Shocking customer service and shocking company ethics there isn't a rating zero so obliged to give one star, would like to give a minus 10 avoid this company at all costs, it will cost you, not them as they steal your money

. I know ALL customers of LOVE HOLIDAYS ARE BEING IGNORED AND UNABLE TO GET REFUNDS It would have been good to be able to phone to sort things out but they cut off phone support. In the absence of this I have done an IMAGINARY phone call with their ceo Alex. I PUT THIS REVIEW ON TRUST PILOT AND THEY ARE TRYING TO GET IT REMOVED. PLEASE COPY AND CIRCULATE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Alex: Hi David, how can I help. David: Hi Alex, it's good to get through to someone, I've tried daily for the last couple of weeks to get a response with no success. Alex: Yes,sorry about that but we've had a difficult time, most of our efforts have been utilised maintaining sufficient 5 star reviews to keep them well over 60%, in these difficult times. David: Yes, I see you have a reward policy for reviews, good and bad. I thought I might get one because I've given you many bad reviews and they're genuine, honest and being read by many potential customers .Additionally,I'm mentioning Love Holidays in other posts I make,my comments were read by 1000's of potential customers yesterday,the power of the internet ! Anyway, I should have been on one of your wonderful holidays at the moment in Rhodes but instead I'm at home. It's not bad, particularly now the weather's improved, the food's probably better here and the bed's clean. The problem is, I'm 73 and since my wife's passing live alone and of course with social distancing cannot get out at the moment. That's fine but I incur extra living costs by having to pay for food deliveries and not able to bargain hunt. So you see I would like my money returned ,pronto ,so to speak ! I gave it to you last Oct., so you've had it for quite a while. Alex: Look David,we really want you to enjoy a holiday with us, we know you've been looking forward to visiting Rhodes and you shouldn't be spending your holiday money on food,if you've lost weight before you go you might even find the cuisine in the hotel edible. That's why we've decided to help you out by giving you a voucher, it is of course ATOL protected and you can use it to purchase a holiday from us,Love Holidays. David: Obviously I'd love to have a holiday but at the moment food is more important..At one time I would have valued ATOL protection and over the years have sought a holiday with that protection and duly paid the fee, a sort of insurance. Now I realise their word is not their bond. You say the voucher is safe but your small print (you know the bits you don't want people to read) says that the terms can be altered. Alex: Yes but these are difficult times,we have to protect our business so you can enjoy living your dream. You should be grateful we are keeping our business solvent so you can enjoy the dream for years to come. Can't you feel the love coming from L....ove Holidays. David: I checked your site and a special holiday came up for me in May -same resort,same hotel, same board basis but the price was MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH AS I paid for the holiday I should be on now..I checked other dates over the next few months ,they were even more expensive. Alex:Well market forces apply and remember we're giving you a voucher for almost half the amount. Think how much it would cost without the voucher! David: So,Alex,let's see if I understand. I paid £500 for a holiday,which was cancelled. You won't return my money even though in my opinion you are breaking the law but you will give me a voucher and I give you another £700 I can have the same holiday. When that holiday is cancelled,will you refund my £1200 or give me a voucher so I can use it against a holiday which you may well choose to charge me £2,500 for at that time. Alex:The trouble with plebs like you ,is you expect us to do the decent thing.If you think we're spending money out of the profits which rose by 190% last year,or any of the£180 million for the sale to private equity, you've gotta be joking. IF YOU CAN'T BE REASONABLE I'M TERMINATING THIS CALL.

Absolutely terrible company. Customer service is as bad as it gets. You can never get through to anybody with queries etc and when you do, there may as well be a bloody Parrot sat on the end of the line . Spend a bit extra and travel with a reputable company or at least with a company that has a store so's you can at least talk to them.

Love holidays are quick to keep taking my money yet I can’t get in contact with them! Live chat not working, no reply on social media platforms, no email address, no message function in manage my booking and no phone number! Shockingly bad

Love Holidays are refusing to refund my flight money, and telling me to contact the airline direct for a refund. ABTA say this is WRONG and Love Holidays are legally obligated to refund me direct. When I told this to Love Holidays they disconnected the chat. Love holidays told me that I could only cash a refund credit note AFTER it expires and when the protection has ended, which means I risk not getting anything. ABTA said this is WRONG. Refund credit notes should be refunded in full BEFORE the expiry date. Love Holidays misinformed me and disconnected me on 3 occasions just for asking for what I know I am legally entitled to. They have stolen my money and ended all communication. I am disgusted to read reviews of where they have refused refunds to vulnerable older people, or people who are financially struggling. I think Love-less Holidays would be a more fitting re-branding. I would advise everyone who has been ripped off by Love-less holidays to put a formal complaint into ABTA. They will contact Love-less holidays on your behalf and ABTA have the power to discipline and ultimately withdraw membership to Love-less Holidays. Every single complaint to ABTA is formal evidence of their disreputable and criminal practice. ABTA helpline is 0203 117 0599 and you can register a formal complaint via their website. You can upload as evidence transcripts of all your conversations with Love holidays where you have been misinformed, ignored or cut off just for asking for what is rightfully yours.

