Marks Electrical is currently in breach of contract for not honouring its contract to remove an old oven. Marks Electrical entered into a contract to supply new oven and remove old. Marks Electrical has left my old oven on my doorstep for 6 days. Marks Electrical has not replied to any emails trying to get them to collect old oven. Marks Electrical has terrible reviews from many, many dissatisfied customers.

Unbelievable experience. Ordered a replacement double oven and paid for installation. Never got a text about delivery the night before despite being told I would. Got two conflicting delivery times on the day of delivery, phoned them and was told they were coming 16.47, they came at 12. Lots and lots of threats of fining me if they can’t deliver yet they can mess me around with no consequences?? Luckily I was in. The guy then said my fuse board (only 20amps) and wiring wasn’t sufficient. Why not? The double oven I have was fine so why not this new one?? He wouldn’t install the new oven. I phoned to cancel the order only to be told that, on ordering, I had confirmed the fuse was 32 amps so I would lose my installation fee, £54. Who, apart from electricians, knows what amps their cooker fuse is?? They have now lost me as a customer forever all over £54 that they are not entitled to. Thieving scum. We’ll see how easy it is to get my refund. Steer well clear.

Absolutely shocking when there’s an issue. Don’t give a damn. So unhelpful and rude. I honestly hate them.

My order was scheduled for 15:32 to 17:32 (!) - time came and went. I was then sent an email saying it would be at 22:36! Within minutes it was rescheduled to 21:36; then 19:36 and then at about 7pm i was told it was re-scheduled for 18:36! I emailed them multiple times - limited response. On the tracker i could see the van going all around the country, it even past very close to where i lived at one point. I have no cooker and it is very hard to get in contact with Marks. Awful service.

The engineer who visited my property today turned off my built in main oven by mistake but when I messaged him to come back and turn it on he told me to do it myself ! Trying to get to speak to anyone at Marks Electrical is impossible. They say they will call you back but don’t and when you do get through for assistance they cut you off. I was told the manager Gillian Fisher would call me back (I was not allowed to hold on for her) No call back so had to call again (this all takes hours of being kept on hold) and still I wait …… Marks Electrical you should be very ashamed of yourselves and the way you treat your customers.

The item was faulty which isn't really their fault and the delivery was ok. Its how they handle the post delivery issues. 48 hours to respond to an email and then they don't answer the question or sort the problem so you have to complain and wait another 48 hours. The only real option is to leave a bad review and then "a manager" responds marginally quicker. I'm off to AO!

SO-1144469-20221130 Bought an expensive LG washer dryer during black Friday offer and when I rang up to reconfirm the order, their phone staff assured me delivery on Wednesday. However I got confusing emails yesterday about refund and delivery at the same time. Even text messages recieved about delivery around 8.07Am in the morning. Also they sent me email saying can not deliver and stock was not available in the warehouse. Really?? The same item has been listed for 250gbp more now. Customer service on the phone could not care much and had a worst experience. Funds still not received to paypal. So many negative reviews and feedback about their aftesales service. This is the 1st and will be the last time ever going to use this company.

Customer service is absolutely appalling it's actually a joke. I have been waiting 3 weeks for a refund that was supposed to take 3 working days. 1 department appears to not know what an other is doing clearly a massive communication problem. I HAVE NEVER HAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AS SHOCKINGLY HORRENDOUS AS YOURS!!!!! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM YOU AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND YOU TO FREINDS, FAMILY, COLLEAGUES!!!!!! If anybody is wanting exceptional service use another retailer .com!!

I really think Marks Electrical are fraudsters. We ordered a black Neff hob from them for £329 around two months ago. We are having our whole house renovated and did not open the hob till a couple of weeks ago for the templater to fit our worktop. When we did open it, we were so busy and distracted that we did not realise it was the wrong hob. We have a black Neff induction that we ordered from another site and only when we put them together did it click that 'hey, this is the wrong hob!'. We have rang and pleaded with Marks Electrical. The hob is still wrapped up in its plastic packaging but our tradespeople through the box away! Marks have told us that they can't do anything about this because it's over the 14 day cooling off period. However, we have received the incorrect item, and what's more, the hob we have received is £150 cheaper! They have told us they can't do anything and have told us to basically go away and take a 10% discount - which is nothing compared to the pain, hassle, time and money this is using of ours. We want to move into our new home with the correct items we bought and paid for! This is causing us a lot of anxiety and worry and Marks Electrical have been extremely unhelpful. We have photos of the hob and of the box and a video showing me speaking after the templater left, with the hob just showing on the side. We would have no reason to lie. All our appliances have a black glassy finish and now we have this random chrome hob that does not go with our kitchen! We are taking this case as far as we can, because it's actually fraudulent of Marks Electrical and the supplier.

