“Very disappointed. I bought a 16 inch Halo after considering this for some time and having consultations about the colour. The swatch couldn’t tell you how the fit is going to be. It’s.like a wig and nothing like how the tick tok videos are. Waste of my money and I can’t return as they refuse to accept. You can also feel like a lump at the back. The wire I don’t know how long it will last and it doesn’t feel very secure.”

“They are so soft but the neutral brown has a noticeable green hue to them. I didn’t notice until after I ripped the box open.”

“Luxy has had incredible customer service any time I've had questions for them. I've been wearing luxies egularly for many years due to hair loss from prescription meds. I'm all about the undetectable natural look I find with the halo and i am thrilled with the new dimensional colors.They are gorgeous and I found a perfect match to complete an easy to use, natural, beautiful confidence boost.”

“Literally the worst extensions I’ve ever purchased in my life. I’m a hair stylist and these extensions look nothing like the look in the photos online. I tried to email them and they said “after reviewing the photos they match the photo description”. Do not purchase they are a waste of $400 almost $500 dollars. Won’t even let me post the photos on here.”

“Sadly, these are going straight back. I was so excited to try Luxy’s 16” Seamless extensions in “Light Gray” on my silver hair. I’ve been anxiously tracking the package for days and I ran straight to the bathroom when it arrived. I couldn’t wait to try the test hair and had already booked an appointment with my stylist to customize the extensions to my hairstyle. • WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT • 1️⃣ It was immediately evident that my virgin silver is far prettier than this yellowy interpretation they call “Light Gray”. But I thought, “okay, maybe it just needs purple shampoo/toner”. I have faith in my stylist’s ability and I was going to make them work! But 2️⃣ I could immediately see the dark gray seam. (Seriously, who thought a dark gray seam wouldn’t be obvious in “light gray” hair?) And then as I looked closer, 3️⃣ A LOT of the hair was sooo much shorter than 16” (more like 6-8”) making the extensions noticeably thinner at the ends. There are so many short hairs that it looks a bit frizzy, which I already have enough of, thank you very much. 😕 So I’m bummed. I’ll be canceling my hair appointment and sending these straight back. • I’ve attached photos so you can judge for yourself whether the color, seam, or hair quality is right for you. •”

Each set comes with a tester weft to see the shade in person, before opening the set. Thank you for your feedback as well on the ratio of hairs. Luxy Hair extensions are made from single-drawn hair. This is one of the most natural-looking types of extensions as it mimics your natural hair the best - single-drawn hair has a standard hair ratio where the hair contains a combination of varied hair lengths and does not undergo an additional sorting process to pick out shorter hairs. The hair is thick at the top and tapers off at the bottom, similar to how natural hair grows. We've passed along your comments here to our team. “Absolutely love the scalp fill in extensions. I can wear them so high up and it blends in perfectly. They are more comfortable than the regular wefts. Mocha brown has always been a perfect match for me. I use this in addtion to the 24" classic clip in extension. High priced but the quality is good. Only gripe is that the longest is 20" If they came in 22" or 24" it would be perfect. With 20" it works as I blend them with the shorter strands closer to my face but it limits where I can wear them. I have long hair and use luxies for volume, not length.”

“Here’s a polished review that sounds firm, honest, and detailed without sounding overly harsh: I’m really disappointed because the original Ash Brown Highlights halo was the reason I fell in love with Luxy Hair in the first place. The older version had beautiful ribbon-style highlights with more dimension and contrast, and it looked much more luxurious and salon-quality. The newer color feels much more blended and muted, and it completely changed the look that made the original so special. I also noticed the halo band itself is not as comfortable as before. The wire/band doesn’t feel stretchy enough, which makes it feel tighter and less secure to wear comfortably for long periods. The older halos felt lighter and more flexible. I truly miss the original ribbon-highlight style and wish Luxy would bring it back or offer it as an option again. It was much more flattering and unique compared to the newer overly blended balayage look. I’ll have to find a different company”

“After so many disappointments with badly layered haircuts, I decided to risk clip in extensions. After the first day I knew I will never be without them. The look I want, now, is available to me as I wait to grow out the layers. The hair is of good quality and lightweight on my head. I highly recommend.”

“I’m so bummed I’ve heard amazing reviews about Luxy. I was so excited I even drove all the way down to their warehouse to pick up my order in Salt Lake City. However, I had my stylist dye my extensions (she specializes in extensions) and they would not hold color at all. We know extensions can pull Ashy or green, these definitely had both. I got the chocolate brown which had a really heavy green undertone so of course we had to counter that and warm up the color to match my current color. Three rounds and we could not get the color to hold at all. The green undertone was too much. I did purchase test samples before hand and we dyed them with no issues and the green undertone wasn’t as bad. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch of hair but it would not hold color. I am so disappointed and heartbroken.”

“Luxy hair has the best extensions I’ve ever tried. They’re silky, have no fall out, and have huge range of shades to choose from. I was color matched by Haven and she suggested the PERFECT shade! “Color was not right, thought it was based on the sample then once I put the rest of the product out it is not the right color, I used the color experts to help me choose. You can’t send them back once you have opened the bigger box.”

“Unfortunately, neither of the two swatches came even close to matching the color of my hair. Of course, that could be a result of my making poor choices or distortion of the colors by my computer monitor. What does concern me is that the texture of the hair is so thin, even thinner than my own. If, in fact, this is a true representation of the type of hair used, I don't see where these extensions would be of any use to me.”

“I was a long time customer of Hidden Crown and was referred by them. The halo I ordered was not nearly as wide as my previous pieces and it does not even reach the sides of my head where the hair is the thinnest. I cannot do the clip in pieces provided, much too painful. I couldn't tell until I opened the piece or I would have returned it.”
