“Clean designed and rugged watches are ideal for outdoor activities. The watch has remained waterproof in fresh or salt waters.
The luminosity of hands and hour markers make it ideal of reading in the darkest environment.
Besides that they are a stylist design.
Lastly they are American made and the company supports our US military foundations.”
“I have been wearing a luminox for the past 20+ years.
My first ones seem to a lot more durable and dependable than current. According to Times Ticking, my last watch I sent in for repair had a cracked backing or housing. Not sure how that happens with watch on my hand.”
“The bracelet was nice looking and I was excited to put it on my watch. I tried for about 30 minutes and couldn’t get it on. So I took it to my local jewelry store to have them put it on. They tried for an hour and they couldn’t get it to go on. So i guess i will have to drive 3 hours to salt lake for a luminox sealer to try to out it on. The other thing that i didn’t like was that it did not come with new pins. It seems like for the cost. They could have thrown in new pins.”

“I was fairly disappointed with the leatherback sea turtle. The watch is extremely light, almost toy-like. It feels cheap and it says “Swiss made”. Do not mistake that for a swooping second hand, it’s choppy. All in all, it does work and looks kind of nice. I would however buy a Gshock next time instead. $400 isn’t a fair price for this watch.”
“Overall a great field watch for daily wear.
My two complaints:
1 - The watch band is very small/not long enough. I don't have big wrists and the buckle is on the 2nd to last notch.
2 - The rubber watch band is incredibly stiff. Over time is might conform to your wrist but some tips or making it softer would be an improvement.
My only other recommendation would be to incorporate the illumination onto the seconds hand for future models.”
“The watch is great have bought other Luminox watches in the past because you can read them in the dark, they replaced my Rolex and Ball watches and I am a Navy Deep Sea diver so reading the watch in the dark deep water is the selling point.”
“The band on my Leatherback SEA Turtle Giant doesn't stay in the straps. It's constantly falling out and I have to readjust. I asked customer service for help and they just ignored me telling me that it's normal with wear and tear. It's brand new.”
“No need. Haven’t had the watch more than a month , its carbon case is frail and broke from the strap connection. Now LUMINOX is looking to have me send it in for repair;
Ordered the watch for National Purple Heart day a little treat of time to myself and yet they won’t cover for it and expect more money now. Should have stayed with G-Shock”
“Luminox is one of my favorite watch brands being that I used to be in the military, and I do like the nostalgic analog design and mechanics that retain great craftsmanship. Much different than a smart watch, which seems to be gimmicky, however Luminox projects A certain aesthetic that I’d like to adhere to. I like to call it a dude watch for cool dudes.”
“My most recent purchase: Pacific Diver Ripple was to include 2 watch bands + tool to help switch bands, etc.. Upon receiving package, no helpful tool was included and the watch was running (no plastic clip was included to keep this from happening in transit). 2nd time no tool was included, as described in offer. Almost seemed like this specific watch was a 'returned item' repackaged! Disappointed ...”
“I need the "always visible" feature which Luminox provide through the use of tritium. The Luminox 3350 Series Mil Spec watch I just bought is the fourth Luminox watch I have purchased. I was so excited when it arrived. I put on the cammo strap and admired its look and feel. My elation crashed the next morning when I woke up and grabbed my watch to check the time. Where was the seconds hand? I couldn't see it. I could see everything else as expected, but the seconds hand was no longer visible. The seconds hand was obviously not made of tritium like everything else on the watch and was not "always visible" as advertised. I was deeply disappointed and felt as if I had been misled. I love this watch and will wear it until it wears out, but I don't appreciate the fall advertising and being misled. How can this be made right? Correct your advertising or change the seconds hand to also contain tritium. Anyone who already bought a Series 3350 Mil Spec needs to have the seconds hand upgraded to tritium if they desire at no cost. Taking these actions will make it right.”
“Nice watch, but ordered the braided bracelet band which cost me over $200 and no springs were included. The springs on the rubber band that came with the original band were not removable. Kind of disappointed plus I had to go to a jeweler and pay for springs.”
