This company is a disgrace, unethical and should be stopped from operating. They way it has treated its customers through COVID 19 is appalling. No communication, took phones down, put a chat which isn’t working or cannot find on the link, no email communication since March. I am sorry to say my experience is replicated according to their Facebook page of frustrated and angry customers who are finding the same poor communication. I cannot answer your questions in when I communicated with the company as whilst I do so weekly there is no communication back.

I have a kos holiday booked and jet2 have cancelled the flight and refunded loveholidays for the flight.I contacted love holidays and they confirmed they had received this refund and would credit my bank within 4/6 weeks which is not acceptable as they state on their website they will refund as soon as they receive the refund.I then asked if I could book another holiday using the balance outstanding for which I will get a credit note and was informed this was not possible as the holiday had not been cancelled yet by loveholidays to which I replied there is no flight ,you have received a full refund from the airline therefore the holiday is cancelled.The reply was until I receive notification to this effect,which will be in their time all I could do was book a new holiday and pay a deposit the amount they owe me would eventually be deducted from the cost to which I replied you owe me more than the cost of this new holiday and I am not prepared to give more money until I get back the amount owed.The agent then stated I would have to wait until they contact me in the meantime holiday prices are rising and it will cost me more while this company holds on to my money disgraceful

Went to Egypt in beginning of March with Love Holidays. The lock down started soon after we arrived, tried every way possible to get in touch with LH, but failed. Ultimately we were left in the hotel with just 6 other people, my family at home we’re trying to get in touch with LH but were unable to. By this time all the other tour operators had got their people out. Eventually TUI, took pity on us and allowed us on one of there repatriation flights. Are LH still trading, I’ve been trying for 2 months to get in touch with them. My insurance company has agreed to pay but needs notification from LH to say they will or will not compensate for part holiday refunds, they can’t contact them either. Never never go with this company, there advertising suggest all is normal disgraceful!!!

We booked a trip to Poland with Loveholiday.com as per contract we paid our deposit, and over the period of three months paid we paid the full amount. Everything seemed in place and waited for the travel date. However, our package holiday was then split, Half our money was sent to Easy jet then March 23rd lock down started. We were still told by LH we were still flying even though the FCO in the UK and the Polish government stated that there would be no travelling to and from Poland. LH failed to correspond in a timely manner, virtually no direct communication with LH, the web page was a farce, we were informed that I holiday is cancelled! So as per 2018 Travel Package Regulations I asked for a full refund? But No! I was told this was not going to happen, I would eventually receive a refund from East jet separately! and a credit note for the rest of the holiday. So the next journey was to get my money back. This Travel Agent is an abhorrent firm driven by financial gain they will not give you your money back. However, I have the skill set to tackle such firms, firstly I challenged their policy, then warned them I would be taking the following action. Because I paid by Credit Card, I would have the benefit of using the Charge back scheme. I invoked this action proving that LH did not follow the law, and failed to correspond in a timely manner. I suggest If you are thinking about using Loveholiday.com Think again! remember, you have worked hard for your holiday, why would you give up your money to a firm who does not care about your needs and if you get into difficulties you will not get your money back, although they state they are ABTA & ATOL protected remember these are a mediation company & the certificate (ATOL) only repatriates you to the UK if the company folds that it! So finally, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. most Agents are just a bank who take your money and sell on your travel plans, either a cheaper flight with night time flights ( your are informed a few weeks before) and a change of hotel or resort not what you have asked for? Always pay with your Credit Card, never us an agent, Search and book independently you will not regret it, why? because now you are the agent and in control of your holiday!

After 2 months of ringing over 20 live chats we finally got are money back,after speaking to numerous people who have told us to cry poverty and can’t even pay for food to feed are children we decided to give it a go,after 45 mins of waiting we got through on live chat and did exactly what we was told, low and behold they refunded all are money except £50 for cancellation which I still think it’s a joke,I will never use this company ever again but my message here is just to try and help other customers out,hope it helps people stay safe and hopefully like myself stay clear of love holidays discrace of a company

Like all most of the other posts, feeling really let down by this company. My holiday was meant to be 29th April 2020 - return 6th May 2020. I have already told the company I understand about the flight part of the holiday, (Ryanair) and that they couldn't refund this however they told me I could have a cash refund for the rest, hotel, transfers. I paid for this holiday in full back in Feb 2020 and I have still not received any cash refund back to my account. Cannot get on to the Chat Line or get a response from message sent through LoveHolidays Manage my Booking. I will not be using this company again.

Customer service is non existent horrid company very unreliable and after thinking I booked a packaged holiday I’m left feeling like I booked separate having to get passed from post to post to get my refund! Still not received either and they are not great at updates either

If I could give no stars I would. Due to fly 1st July to Rhodes. I am meant to pay balance 17th June... trying to contact them to change dates and can get no response... no live chat ... going to lose £600 as I refuse to pay balance on a holiday I probably can’t and don’t want to go on.

