I booked a family holiday to new york in may 2024 to go week before christmas and in october I started to ask if I could book my flight seats however after been given the run around over 5 days and ringing the flight company, found out there was no flight tickets and within 2 further days I was told that the holiday was cancelled and did I want a refund? What a let down fo me and my family. I will not ever use this company again. Please don't do it !!!!!! I am waiting for a full refund, don't have it yet !

Where to start. Holiday booked for 4 nights to leave on the 20 of Nov to Turkey. Going with family 2 separate bookings, same flight and holiday, travelling together. Find out 5 Nov via the hotels instagram page that the hotel has now closed for the season. We contacted LH separately to be advised they were not aware of the hotel closing and they would contact their supplier to confirm this was the case and to wait. We are now 10Nov and with my booking they are still awaiting confirmation via the suppier that the hotel is closed. The other family member on their booking have now received an email from LH relocation team that due to the hotel closing they have offered a different hotel and given them 2 days to decide. In the meantime I have once again contacted them to be told that the supplier has not confirmed that the hotel is closed. The advice was to wait and if they don’t get confirmation from the supplier that the hotel is closed we need to turn up to the hotel that was booked. Utter madness that we had to find out via an instagram hotel post that or hotel is closed. We are now in limbo, daughter has 2 days to accept are decline her relocation hotel. We don’t know what hotel we will be relocated to once they can confirm from I take it a different supplier that the hotel is closed. Bloody 💩 show.

Please please please avoid Love holidays. Book with last minute.com or another provider I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience with Loveholidays has been. My flight was booked for the 2nd of November, but just days before, on the 29th of October, I received an email from them stating that my hotel was closed and that I would be moved to a different hotel. To make matters worse, this new hotel was 40 minutes away from the original one, meaning I would no longer be staying with my friends, who had booked the same holiday and were not informed of any changes. I immediately requested a cancellation and a full refund, as the whole point of my holiday was to be with my friends. Loveholidays told me they couldn't refund the flights, only the hotel. I agreed to that, asking for a quick refund on the hotel so I could make my own accommodation arrangements. Days went by with no response, and by the time my flight was approaching, I still had no confirmation or clarity. On the day of my flight, I called Loveholidays several times, and each time I was given different, contradictory answers. One advisor promised a full refund, but it never came. When I followed up, they denied any promise had been made. Their customer service is a nightmare—slow, unhelpful, and full of lies. I was left feeling completely abandoned, with no place to stay in a foreign country, and as a result, I suffered a significant mental health breakdown. The stress and frustration from dealing with Loveholidays ultimately landed me in A&E. This whole experience has ruined what was supposed to be a joyful trip. Not only have I lost money, but the emotional toll has been devastating. I would strongly advise against booking with Loveholidays. Their lack of communication, dishonesty, and disregard for customer well-being has left me feeling utterly betrayed.

Do not use love holidays for your next travel plans. I upgraded my accommodation therefore obviously paid extra which was for a balcony and when I arrived ALL the rooms have balconies. They are not refunding any extra money I have paid. A COMPLETE SCAM AND THEY ARE THIEVES!!!

Unfortunately we also as many of you feel cheated after booking holidays with Love Holidays. Pictures and information is misleading. As we hadn't travelled abroad for years I just thought if we book through a company we'll be looked after. Only after buying the holiday we found out it is 250km away from the airport. When we tried to add a shuffle bus through their app there wasn't one available. Taxi would have cost us €700 and public transport 5 to 6 hours. So we ended up renting a car which additionally was another trap of hidden costs. The stress and disappointment definitely spoiled our holidays. (Hotel was in Rota, Cadiz, Spain and we arrived in Malaga airport) We tried to contact Love Holiday but there was only machine response.

Had fully paid for the hotel over a month in advance. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that LoveHolidays hadn’t paid the hotel and that the hotel had been trying to get the money from them all weekend. When I contacted LoveHolidays they told me to “wait for some time” and an hour later of being sat at the hotel this wasn’t sorted. If it hadn’t been for the hotel clerk who had to angrily phone the company we may have never of had this sorted. I was told by LoveHolidays that I would get a full explanation of the issue, as well as compensation for the inconvenience and stress, yet once the issue was resolved their emails simply said “this issue is now resolved so we won’t be communicating with you any further.” The customer service is dismissive at best, and outright rude at worst. I would avoid this company at all costs as they do not care about their customers.

