I’ve been buying Luxy Extensions since 2018, this last order had me super disappointed. I paid extra for a balayage color yet when arrived there was no viable color difference, the wefts are very thin. I have to wear all 9-10 wefts for it to blend. This will be my last purchase from them.

The worst hair I’ve ever ordered. Upon arrival I noticed a lot of layering/breakage to the sample piece. I contacted customer service and they stated it was on purpose to give more of a “natural” appearance. I ended up keeping them and was immediately disappointed. The highlights looked plastic and shinny, making it basically look like tinsel. They tangled extremely bad. Within a week they were trash. Very disappointing, especially considering the price.

Very disappointed. I bought a 16 inch Halo after considering this for some time and having consultations about the colour. The swatch couldn’t tell you how the fit is going to be. It’s.like a wig and nothing like how the tick tok videos are. Waste of my money and I can’t return as they refuse to accept. You can also feel like a lump at the back. The wire I don’t know how long it will last and it doesn’t feel very secure.

Literally the worst extensions I’ve ever purchased in my life. I’m a hair stylist and these extensions look nothing like the look in the photos online. I tried to email them and they said “after reviewing the photos they match the photo description”. Do not purchase they are a waste of $400 almost $500 dollars. Won’t even let me post the photos on here.

Here’s a polished review that sounds firm, honest, and detailed without sounding overly harsh: I’m really disappointed because the original Ash Brown Highlights halo was the reason I fell in love with Luxy Hair in the first place. The older version had beautiful ribbon-style highlights with more dimension and contrast, and it looked much more luxurious and salon-quality. The newer color feels much more blended and muted, and it completely changed the look that made the original so special. I also noticed the halo band itself is not as comfortable as before. The wire/band doesn’t feel stretchy enough, which makes it feel tighter and less secure to wear comfortably for long periods. The older halos felt lighter and more flexible. I truly miss the original ribbon-highlight style and wish Luxy would bring it back or offer it as an option again. It was much more flattering and unique compared to the newer overly blended balayage look. I’ll have to find a different company

I’m so bummed I’ve heard amazing reviews about Luxy. I was so excited I even drove all the way down to their warehouse to pick up my order in Salt Lake City. However, I had my stylist dye my extensions (she specializes in extensions) and they would not hold color at all. We know extensions can pull Ashy or green, these definitely had both. I got the chocolate brown which had a really heavy green undertone so of course we had to counter that and warm up the color to match my current color. Three rounds and we could not get the color to hold at all. The green undertone was too much. I did purchase test samples before hand and we dyed them with no issues and the green undertone wasn’t as bad. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch of hair but it would not hold color. I am so disappointed and heartbroken.

Color was not right, thought it was based on the sample then once I put the rest of the product out it is not the right color, I used the color experts to help me choose. You can’t send them back once you have opened the bigger box.

Unfortunately, neither of the two swatches came even close to matching the color of my hair. Of course, that could be a result of my making poor choices or distortion of the colors by my computer monitor. What does concern me is that the texture of the hair is so thin, even thinner than my own. If, in fact, this is a true representation of the type of hair used, I don't see where these extensions would be of any use to me.

The hair is very synthetic looking with a natural shine and feel. Compared to fashion source clip in extensions which have been very hard to find … Luxy brand feels like a very bad investment. I wish Luxy provided some sort of return option but they don’t. This confirms that it’s best to buy extensions at an actual store where you can verify what your purchasing.

Terrible as I placed two orders as I thought I hadn't completed the first and neither order showed up. When my second order didn't show up I finally see it was a second order but did not receive either order. I made a special hair appointment to have my extensions cut and now will not be able to have the hairdresser I wanted as I will be leaving and she books out months in advance. 😭😭😭 LUXY CLAIMS I sent the packages to the billing address which is 💯 FALSE. I KNOW 💯 I sent the packages to the correct address AND double checked before hitting send! Lucy's system changed the shipping address. I told them to send the carrier to go get the packages if they were sent to the billing address. CRICKETS!!

I’ve been wearing hair extensions for years and take really good care of them, so I was actually excited to try Luxy and tested them out before an event. I’ve only worn them a handful of times, used heat protectant every time, barely even put heat on them, brushed them gently, oiled them, and stored them properly in a case. There’s honestly no reason they should look like this already. They’re already frayed, dry, and look completely worn out like I’ve had them for months, not a few uses. For the price, that’s kind of crazy. I genuinely wanted to love them, but this was a huge letdown. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

I had to pay more in duties, which were not made clear to me up front upon checkout, than I did for the hair extensions. Totally get this is not the company’s fault, but you need to make the duties clear up front.

I have to be honest. The “fringe” clip ins were terrible. I washed and styled them. They sit so far off my scalp. The piece does not blend and it looks awful. Defiantly won’t be making another purchase.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY OF EXTENSIONS. NOT ENOUGH HAIR ATTACHED. HAIR ITSELF IS VERY FINE WITH NO BODY OR WAVE. COLOR IS GOOD. EVEN WORSE THAN ZALA 2024 ZALA 2021 WAS GREAT WORKNG WITH GEL AND MOUSSE TO ADD BODY

I bought 24 inch clip in’s in September. I don’t wear them everyday, I oil and use high quality serums after every use. I curl them on low heat. It’s now December and I’ve maybe worn them 10x and they are completely damaged, and dry. I tried washing them and let them air dry, it made them worse. I spent over $500 on this hair and have had better experience buying $200 extensions off amazon. I would save your money and go elsewhere.

These are one of the worst made extensions I’ve ever used. After being a longtime Bellami hair extension customer, I decided to try something new per my hairstylists recommendation. Big mistake. Before I even wore these for the first time one clip had already detached on one side from the tiny thread it was held on with. After about my 10th wear, another clip hanging off. Meaning either re thread it which is extremely difficult, or don’t wear them at all. For $300+ hair extensions this is absolutely unreal. The hair itself is great but what’s the point if u can’t even wear it? Reached out to customer service and of course all they could do was a $20 refund. I don’t mind spending my money as long as it’s good stuff but these are cheaply made. Do not recommend.