Please please can someone bring this company love holidays to joe Duffy shoe and expose them for what they are doing to us , we have lost and jobs and have family’s and still are expected to continue paying for a holidays that can’t or won’t go ahead and even if it did we have no funds to pay , you can’t ring or get a reply from emails , it’s like banging your head of a wall , @joeduffyshow needs to see all our frustrations

Not only are you denying customer refunds you are taking reviews down, shame on you, just give the refunds as required by law and the truth of how your customers feel might go away.

Covid 19 this company are the worst ever to deal with will not accept calls emails etc. They have along with airline cancelled my holiday. Will now write recorded delivery asking for a full refund into my bank if no answer I will go to small claims court within 21 days I do not want a credit note

Fake reviews by non existent staff I know as I worked there the names of helpful staff don’t exist love holidays put loads of positive reviews on Trustpilot to hide the real ones where customers have posted negatives

My holiday cancelled due to Covid 19 and FCO advice. I want a refund Love Holiday refusing to give me one. I don't want a credit note against future hol. I am entitled to a full refund so why are you not complying with your own Terms and Conditions. More over ABTA advice is to give refund - they are not a regulatory body and you are hiding behind their advice to give customers credit notes. I want a full refund but no way of getting hold of this invisible company. Telephone lines with automated messages that cut you off. Absolutely dreadful. Wish I had never used your services as this money is clearly down the drain and I am self employed not earning a penny during Lock down. Disgusting behaviour from this company. Your Live Chat is waste of time too - absolutely useless would get more information out of my dog.

Cancelling holidays AFTER final payment is due purposely so customers breach contract and lose the whole money. Isolation is until 7th May and my holiday is 4th May therefore this should have clearly been cancelled however the last update they gave people was on 15th. Through isolation and work I have not paid the final payment as I need money for food during pandemic but love holidays now state Iv breached contract as didn’t make final payment on 20th even though I can’t leave the house until 7th so my 4th holiday is clearly cancelled!!!! Awful company

Luckily I was able to go away before the coronavirus! However... I rang them 3 days into my holiday to complain after speaking with reception At the accommodation, I had several issues with the hotel that I passed on! Today I received an email after emailing them again 47 days after my original call to ask what was happening, to receive an email back saying my case was closed as I didn’t speak to reception at the hotel! I was there every morning for the first 3 days then I called love holidays. So they have now closed the case with no offer of any refund. Nothing. This was and is the worst holiday I have ever experienced They are the worst company I have ever dealt with, avoid avoid avoid.

I had a reservation with them that has been canceled and in the only communication I have received from them so far they only give me the option dates. It is true that the reservation was not originally refundable if it were canceled by me. However, the reservation was canceled by the hotel itself, due to the restrictions imposed by its gibben due to the Covid 19. They are therefore obliged to return it. I am also aware that the hotel in question is returning the reservation in cases like mine. I booked myself at the same hotel for another leg of my trip, through another agency, and it has been returned to me. Love holidays is committing a serious irregularity, offering me no alternative but to change the dates of my trip, protected by the difficulties they put in contacting them directly. This behavior is close to and it damages the uk brand. Never contract with this company. They are thiefs. I request the maximum diffusion

I booked my hotel with my my meagre savings and being self employed I now have no income until June 2020. I explained this to love holidays just before they took out their final payment. They actually cancelled my holiday and then took out the final payment. It was for hotel only booking with them. I contacted the hotel before they shut and they claimed that love holidays don’t pay them until the hotel stay is over. I would have happily paid a cancellation fee for to help contribute towards their costs but even that was refused. They took their money anyway

@DO NOT USE TOTAL CON. Booked a week in April for me and my disabled son and everything was fine then Corona happened. I was meant to travel in 16th and tried to cancel weeks before. I tried emailing and live chat which is a joke. They also said they wouldn't take any balance left as holiday had been cancelled. Then low and behold they go into my bank account and take my last 300. They will take your money in a heart beat but you can't contact them surely shutting down all your phone lines is illegal. Now me and my family could use the money as we're not working now due to the crisis but can't get it back from love holidays. The only good thing to come out of this is love holidays will fail and go bust and if I need to loose my money then for this it's week worth it good night love holidays please put the light out before you leave theifing scumbags