What they advertise on their website I'd not what you get. Be very careful when booking with this company

APPALLING BEHAVIOUR A week before celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary in Barbados, mum sadly passed away. Obviously this meant we would have to defer our celebration. We contacted Love Holidays who asked us to commit to another date. We said now isn’t the time but ‘any time next year’ would be okay. They explained we would have to or lose all our money. So we picked a date in January but explained we wouldn’t be going then. This cost £25, no problem so far. Three days later they came back to say that date wasn’t available, again we said any date would be fine. They insisted we gave them three more dates. On the day of mums funeral they once again came back saying all those dates were not available. I explained today was mums funeral again they explained that they understood but we would lose the full amount of our booking if we didn’t give 3 more dates. We even said given their booking issues we would go to the Paphos as well as Barbados as an alternative, three days later whilst grieving they once again returned to say those dates were not available in either destination. Doubting this we rang the Mango Bay Beach Resort hotel in Barbados directly and were told,’yes’ definitely the rooms we booked on the dates we requested were available. We called Love Holidays who disagreed with our findings. By now the idea of celebration has completely disappeared. We rang to get through to ‘customer complaints department’ but it seems Love Holidays don’t have one! You guessed it, we were asked once again for three more dates. Three days later we received another call ‘yes we have a room at the Mango Bay Beach hotel on one of the dates. Great we’ll book it. However as the conversation developed yes we had a room but not the specification we had booked for our Anniversary it was much less by a road. It was also a little more expensive. When we crunched the numbers it was 40% more expensive or an extra £1,700!! We once again complained and eventually they said our issue had been escalated (not sure who to?). Two weeks passed with no feed back. I called them back again and the gentleman told me he had asked for this issue to be given more focus. That was seven days ago…NOTHING. All we want is a room of the same spec as originally requested any date next year (and is available according to the hotel) or a different destination, again we have given them all the details and dates for an alternative destination, for roughly the original budget we gave them. Or if this is not possible we understand, please return our monies whichever suits Love Holidays best. Their behaviour and lack of empathy at such an emotional time for ourselves has been appalling and incredibly upsetting… and it is still continuing. They are happy to take your money but not happy to help. DONT, DONT, trust this company. They are not a Travel Agent in the true sense of the word but an intermediary. I’ll let you know if this gets resolved, but in the meantime we will be taking our issue to other social channels to warn others. We have now taken legal advice and will be taking this much further.

Modern day highwaymen! Had to leave early due to an unsanitary hotel with a cockroach infestation and water pouring out of the air-conditioning system. Given a second room, just as bad. Refusing to enter any conversation as we ended the holiday early apparently "Terminating our contract with them". Trading standards next . Don't waste your hard earned money. 3k for 6 days in a place only suitable for . I'm a celebrity get me out of here and Hotels from Hell!!

Very bad service. They are cheap but you will end up paying more, for flights check in and luggage and other stuff. I booked my holiday with them and was threatened by the hotel security and staff. When I raised the issue with them they were aggressive towards me. I have a video as evidence, but love holidays said I should've called the British embassy when the hotel staff trying to keep us prisoners. If we're were going to police then I had to loose my flight and transfer to the airport... very bad 👎 😕

I advise any reasonable person to avoid any contact with this company. Look for vacations anywhere but no with them. The consultants lie, provide false information, and manipulate customers. This is the worst experience I have ever had with customer service.

I originally booked a holiday to Tunisia for 5 people, total cost £3100. Due to some security concerns from female passengers I decided to amend to go to Spain instead. I followed their procedure and re-booked the flights with EasyJet and paid them the cost of change directly. I chose a new hotel and was then charged a total holiday price of £4,383.88. Exactly the same holiday with the same hotel and same configuration was available on the loveholidays site for £3052.57 at exactly the same time. I phoned up to query and they gave some excuse about 'live' prices - but those two prices were available at the same time. I would expect to be charged a reasonable amount to switch but this is completely unacceptable. Bear in mind that they will fleece you and not care for such amendments. There is no good reason for such a charge when the same holiday is available for so much less at the same time I would not book with them again, left a really sour taste for a family holiday that I was really looking forward to I did a web chat with someone, no help whatsoever and then they just cut me off, customer service is atrocious The way they lead you through the hotel change is very sly. They get you to pick a hotel first and you would reasonably expect that the price will be what you see on the website. They then get you to change your flights directly with the airline and confirm that you have done that (which of course means paying more money to the airline direct). Only then do they present the inflated hotel price. So then you are stuck. You either need to lose money by paying the inflated price or cancel altogether meaning losing everything

Live chat with a person on Love holidays after flights were changed to completely different dates therefore needing to cancel. Rude and unprofessional they ended the live chat before they had answered my query even denying flights had been changed. Why do customers have to do all the leg work!!! Would give zero stars if able to.

I booked Holliday to Istanbul on the 2 end of October for six days, I was sent to a disgusting hotel the room was not fit for a dog. When I complained I was refunded 15 pounds that was an insult. They didn’t care about what you reported to them. No care in the world.

Do not waste your money with this company. They booked our flights on different days to our hotel check in and check out dates then refused to help or give us a refund, they said it was our problem to change the flights if we wasn’t happy even though they APPARENTLY booked us a PACKAGE holiday. Absolute disgrace. No holiday and no refund. Customer service is disgusting. They just want your money, they don’t care about your family’s holiday

The worst company ever. We booked holiday in June. On Saturday the 19th when we arrived in the hotel we were told hotel is overbooked and they send us to alternative hotel 4.5km away from the one we booked and is nothing as the one we bookend. They told us booking window was closed in February however Loveholdays didn’t and let customer overbooked. After complaining so many time via chat and emails all the reply they gave us is speak with the hotel and ask them to sort the issue. The most unreliable agency and I will never ever book with them.
