Excellent Tom Kerridge meals. Great quality and value. The M&S fresh prawn curry was also amazing. Great to buy meals with flavour and such excellent value.

Absolute pigs as a company. Filthy, arrogant and living in the 1960's.

Quick process online. Best in store collection point compared to other retailers - very quick.

During the past couple of years particularly this year, telephone Customer Service is lacking knowledge of products and their availability (for example at a particular store). And also, it seems they don’t know how to deal with queries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism. I wanted to know if M&S have a particular organic green leaves available at one of their stores. Contacted M&S Customer Service for information, I couldn’t follow what the Customer Service rep. was saying, after a lot of toing and froing and insisting that I talk to a supervisor/manager, which initially was refused, insisted again and again. I was put on hold for a while and put through to a woman who was not interested to know what I was enquiring about, talking over me all the time and then accusing me of being abrupt and shouting, (worse than that). I didn’t get a chance to express my concern and she rudely ended the call. I was shocked that if she was a supervisor/manger not to be interested about my issue. I very much doubt that if she was of management level. “Very rude member of staff”. Very disappointing. Is this the way that customers are treated these days?

I was very impressed by the help I got from 3 ladies at M and S Chesterfield on Thursday 13th March last week. A manager called Lizzie, Rachel and Kirstie at the till. They went to a lot of trouble to provide me with a refund for a credit note I had which had become damaged and almost unreadable. I'm very grateful Anne Pearson

After checking stock for the local store at Newport Retail Park, we decided to go and buy ‘Poshdogs’ which were advertised at 3 packs for £12. We picked up 6 packets and proceeded to the till where we found no offer was available. When we finally saw the manager “Gareth” and showed him the offer he pointedly refused to honour it, just repeating that it didnt apply to this brach even though it was displayed on the site for that store. Very poor service, if its a mistake then the manager should honour the price shown. If its not a mistake then its false advertising.

I visited a M & S store for a birthday celebration food. I wanted to cook beef steak but I was very disappointed with the lack of choice available. Instead I purchased a Collection Butterflied Leg of Lamb and cheddar cheese mashed potatoes. After preparing both I found the lamb to be full of gristle and almost inedible. The mashed potatoes were not much better, there was no hint of cheddar cheese and the consistency was like that of chewing plasticine.

I have been an avid buyer of M&S underwear (as well as food) for years. Last week, armed with my voucher I was bought as a present, I popped into M&S (in Sutton Surrey) to purchase some new underwear. Despite being, what appeared to be short staffed, Kamal (from lingerie) was a stand out member of your staff. Although all other staff at the pay counter were also friendly, welcoming & wanted to assist. With my specific request for assistance- Kamal listened to my requirements with patience Then armed with this assisted perfectly, while remaining professional, friendly & lighthearted. I left M&S in Sutton, with my faith that excellent customer service was still alive!

I like M&S and I am a good customer, therefore, especially after my recent experience in the East Dulwich store (Lordship Lane) , I need to tell you something about the bakery department. The bread is wrongly displayed as it is set too low and with no protection at all. When people approach the department the bread is often touched by people's coats or bags.. it is not protected by the customers hair, sneeze, or cough. All the bakery products are left for hours in these conditions. Furthermore, two days ago I saw an employee lining up all the muffins on the shelf with bare hands, no gloves, no tools!

I bought curries for dinner as I really wanted an evening off from cooking. Firstly, the choice was extremely limited in the Omagh store. This is often the case. It is chicken, chicken, chicken and more chicken.... I don t like chicken and usually take a prawn option. There were none and I had to take vegetable korma. I have to say that it was barely edible: greasy, vaguely sweet gloopy icky sauce with tiny mushy vegetables. Unbelievably disappointing. Never again.

We purchased, meal to share Moussake, but we felt very let down with the quality of the meal. There was just I slice of aubergine then quite a few slices of potato. The flavour was ok but not a lot of basic ingredients. One thin slice of tomato on top and a very light sprinkling of cheese. £5 for the meal come on Marks and Spencer you can do better.

I stupidly tumbled whilst getting off the escalator with heavy bags on Tuesday 11th Feb. A quick thinking man pressed the emergency button and staff rushed over. Everyone treated me with kindness and consideration in spite of being a lady in her seventies. I should particularly like to thank Aston who walked me to our car ensuring first I was OK to leave the store. A delightful young woman who made me feel better in no time. The only injury I have is a grazed and bruised elbow. I was lucky. Thanks to all.

My mum and I experienced the worst customer service in Branch today, both members of staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. They were really impatient with my elderly mum, terribly disappointed in Marks! We won’t be returning to this branch anytime soon sadly.

I have returned two parcels via a Machine instore. There is no paper receipt, i was not notified they had received the parcel. ( When you return to a machine in NEXT you get immediate notification via text) . I called customer services who are not able to verify that the parcel is enroute to the warehouse for a refund to be given. Its a 14 day wait. However i did return another parcel on 28/12/24 and my refund was given on 04/01/25 so the 14 day rule did not apply then. Customer services are un-helpful and will not help me any further until after 14 days. I mean honestly what is going on. This morning i have emailed the CEO of M&S, I suggest he calls customer services to see the i dont care less response! It seems such an easy thing to do, pick your items/pay/collect? Prior to the machine doing your returns, when a human being took your returns this never happened.
