I booked on line the Short Stay car park as it was near to the terminal, however this car park is also used as a drop off and collection car park which means it is very busy at all times. Finding a space was a nightmare, and there were cars that had literally being abandoned in spots that were not designated for parking. One such car had been parked in a position that obstructed the free flow of traffic around the car park which was causing chaos. The offending car was still abandoned in the same position when I returned the following day from my trip. On reflection I would have preferred to park in the medium stay car park and taken the short bus ride to the terminal.

Prepaid ticket was of no use at all. We had to queue to leave the car park late at night as EVERYONE was having to call the help line to have the barrier raised. Not a good experience. Not much choice of an alternative though.

the bus stop shelter leaks like a sieve when its raining, not protected enough. I think I got wetter standing in it than if I was under an umbrella outside!!

The parking experience was very poor due to the state of the road/car park... also there werea lot of pools. It is quite tricky to identify the exit, and the path to go out/iin of the car park by walk when you need to go to the terminal. The price was OK for a small airport like Luton but i was expecting better conditions for these price. It was almost like leave the car in the middle of a field full of stones, puddles...

Its the bus system that is just not fit for purpose, you need to put on more buses and not cram us in like rush hour on a friday night tube train. I am 32 but making a lot of the more elderly customers stand up is shameful. Put on more buses and make it an actually bearable experience. I would not book again.

Had to wait a long time to get out following problems with barriers. On bus should be made clearer what section we are stopping at.

When exiting the car park I was asked to pay £37 despite having pre booked and paid for my parking. I then had to wait at the barrier for someone to answer the phone to let me out. This is pretty basic stuff. If you're going to operate a pre booking system it should, at the very least, recognise when people have pre booked.

Poor communication when trying to call and discuss the parking prior to arriving Poor quality parking roads Robotic unhelpful "jobsworth" of a driver

I had pre-booked but the automatic number plate recognition didn't work on arrival so the barrier didn't open and a ticket was presented without a greeting. I only knew this because I'd used the car park before and I had been greeted by name on the machine and the barrier had opened. I had to use the help button to talk to someone who then had to look up my booking. I had to do the same on departure as a payment was demanded although I'd already paid. Not very smooth and seamless. I'm wondering if it's because I tried to enter 15 minutes early from the time shown on my booking or if that doesn't make any difference. If it does then there must be a way to deal with this scenario. I even waited the extra mins until the actual booked time before trying again but with the same result.

Parked in the short stay car park; there was misleading signage about available spaces; the car park was difficult to navigate around and the surface was poor in many places

On my way out the system at the barrier has requested me to pay the full amount as if I’d never pre-booked my stay! I had to call Customer Services to rectify the issue, which was solved in the end.

Its a good location, very handy to the airport. But for an uncovered patch of tarmac with potholes and puddles for pedestrians to stumble into its rather overpriced. Not to mention all the multi-point turns up and down the isles to find a place to park...

Pre-booking process was fine, however the form stated that our entry into car park would be recorded, and the number plate and booking ref would be printed on the entry ticket - it wasn't, which made us worry that we were in the wrong car park! Then, because our entry hadn't been recorded, we had to buzz for absolutely ages at the exit barriers, before speaking to a man, giving the reference number, and being told the barriers would now raise. They didn't. Lots more buzzing, repeat of same process before barriers finally rose. Also cars tightly wedged, and lots of potholes. Given price, you would think they could improve this!

The surface of the carpark has deteriorated over the past few years, and the layout means that if you turn down a particular aisle and it is full, you have to reverse all the way back as there is nowhere at the end to turn left or right.

I was surprised to see big potholes in the carpark and the ground was very rough quality. On exit the ticket gave us the non pre-booked price but we had already paid online. We had to reverse back and found an official who said ring for assistance at the barrier. We didn't see any notices to help us but it was dark.

Short term car park is in very poor condition and spaces are too close together.

Poor sign posting to enter & exit car park & around that area of the airport in general - road markings are practically non-existent. Poor car park surface - gravel so car was covered in dust on return & difficult to pull a suitcase along. Difficulty finding a free space - rows were a dead end so involved reversing the length to try another row. Pre-paid parking - ticket did not register this on departure & had to wait for call to be answered to be able to exit.

I always pre book and on the last 2 occasions the number plate recognition hasn't worked and the machine trys to charge me again on exit. I then have to go through everything with the person on the intercom. It's getting a bit tedious and I am a regular user of the car park, if it continues I will probably seek alternatives.

When we arrived we were running late so tried to park in short stay to save time. We were advised not to as there was 'no space' (despite my colleague being pre-booked in the short stay car park). We were directed to mid-stay. We had to wait over 25 minutes for the shuttle bus to terminal, putting even more pressure on an already late arrival. Upon departure from the car park the machine failed to recognise that I had pre-booked and paid for my parking already. The member of staff I contacted rectified this quickly and without argument, but just another unnecessary hold up. Overall disappointed.

All was ok until you tried to overcharge me by £84 when I left the car park. Even though I had paid fully in advance and was well within my booked time slots the exit machine tried to get an extra £84 from me and caused an embarrassing hold up. The member of staff on the help button managed to sort it, but I will be reluctant to use you again. I feel very wary of your systems.
