I ordered a dress which was too small, I emailed to check if I would be charged £5 restocking fee for returning & they said yes as it would need steaming & re-packing. I told them according to trading standards I was allowed to return an item within 14 days for a full refund so they agreed I could have full refund. I returned the item & as I expected was deducted £5 restocking fee. So I had to email again & they refunded the £5 fee, then I had to ask for the delivery charge to be refunded & they then did this with no conversation! I shouldn’t have had to ask for these refunds as they said they would ‘put a note on my account’. They were just trying it on hoping I wouldn’t notice. Ridiculous to charge a restocking fee which is not even legal! Will not order from them again.

Clothes are good and well priced, but, the return process is awful I'm still trying to get someone to help me send 2 items back. Customer service are not very helpful.

Poor quality goods. Returned items but they kept £5.99 back with no explanation. I expected to pay delivery but not that. Won’t answer e mails or chat explaining why terrible customer service and cheap quality goods.

I ordered two items. They were very poor quality, one wasn't even the colour advertised. I returned them in the same parcel, but had two return amounts deducted from my refund. Disgusting, I won't be buying from them again.

I tried to order 2 dresses yesterday but couldn't get past my query regarding how I return if not suitable. On chat I kept being told what the return costs were or I could drop off. When I asked drop off where? I was just shown the same message. The online ordering is truly abysmal. Oh to be able to talk or even 'chat' with a human being who can actually answer your questions. They state their online site is super easy. No, it's not. It's super confusing. Shame. I used to buy a lot from M & Co., but never again.

The quality of items online is nowhere as good as previously in the stores. The website is a nightmare to navigate. I ordered white grazer jeans in regular and was sent petite and unfortunately wore them once before realising. Now unable to return them. Having been a previous happy customer for many, many years I will never shop with them again.

As I worked for the original retail part of M And co. I hoped for simaler quality and service , unfortunately I did not receive it, First after ordering I did not receive any confirmation, The goods arrived and were nowhere near the quality, Then trying to return goods was horrendous, I’m just hope it’s worked,

I would never order from M&Co again. Such a bad experience from beginning to end. The main part was returning six items costing approximately £141 refund was approximately £87 When I queried this I was told only four items were received. The six items were in one bag. I have bought off the internet for may years , M&Co are the only company I have ever had a problem with. Definitely would not recommend this company.

Returned a sale item day after purchase, (rules are return within 14 days to receive a credit gift card) to b told I had to choose something from the store as there were problems with credit gift cards. I couldn't find anything suitable and asked for a refund which was refused. I then had 13 days to find something I wished to purchase. Very unhappy with this poor service I rang the M and Co number on the receipt. I was fortunate enough to speak to Derek, who said stores had previously been advised to give refunds until the gift cards were available. He undertook to speak to the store concerned to reiterate the temporary arrangements - then followed this up with an e mail for me to take to the store, which confirmed that I should be given a refund. M and Co are fortunate to have someone like him, who retrieved the situation following the very poor standard of service I had received in store. Thank you Derek.

Bought a dress from the sale rail at Tavistock branch. It didn't fit properly so returned it for a refund. Could only get a credit note as it was a sale item. I said this wasn't pointed out at time of purchase but was told terms were displayed on back of receipt, not much use as don't get receipt until purchase made. I've been a regular customer of this store and have never had a problem returning full price items. However treatment this time and lack of customer care will ensure I never shop there again

Just tried to buy two dresses. Gave up, never the right email address or password or loyalty card number. Went round in circles for a while, you’ve lost sale of over £60. So, OOPS (really?) won’t bother again

I have never ever written a review before, but I am going to write this. I ordered a dress on line. I have to shop online as my husband is on immune-suppressant medication and, therefore, very susceptible to catching illnesses (like Covid). The dress came and was far too big. The dress had been delivered by courier so I e-mailed M&Co and asked if a courier could collect the return. I was told that I would have to return it to the shop. I find this dreadful service and will never buy anything from M&Co online again.

I have been customer of m&Conor years but after 2 tops I bought both shrank after one wash . Still have two tops I haven't worn .so hopefully they will be ok.. but will be very wary about shopping there again

I was absolutely appalled with the behaviour of the workers at this place. I was just getting a new hat to spice my wardrobe up abit and the worker told me I couldn’t try it on!! I was FURIOUS - appalled customer

Returned Christmas gift to shop when it reopened with gift receipt. The items were too small and they didn’t have a bigger size. Assistant said the gift receipt wouldn’t scan. She scanned the items and they came up at sale price of £9.99p. each. £16.99p was paid for each item. I was cheated of £14. Very bad customer service at Elgin

Ordered outfit mid-April for my great grandson's 1st birthday in May. Usually buy from M & S or Next but having bought for myself in years gone by from M & Co, thought I would try somewhere different. Didnt arrive, eventually I went on site and my order was showing as Cancelled. Took a week for them to reply to my two emails asking what had happened. They said they had sent an email on 6th May to tell me it was cancelled (stock problem?) but I have never found one. I have been unable to check if they have taken my payment as yet. Now have to start searching for something else - but sadly it wont be from M & Co any more for me or anyone else.
