“the service is generally very good, but on the last three occasions when i have booked online, when i arrive at the car park and take the ticket, it has not recognized my number plate and therefore when i exit, it asks for extra money and i have to ring the buzzer to get let out. The person is always very helpful but i shouldnt need to do this? i thought that when i approached the barrier, it would recognise my number plate, issue the right ticket and i would therefore be able to just drive out at the end. small thing but would make a massive difference to the experience. thanks”

“Everything was fine - would prefer an easier pedestrian route to the terminal however (it is really an easily walkable distance, but there is a lack of footpath and road crossing directly next to the carpark).”

“Parking was easy and close to the terminal but as I had prebooked I was slightly phased when I entered the car park, as I expected the the barrier to automatically recognise my number plate and let me in. I took a ticket however and decided to worry about what would happen when I returned the same day from my trip and drove my car out of the car park. At the point of leaving I put my ticket that I had taken when I arrived into the machine but it still didn't know that I had already paid and asked me for payment - at the full rate - not the prebooked rate. The situation was resolved however when I pressed the help button and gave my car park booking code to the operator who then let me through.”

“I use the short term car park as when booked in advance it is quite reasonable and I can walk straight into the airport. Very convenient and saves time. The quality of the park surface is really bad, pot holes, feels grubby and often dirty in bad weather.”

“Very good service, only thing was my booking confirmation stated that the ticket would state my car registration but it didn't so this panicked me a bit but after speaking to a very helpful member of staff he said that that wasn't always the case and if they tried to charge me on my exit then I should just press the help button and state my booking reference which I had to do.”

“The surface of the car park is appalling, and the areas should should walk are not clearly marked and even when they are the surface is not very well maintained.”

“Very pleased with the parking and bus experience, but disappointed with the vehicle recognition as it didn't recognise the pre booked space.Fortunately I had my reservation code to hand otherwise it would have cost me another£20 plus.”

“Buses to terminal are frequent enough, but there seemed to be little advantage going for the long stay car park nearer the terminal. Booking a week in advance is much cheaper than a couple of days beforehand - almost half the price for my 2 day stay. Overall good, but not brilliant as far as airport parking goes.”

“Meet and greet parking is an excellent service, quick and convenient. Staff are efficient and polite. Would have given it a very good rating but the cost of this service compared to other airports for our dates was considerably more.”
