When we arrived we were running late so tried to park in short stay to save time. We were advised not to as there was 'no space' (despite my colleague being pre-booked in the short stay car park). We were directed to mid-stay. We had to wait over 25 minutes for the shuttle bus to terminal, putting even more pressure on an already late arrival. Upon departure from the car park the machine failed to recognise that I had pre-booked and paid for my parking already. The member of staff I contacted rectified this quickly and without argument, but just another unnecessary hold up. Overall disappointed.

All was ok until you tried to overcharge me by £84 when I left the car park. Even though I had paid fully in advance and was well within my booked time slots the exit machine tried to get an extra £84 from me and caused an embarrassing hold up. The member of staff on the help button managed to sort it, but I will be reluctant to use you again. I feel very wary of your systems.

They should make sure the booking system and the ticket issuing machines are synchronized. In our case, our plate and booking reference number was not recognized and we had to ask for assistance to avoid paying twice. In addition, the parking should be better signed.

Booking was easy and access to the car park was automatic but that's where the pleasure ended. The state of the car park is a disgrace - the surface resembles that of a derelict waste ground. It is difficult to find spaces - signs indicate that parking is available but when you reach the end of the row you find no spaces and have to reverse to the start of the row, when other cars are coming towards you. Very, very poor car park layout.

Drop off was ok, and the busses to and from were fast and efficient. The exit was a nightmare for me, the other drivers I held up and the other motorist in front of me who all had the same issue. When we pressed the buzzer the guy answered 5 minutes later, and this delay in answering was for every driver a many had issues. This is the second time I've had an issue at the exit gate. Get this right and we will be winning.

For the price this car park charges, it would be nice if they'd Tarmac it. Full of pot holes and more like a waste ground than a proper car park. But at least it is close to the airport - just a short walk to the terminal.

On exit, it tried to charge me £168 - when I had already pre-booked it and paid around £60 already - after pressing the button in a panic, for about a minute, with people backing up behind me, someone eventually answered and let me through.

My car was not recognised on exit and the machine said I owed £152.

The entrance is confusing and the car park surface is terrible, more like a dirt track with old kerbs everywhere that you cannot avoid. I prepaid, yet when I went to exit, the machine stated that there was an outstanding amount of £110.00. I then had to call for assistance who acknowledged the error and let me out. This was all a monumental waste of time. I would not recommend this parking service, but it is the only short stay service the airport has, so you don't have much choice.

The booking process is easy but the short term parking area is in an appalling state. Overcrowded, signage virtually non-existent, very difficult to find a space and the surface is rough, rutted ground.

Parts of the parking area are little more than a partially gravelled field, and I was ignored by a shuttle bus driver who saw me running for the bus but drive away anyway. Poor value and service.

You have to wait far to long for a bus, please invest in a covered parking area so that you can walk to the terminal out of the wind and rain

Unreasonable behaviour from the Bus Driver in the Mid Term Parking on 23/04/2015 at 7.00 pm. After a long flight I have arrived in Luton Airport and bought a coffee for 2.45 pm from Nero Cafe to drink while I was driving my car back home. Once I was onboard the driver approached me to inform that I was not allowed to carry the coffee on the bus as per the companies policy. I kindly ask him to allow me to put the coffee cup in a bag or in my suitcase. The smart driver insisted I was not allowed so as well. I had to throw the coffee away so I can reach my car and drive back home. Needless to say the Driver upset me and ruin my day because what happened was in my view unreasonable not to say stupid or else. I hope this comment reach the attention of the Car Parking management to correct such treatment for a regular customer.

Short stay parking area is awfull but convienient for getting to the terminal otherwise I wouldn't use it. Spend the money and deal with the uneven surfaces and make sure that you do not drive up dea ends looking for spaces which in most cases are rather scarce.

Lay out of short stay car park is diabolical I was advised of spaces and found the row to be a dead end. Found it very dangerous to reverse the whole length of the row. This car park has been in this condition for many years and it now time it was improved. Unless absolutely necessary I will not use Luton airport again.

The surface is very rough, the parking spaces poorly marked, there were no free parking spaces in the area indicated as having free spaces, people were parked in the lanes at the end of the line of parking spaces, so nobody could get out and we all had to reverse back to the entrance - altogether, a pretty miserable experience!

Despite the fact that I had prebooked and paid fully for my parking (We arrived on time and left early) when we can to leave I inserted the ticket and the display showed that I owed £57, I pressed the assistance button and the lady was very helpful and found or booking and let us out. But u don't understand why this happened.

For what you charge you need to invest in a proper road surface!

The car park is extremely dusty with a very poor surface. It is uneven and present many trip hazards, not to mention being very difficult to wheel luggage. Also, there are no lines for pedestrians, who feel very vulnerable to moving vehicles. The ticket did not read our number plate and there was no explanation at the gate of what to do when over £250 excess payment was erroneously requested.

At Luton I always use the mid-term car park and judging by the footpath that has been worn in the grass so do a lot of other people. However it seems that everything has been done to impede our progress. Instead of the fence on the opposite side of the road which has it seems been put there to discourage people from walking to the terminal but fails dismally, why not consider building a walk way from the car park to the terminal on the same side of the road as the car park? Often I can walk to the terminal, despite the obstacles in my way, without even seeing a mid-term shuttle bus going in either direction, so I consider that it can also be a quicker way to arrive in the terminal. Britons are often been said to be becoming a nation of obese people let's encourage them to take a little exercise . . .
