Sizing allo over the place. Returns no labels or QR codes provided, the customer has to print them and pay for return. Clothes look okay but look shoddy very quickly. So overpriced for the quality.

Browsing the ladies wear whilst heading for the food hall. Bright colours, gaudy for Autumn/Winter, all polyester/man made materials. Failed to see pure wool coats, jackets, trousers, jumpers. St Helens store full of plastic totes, handbags, shoes. The majority of the clothes won't last one wash, wont hold there shape, by next year theyll be in the charity shop. Why does the St Helens branch not stock cashmere/wool like Warrington? There are some people that live here that want quality and are prepared to pay for it.

I purchased a “Tiramisu” dessert. What a disappointment! One thin layer of syrup soaked sponge topped with a bland sweet cream and cocoa. Nowhere near the Italian original.

The Tom Kerridge beef pie was garbage. Dry pastry, dry tasteless beef with no gravy, only fit for the dog and even he turned his nose up. How Tom Kerridge can put his name to this rubbish amazes me. It was inedible. So awful that it has put me off buying ready made dinners from M&S again.

I can't believe the terrible service from M & S at the Meadows in Camberley today. I really thought that they were turning things around but oh my! Condescending, jobsworth manager not prepared to exchange a pair of £20 unworn swimming trunks bought yesterday because I had already thrown the receipt and the label by the time I realised they were not pyjama shorts! Not asking for a refund, just a straight swap. I Showed my Amex payment for yesterday but no! She would rather lose a customer for good than use a little managers' discretion. As it turned out the pyjama trousers marked at £25, were on offer and only cost £4.99 and I was happy just to swap them over. I didn't want a refund. So for £4.99 they have lost a customer of many, many years. Well done Marks and Spencer, The Meadows, Camberley! One star is one too many!

Would give no stars if possible, firstly a lady had an accident with a drink, she had to clean the floor herself, another lady had to pay for a portion of jam, the sign clearly said, toast WITH butter and jam, I ordered a toasted teacake which was delivered 20mins later, cold and looked very unappetising, Would I go there again? Never This was M&S Charleton.

Today I'm sitting waiting for my meal, ordered at 12.18 noon. Coffee was cold so returned It, told by assistant on till he would bring it over to me in couple minutes. Sat & ate my meal but no beverage as yet. At the last resort I decided after 1 hrs wait I would go & ask for it. Couple nxt to me had came in and ordered food at 12 noon two bacon sandwiches, at 1pm there were no sight of them so asked for refund. Supervisor served me my coffee, but then told everyone 45 minutes wait for hot food as no staff. Yet que was getting longer and assisstants were directing customers to tables. If M&S were unable to cope with the orders then it would of been better to advise customers no hot food, as clearly you could not keep up with demand for food. Young lady serving the food was having to appologies time & time again as kitchen could not cope with orders.

Today I bought a two pieces of Mark's and spencers beer battered haddock , absolutely awful...as soon as you open the box ...you just get this awful stink of days old fish .....but ah I thought perhaps it should smell like thiis ...so into the oven ot goes ...after the recommended time and temperature...it came out looking nothing like beer battered haddock, we love are traditional sea side fish n chips ...this was nothing like that ..tasted awful ...the batter just became a crumb ....fish was dry and tuff ....m&s charge £5.75 for this ... absolute rip off ...

Such a shame Marks has gone downhill. Quality of clothing is no better than primark. I bought 4 pairs wool mix socks last year, this year I need to chuck them all. They are worn out and I only wore them to bed 1 winter. Cheap tat. I have items I purchased from Marks in its heyday 25 years ago and they're still in good condition despite frequent wear. And the vanity sizing to accommodate gluttony! I've been a size 8-10 for at least 3 decades. Can NEVER find anything in my size because they now cater to ungodly gluttonous fatties only. Normal-sized people need clothes too, we're not all obese, lazy slobs. Why should greedy piggies get preferential treatment?

I have always been happy with marks and spencer customer service. They have always been helpful until you get what you want ...I am talking about the food hall ....and specially one member of staff in Marks and Spencer lakeside in thurrock called Parwinder ...who is always smiling...each time I passed by. ..and that she is always there if I needed any help ...it is so nice to still find people like her taking care of their customers ...

I love marks and spencer and have always shopped there. I love the quality of clothing but what on earth has happened to the sizing? I am 4ft 11” and have always had petite short which have been perfect for me. Recently I have ordered several pairs of trousers and have had to have them professionally taken by 2” at a cost of £15 a pair. Come on m&s cater for short people we are not all tall. I will now consider shopping elsewhere

Online delivery. Dress just scrunched into box no wrapping. When opened the dress had been folded over and stitched together. When returned to Colchester store no apology, was told we employ many people who have a bad day, then she said she hated the dress as it reminded her of one she had sometime ago…. Wouldn’t recommend online or Colchester store…. Both poor service, poo quality of clothing…. Its best to think of it as a cafe that sells poor quality clothing with disinterested staff

Clothing is shockingly poor quality. Thin material, inconsistency in sizes and lengths, seams not sewn straight…the list goes on. A very noticeable decline since last year when clothes seemed to pick up slightly. I’ve returned everything I purchased online this year and won’t be using Marks and Spencer for clothes again if they don’t get their act together.

Purchased 2x pk (lable on trousers also confirming that it was a 2part pack) of school trousers for my son only to receive one pair with the packaging all ripped open inside and waistline was 1 1/2 “ less than what it should be! Contacted M&S about this issue who were as useful as a chocolate teapot and did nothing but try to blame the issue on myself! I have used M&S for 25 yrs to purchase uniforms and I will never be using them again! Products are now made in Sri Lanka and it seems that the quality has diminished drastically! Call centre is absolutely objective to ensure problems are resolved and if you get slightly annoyed at them they hang up on you and talk over the customer! It’s been a lovely experience over the years but sadly I will never be purchasing from you again!

My wife and I have food shopped daily at M & S for years, it's been notably brought to our and others attention that the standard of the ready meals has dropped. you must have a quality control inspection unit, well its not working. M & S must spend thousands of pounds advertising with famous chefs, we can tell you it's not working. We have the money you supply the food get it right or we go elsewhere G Trickett

Flowers were delivered late and the box was upside up down. The flowers looked dead and in need of water. Think this is a service M&S should give up on. Very disappointed and angry someone went to the trouble of sending them to me for me to be disappointed rather than giving me a boast

I purchased a bra in May, and by June it was damaged beyond repair. I put the bra through the washing machine, for only it's second wash, and the underwiring became exposed on both cups closest to the armpits. The exposed metal absolutely destroyed the rubber seal of my washing machine leaving it needing to be fully replaced. I contacted customer services who initially seemed helpful, however they very quickly turned and only ever replied when I emailed asking on the progress of my complaint. Their 'technologists' decided that I had tumble-dried the bra (I had not) and that the damage was thus my fault. I tried to raise the complaint further, but they did not care, and literally said that a month for a bra to last was to be expected if I'd tumble dried it ..... Again, I had not! After speaking about my complete frustration with some of my colleagues, it turns out that two others have had the exact same issue. One had also emailed in their complaint to be told it was their own fault, and the other hadn't emailed because they'd had their bra for a few months and didn't think M&S would help.... I sadly informed her that she was right, they wouldn't care and wouldn't help! I highly recommend M&S bras if you have the budget and income to replace them after every wash!!!!
