“Hi MAAP, your clothing is excellent quality, lasts a long time. It cannot be faulted in that regard. The designs look great and I wear it with Melbourne Pride Summer and Winter with accessories also. Where my issues lie is the price mainly. There is so much competition out there right now and as it's less hurt on the wallet, and I have bought some cheaper kit. Yes, not as hard wearing, but ok to get around on those lesser days or on the trainer. it may not last as long, but it doesn't hurt at purchase time as much. As a father of three, these indulgences add up. I ride 300km + per week, road and mountain bike, I love your gear, but cannot afford to wear it all the time. I did have a discount code for a period, and at 30%, this made all of the difference. One other issue, the last Pro Bibs I bought, the MAAP branding on each leg peeled off within the first few washes. no other pair had this issue. rather than look tatty, I removed it. Sorry for the winge, but you asked! But I seriously love your gear!! Regards, David.”

“Dear MAAP, I really enjoy earing your kit. My pause for reflection: your sizing is left field of your competitors and is quite frankly disturbing. I am 64kg and 169 cm tall. In other cycling brands (Attaquer) I wear a small. In MAAP I have to wear a medium. The label itself means nothing to me. But cycling has body image issues. Thus a small person like me wearing a medium is an indication that larger people are wearing XXL. This has real potential to induce body dismorfia. Not to mention the simple act of trying to get the right size. I would ask MAAP to look at your sizing and make changes to reflect a more consistent labeling/fit with other clothing manufacturers. “The online purchasing of experience is always good - easy site to use and quick delivery. I should mention one experience that was really good though - my wife was bitten by a Patou riding in the High Pyrenees - her bibs had teeth holes in them (as well as her leg)! More as an exercise to take my mind off it I emailed MAAP and asked if the crash replacement discount applied to dog damage - immediate answer - ‘no problem’. Great company.”

“I was hesitant to jump into the MAAP boat initially. When I bought my first MAAP kit, they feel comfortable with the right fitting for me. I have not been looking else since. The customer service is also top notch. Highly recommended to those who haven’t tried them.”

“I have been buying MAAP jersey/bibs since MAAP started. I am a little disappointed that over time MAAP sizing has become more European. In the early MAAP jerseys I used to be a Large and the last couple of years I am now an XXL and they only just fit. My body size has not overly changed in this time period either as I am 183cm and 84 KG. I think MAAP are now catering more for the traditional small sized cyclist. I am also not a fan of the newer stying of MAAP jersey's which are more in line with other top brand cycling jersey's. The modern jersey's seem to have more drab colour schemes then previous jerseys. I hope MAAP start to go back to their earlier jersey color designs with the M Flag Motifs.”

“Always receive goods as listed when purchased on line . Love the Maap products as they are high quality and last! Would like to see the Gillet for sale have rear pockets as you need these doing longer rides to out snacks in and as extra pockets come in very handy for gloves and a jacket.”
