Very disappointed with m&s tinned chilli con carne...all kidney beans and not much meat..lovely sauce..but the addition of 24% kidney beans ruined it...

Had to return several items of my wife's lingerie clothing and a pair of my cord trousers. Their clothing quality is not so go these days and sizes seem to vary. Product designs and colours are often drab and best suited for town dwellers. Food quality is however high although a little pricey

Purchased textured gloves £15.99 online for chilly Scottish autumn weather. Found the gloves made my fingers colder. Tested by wearing glove on one hand only while out for a walk. It became colder than the hand without the glove. Simple heat gradient physics, the gloves transfer heat from the warmer hand out to the colder air. Poor design lacking insulation. So don’t waste your money.

On this occasion zero stars today I took a jumper back because of a fault which I have never done before the member of staff had an attitude and store manager who called herself Rachel insisted I had caught it but eventually agreed to give a credit note only after looking at me down he nose what a shame through covid sutton surrey food hall has been a life saver and the general staf in the food hall have been fantastic would give them 5 stars and marks and spencers are wondering what is going wrong in fashions with staff with attitude

Last Saturday 11th July I visited Marks and Spencer at Hayle (Cornwall) along with my son - we wanted to look for a birthday present for his aunt and then buy something special from the food hall. We didn't take a trolley from the entrance because whatever we chose from the clothes department wasn't going to need a trolley! Having then joined the queue to enter the food hall I was asked if I needed a trolley, I hadn't realised they were not going to be in the normal place inside the food hall --- picking up quickly on the situation, the young lady in charge said "you wait here, I'll go and get you one" --- that was way and above the call of duty and I felt I must make it known that she deserved to have it noted as giving exemplary customer service.

White oriental lily bouquet arrived on times flowers good quality stems are a little short to arrange properly. The fault was one stem is pink not white as stated, looks odd as an arrangement as the pink one has much bigger flowers than the white. Not usual quality I get from m and s. Certainly not as photo

My husband ordered roses for our anniversary which were beautiful the only downfall is they didn’t arrive until 5pm so would advise that people have delivery the day before so as not to be disappointed on the morning of a special occasion

Just want to congratulate Marks and Spencer on their excellent staff during the very difficult and worrying times (Covid19.) I am a 72 yr old pensioner and did a special pensioners shop at my local Kingswood M&S food store. It was a very pleasant experience, made even more so, when waiting in a queue a member of staff who’s name was Karen kindly asked if I needed assistance. A reply of yes please, was very quickly satisfied, thankyou, much appreciated!

Although I dont have problem with their food,I must say the quality and fit of their clothes has considerably declined in recent years. Why do the buyers assume everyone wants to wear a mini skirt and the jumpers are far too long for me at 5ft 1in. The fit of the skirts are perculiar and I cannot see how anyone with a normal shape can say they fit well. Years ago when their clothes were made in England the quality and cut were second to none.Sadly, the decline in their clothing reflects how their profits are suffering. They need to listen to their customers as I have often complained about the clothes. If they want to stay in business the clothing part of the company needs a completely new team with some fashion sense. We are not all 18 yrs old.

Decided to buy the Sticky Toffee Christmas pudding for our pre Christmas meal with family as we had seen it relentlessly advertised. As Christmas puddings go it was very nice but didn’t quite understand the sticky toffee part...it was just a sachet of sauce to pour over, disappointing. At £10 I think it was over priced, glad I didn’t shell out for the salted caramel cream at £3.50, would I buy it again, probably not.

I visited longbridge store today with my husband looking for a cheap suit which will only be worn for a short time so therefore wanted one of the £79 suits advertised on line. Unfortunately they only had black available which was not suitable .We spoke to Shellie on tills who tried very hard to try and order for us on line but all items were showing out of stock . Shelbie the called Enyam who spent at least an hour trying to help us. Nothing was too much trouble for her she literally tried everything she could do to assist and although in the end we came out with a more expensive suit than we really wanted we came out satisfied. Enyam gave excellent customer service and is an absolute credit to the store.

We had the current meal deal yesterday for dinner, Ham&Cheese crumble. It contained very little of either ham or chicken, the cubed potatoes were quite hard and the taste of mustard over powered anything else, even though it was quite subtle but there was very little other flavour in the dish to balance it out. For dessert we had the Tiramisu as one choice which was totally delicious and could taste the alcohol content. Our other option of the Vanilla cheesecake again was sadly tasteless and very dull. The minted new potatoes (side dish) were ok.

I always manage to find something in the sale rail for myself who is 40+. I don't find that in general at full price the clothes are worth it and you won't find me ordering at full price normally. The clothes are not stand out enough to wsttayfull price.

On the whole Ithink the Marks and Sparks fashions have declined over the years. I always purchased mine and myfamilies clothes from them, over a period of 40 years. I still do occasionally but in general find the quality and choice very poor. Today I called into the West Cornwall store near Hayle, I wanted to buy a ladies suit. The choce was very poor, and what as there was of a very poor standard. I wish I could buy some of the fashions I’ve purchased over the years.

I was in M&S Worcester store on 27th August 2019 and I had an assistant by the name of Wendy Evans who was extremely helpful and gave me excellent service, I was very impressed. All of your staff are very polite and courteous but, this lady went the second mile.
