. the hotel we booked through these guys didn’t even use their own pictures for their hotel, it didn’t match whatsoever. the “seasonal “ facilities (even though the hotel was seasonal as it was just opening when we got there) were not available, the pool was being cleaned and the restaurant apparently had no chef. we were waiting for four hours as no check in time was stated to us. when we did get in there the floors hadn’t been cleaned and there was cockroaches so i left most of my own clothes there in fear of infestation, so i lost out on hundreds of pound of my belongings due to hygeine concerns, and there were major invasions of privacy so we didn’t feel safe. therefore we left the next day. at first, love holidays did not offer anything. after telling them i would escalate, they offered back £30. this didn’t even cover half of one of our flights back home, that we obviously had to pay for ourselves due to 1. a lack of organisation between the travel agent and hotel and 2. feeling totally vulnerable. would never ever book through these guys again. baring in mind, this hotel on their website was supposed to be three star. i wouldn’t even rate it one.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Love Holidays has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. We booked a trip for a group of five to Amsterdam, but the hotel we were given was completely unacceptable. The first room we were assigned was shocking—when we opened the door, there were pigeons inside. This immediately made the room feel unhygienic and unsafe. This is absolutely not something you expect when checking into a hotel. When we reported this to reception, the response was even more concerning. The receptionist was unprofessional and casually told us that this is a “regular occurrence.” Hearing that only made us more uncomfortable about being moved to another room, as it raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the entire hotel. We were then moved to a second room, which was no better. It was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly, and there were multiple dead flies scattered around. To make matters worse, the key card for our 2nd room didn’t even work, meaning we couldn’t get inside without further hassle. After already dealing with the first room, this was incredibly frustrating and poorly managed. At this point, it was clear that the cleanliness standards and level of service were far below what anyone should reasonably expect. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience. We raised these issues with Love Holidays while still at the hotel and urgently requested to be moved elsewhere. We were told we would receive a response within an hour. However, we heard nothing back. Given how late it had become, we were left with no choice but to find last-minute accommodation ourselves to avoid staying in those conditions. This ended up costing us an additional £1,000, which significantly impacted our trip. To make matters worse, Love Holidays only contacted us on the last day of our trip, asking for photo evidence so they could “open a case” and investigate. After returning home, we then had to chase them again weeks later just to receive a response. This level of delay and lack of urgency only added to the frustration. Now we have heard back the refund they are offering is very unfair not even covering the cost of 1 adult staying in the original accommodation after paying £1295. Overall, the entire experience—from the hotel conditions to the lack of timely support—has been unacceptable. This situation caused unnecessary stress, additional costs, and a significant disruption to what should have been an enjoyable trip.

Abandoned us at Stansted Airport after last minute flight cancellation, refused to provide alternative flights and still refusing to even refund after more of two weeks of me trying to contact them in every possible way only to be ignored.