3rd booking with LH. 1st we had no problems. 2nd was cancelled as was flying with Thomas Cook, refunded quickly. Booked the same again which is cancelled due to Covid. Been kept up to date all along and will receive a credit note to use or to be exchanged for cash. Ive no problems with LH and will be using them again.

If I could give no stars I would. Our return flights have been cancelled for a trip end of June. The flights have been cancelled due to COVID 19 for nearly three weeks however I have had NO contact from love holidays despite messaging them 5 times as they recommend. Finally today we managed to get on an online chat after waiting half an hour to be told that the holiday wasn’t cancelled even though we have no return flights!!!! Absolutely atrocious service. No refund. No holiday. No real contact as they ended the chat and said we need to wait to hear! Not sure what more they need to be able to cancel a booking. Terrible I will never ever book a holiday with love holidays again and recommend you don’t either.

My holiday got cancelled 1 st May due to Covid 19 NOT HEARD A WORD FROM LOVE HOLIDAYS they are a absolute disgrace. When on live chat as soon as you mention CASH REFUND they disconnect from you. Wont be booking again with them

Holiday booked for the 25th March. Cancelled due to coronavirus! I have received my accommodation refund but still waiting for a flight refund. The company is not taking calls, emails or live chat.

Like everyone you has posted recently: Do not book with this company. No communication, have to chase despite being told someone would be in touch No person to talk to, only web chat, who each tell you something different and try stalling tactics Only one thing to say.....SHOW ME MY MONEY!!

We have been issued a refund credit note on the bases they would then offer a cash refund is requested. We have written to them recorded delivery only for the letter to be returned as refused, we then try to call only to be directed to a live chat. We finally get a live chat and they say there is nothing they can do re a refund and the the end the line chat. They are a disgrace!

My holiday was cancelled in April, I am still waiting for my refund. First time i have used this company and shall never ever use again. I will stick with jet2. who i must say refunded my daughter within 10 days as soon as her holiday was cancelled, and she not due to fly for another two weeks. LOVEHOLIDAYS you are a disgrace.

Absolutely shocking service! Please DO NOT book with these people! Their customer service is so so so bad! No one will reply - they say they will do this or that and nothing will get done! Please do not waste your money on these people! Me & my partner cancelled our holiday after their continuous delay. Its crazy how no one ever gets back to you but as soon as we cancelled we had a message saying sorry your cancelling - it only cost us 100 pounds - take the hit and don't give them another penny of your holiday dream. These people & this company are disgusting!

Paid in full for a holiday in early May which was cancelled to COVID19. Impossible to get in touch with Love Holidays, they do not respond to any communication. I will NEVER EVER use this company again, and am doubtful I will be refunded for the TWO holidays I have booked with them this year.

Holiday on 15th March cancelled. Finally got refund of accommodation and transfers but they say flight should be claimed from Ryanair. I contend my holiday was a package so LH should refund the flights. Have now gone for chargeback with my bank. Everything that people say on here about LH is true. I left a number of 1 star reviews on Trustpilot initially but LH got me threatened by Truspilot. They also have a large number of highly suspicious 5 star reviews claiming to have been in touch with LH and got refunds. C^&p. I have reported these fake reviews to Trustpilot but i think there is some sort of a deal going with LH and TP as the reviewer is penalised for speaking the truth to help others in the future. This review site seems to represent the truth more and LH haven't been able to nobble the site.

My holiday was due in September, the government announced don’t expect to have holiday abroad this year, as the European countries are not letting people in from the Uk. I did what I had to do back in early April because love holidays was not and still not answering telephone calls as their lines are cut off. Live chat is not working , no response to emails. So I called my bank to stop payments on my bank card other wise Love Holidays would have kept taking money out. I get a generic email everyday from them. Saying the say thing. Just ignore it. Because no one has been in touch since the start of Covid 19. I urge everyone to do the same, if your still paying contact your bank if you don’t want to lose any more of your hard earned money and in times like Covid19 no one can afford to be out of pocket. Love Holidays are a mindless company who simply don’t care. I would rather loose my holiday than loose anymore money. It’s taught me something about Love Holidays, a small company in Lancing, not offices based, people working from home. A company that cannot be trusted. So those 5 star reviews your reading are all fakes, there from their own staff making Love Holidays look good. Good luck on all of you who wish to continue to pay for your holidays which are simply not happening this year. As the government and watch dog have said do not accept vouchers if Love Holidays go bust which is the way their heading, not only have you lost your holiday but money to. You may see your money in 6 to 8 months time but don’t expect to get all of it back.