Utterly awful and disgusting service. Bought a washer dryer from this company and was told we had 48hrs to report any damage or malfunction. Case looked OK so the machine was put in place and switched on. Apparently, customer service say that's my mistake!!!! The dent I then noticed in the front panel of the machine was now uncovered by their "guarantee" to replace damaged goods. Ive just been told because I plugged it in, I'd installed it and it had been used! How the hell do they think I'd see if it actually worked without plugging it in!?!?? I'm left with a damaged product which they refuse to replace. Buy from them if you want, but whatever you do, DON'T PLUG IT IN!!!! Utterly useless pretenders. Hope they're ashamed, I would be!

Bought a hob from them. Hob didn't work on receipt of item. They won't replace, fix or offer a refund because the hob was delivered to a commercial address. They have admitted they have the phone recording to the sales team where we explained where the hob was going and what it was being used for but they have explained that this is irrelevant. The onus is on us to read the full terms and conditions on their website - https://markselectrical.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.html - and not take the word or advise from their team. These terms were not sent to us or included in the warranty information received after the sale. You would imagine that a company like this would fix or replace a hob that they sold and delivered that doesn't work regardless where it had gone. But given they knew where it was going you would absolutely expect this to be the case. Apparently not. Terrible moral compass and probably the worst example of customer care I've ever witnessed.

Absolutely dreadful service when appliances go wrong or in our case, are not fit for purpose. Tinpot customer service who just fob you off all the time. AVOID this company. You may rave about delivery but what matters is the aftercare, or in marks Electrical’s case, the compete lack of aftercare

* No curtesy call * Several failed deliveries * Two days with no fridge * Cancelling will cost you Sitting in displaced living room with a empty space that the new fridge should be taking up, thinking about the suppliers I could have bought from instead.

Wish I had never ordered a range cooker from Marks Electricals, Supposed to be a brand you can trust, 1st day the van broke down, 2nd day they bring me a smashed up cooker and the 3rd day they apparently cannot find my order in the warehouse, You think that I can just take days off work and lose money to wait in for absolutely nothing, will be 4 days without a cooker now! They have no idea of customer service, Not willing to negotiate but would charge me £30 if I miss a delivery BUT they have missed 3 of them!

Dreadful customer service from beginning to end. I would give a score of minus 7 if I could. I had to stick with them as my oven was an unusual size I could hardly find elsewhere. 6 months between payment & delivery. I was told after 6 months of waiting that the maker had stopped making the gas hob that matched the oven... So now I have mismatched appliances. On top of that every time I called I was asked if I wanted my money back & cancellation of the order.. err no.. I just wanted to fimd out when delivery date would be! To top things off.. kaboodle which they use for delivery and installation, did not install the gas hob properly. It was not level. Never again!!

DO USE THIS COMPANY! They are not good people to deal with. I had a fridge delivered which the driver tried to ram through my new front door, causing masses of scratches which will be £400 to repair. They are now refusing to pay for the damage. Have had to chase them so many times but they have just passed me from one person to another and are now saying that I did not let them know in time. This is despite me filling in two reviews that they ask me to complete but never coming back to me and are now saying I never completed a review. I presume they delete these reviews if they do not like them I am fed up with chasing them, they obviously realised it was their mistake as they contacted the the company who quoted for the repairs! The delivery driver did not wear a mask, though I was wearing one at the time and the state of the delivery van was disgraceful very, very dirty, forget the smart looking vehicles on the website I think that this driver had no respect for me, my property or his van! Please do not be temped to put business their way, they do not deserve it.

Promise next day delivery, allow you to book next day delivery but then send you an email after booking (and taking your money) saying they can't book next day delivery for you. False advertising! Nothing to state there is a cut off time for next day delivery. Send you emails with lame excuses like payments haven't been authorised when it has and delivery/billing address is different, when it isn't just as cope outs to not stick to there offer of next day delivery. Attract you in to spend money by offering a service they can not provide.

We had the wrong dishwasher installed (honest mistake by the company) but getting the issue resolved has been a nightmare. After reporting the issue to the customer service team I had to chase repeatedly to get updates and was repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. When I finally got through to one of the managers, she said they're happy with their turnaround time with resolving the issue, despite the fact that the correct dishwasher is still nowhere to be seen and we're stuck with the wrong dishwasher which we've been told we can't use in the meantime! Will definitely be going elsewhere for future appliances - better to spend that bit extra and know that when there's an issue it'll be resolved without days of chasing and hassle!

DO not use this company. Terrible service and non existent customer service. Purchased a range cooker and cooker hood. Paid extra for 2 man delivery, removal of old appliance and purchased extended warranty. Cooker never arrived only the cooker hood. They claim they couldn't find it in the warehouse. ... Forced to buy a more expensive cooker and change the cooker hood yo match. Compensation refused as it was not company policy. New expensive cooker failed to be delivered again today (only the cooker hood was swapped). They cannot tell me when the replacement cooker will arrive despite several assurances. My old cooker sits in the front garden. 2nd day without cooker. No end in sight. Stay away from this company!
