DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I have been waiting 3 months for a refund on a product that they have received back. There is no way of contacting them and when you do get in contact with someone they do not respond and you are back at square one.

Washing machine was paid for and was to be delivered on the 9th of November. The washing machine was never delivered. After a month of emails and phone calls, no one has come back to me to give me any answers or feedback.

I bought Jura coffee machine it came in used stare , box with serial number of the machine was Ild used and opened , original sticker taken out and put again all corners hanging , grinder looked dirty . Overall I felt I bought machine from FLEA MARKET . Contacting customer service is pain . They have collected the machine was, told me that I am not buying the box with, told me it’s normal to be with fingerprints , did not ask to exchange , told me it’s will be charged £50 pounds but rejected me to return in person , since collection no acknowledgment of receipt or clear process on refund NO CONTACT AT ALL , no reply on emails or complaints , I have asked for complaints procedure - it is not existing , Stay away from that shop

Like other reviews on here have stated - we also had a faulty range cooker installed (cost over £1300) and they are continually telling us they are waiting for the manufacturer before arranging a replacement, which is going nowhere. Outrageously poor customer service and we are a month in to having a faulty item, with them not rectifying the issue. So stressful.

Open letter to Marks Electrical I am a landlord and have regularly placed orders with Marks Electrical and recommended the Company to others. Let me share my recent experience. I placed an order on the 3rd September 2024 for delivery at the end of October. I paid a deposit of £260.00 with the balance due at the end of Sept 2024. I rang at the end of September to pay the balance to be told my order was not on the new system. I rang again, after 2 weeks as requested, the order was still not on the new system. I rang again and spoke to Paige Bates-Walker on the 16th October, explained the situation and that I wished to pay the balance and arrange delivery. She emailed me to confirm that the order was now on the new system and that she had requested an ETA on the out of stock item. Another week passed, I rang again, the order is not on the new system and no stock update. On the 5th November I spoke to a member of the customer services team who confirmed the stock items I had ordered were no longer in stock and the item I was waiting for had not come into stock. I asked for the order to be cancelled and the deposit refunded as Marks Electrical was unable to supply the goods. This was agreed and I would receive a refund of the deposit within 7 - 10 days. On the 12th November I contacted Paige by email asking for an update on the cancellation and refund. To date, she has not responded. On the 15th November I spoke to Shona in Customer Services who told me that not only was my order not on the new system, but it had not been cancelled or the refund issued. Shona assured me she would sort it out and get back to me before close of business on the 15th November. She didn't. Today, I have spend 53 minutes waiting to get through to customer services (which is a misnomer.) I spoke to Paige, she put me on hold whilst she looked into it 24 minutes later I was cut off. Whilst I was waiting, I rang through to sales, they also put me on indefinite hold. I can only assume that as a Company you no longer want my business. I have now ordered the goods from AO, they did not have any stock problems and were able to deliver on the agreed day. Your customer services are not fit for purpose and I find it appalling that in stock goods, that have been ordered and a deposit taken against, are then sold.

Absolutely shocking experience, brought 3 appliances, unpacked after a week due to having flooring down to see the washer was so dented the door wouldn't seal shut, not plumbed in or used the product, got offered £30 compensation for a washer that is unusable, then got told I could send it back for a cost of £70 but wouldn't give me anything for it like wtf Then after speaking to Amy who has no customer experience in my eyes and is extremely rude and has no empathy. To be told no go to the manufacturer (for damage on their product they supplied???) This company should be ashamed robbing people with advertised as new products to be given dented,damaged and unusable products. Appalling company, no morals and pass the buck to the manufacturer rather than apologising and replacing the item they damaged, take no responsibility surprised they are still trading. Do not buy from this sham of a company.

tv was delivered damaged and unusable on Wednesday 24 October . I filled in the online form and sent photos. I also called customer service to report the problem and was number 30 in the queue They told me collection would be arranged for Friday 26 October and that a 2 hour collection slot would be provided on the Thursday evening..... it wasn't and nobody turned up on the Friday to collect either. I sent an email and got a reply apologising with the suggestion that collection would be the following Monday. @ hours later I got another email suggestion collection had been confirmed for Sunday instead. Needless to say collection didn't take place on Sunday or Monday and a refund is not made until collection has taken place. I called in again on the Monday and was given the run around. Later I got another email suggesting collection would be on Wednesday 30 October...... it wasn't collected. Since then I have sent to further emails, both of which have not yet been answered. I have called customer support today to be number 24 in the queue. This company are a total waste of time, they don't know the meaning of any level of customer service. Looks like trading standards will have to become involved. I would not buy so much as a kettle from them in the future

Abysmal customer service on 10th September I had a faulty fridge freezer installed. installers came back out and confirmed the appliance is faulty told to contact customer service back for a replacement 7 weeks down the line with no working fridge freezer and still no replacement. Emails & messages ignored do not get a response, 6 telephone calls to customer service only to be told each time we will look into it and call you back which no one ever does will not transfer call to a manager !!!! STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Do not reply telling me to call customer service as I am wasting over 2 hrs a day on hold only to be told someone will call you back

1. Marks Electricals did not transfer the info that we wanted a washer AND dryer over to our amended order of an integrated machine (our error in not ordering integrated) - customer service person admitted her fault in not transferring info 2. customer service woman promised to send through invoice so that we could pay additional fees to include a machine with dryer - husband spent 90 mins on wait time and phone call to request this last Thursday - customer service person did not send invoice as promised 3. consequently our new machine was not delivered on Sunday - also as promised 4. tried several times over the weekend to speak to customer service - no one available at all 5. Monday morning: another 90 min wait time on phone 6. Got through finally - woman said 'just a minute I'll check for record of this in notes' - put my husband back on hold for a further 10 minutes then customer service person hung up - we are wondering if this was deliberate? (I see from other one star reviews that this has happened to others too which is suspicous.) 7. Called again - 8. Just spoken to and complained to a worker called Dean -who made a note of issue 9. Spoke to a worker called Mo - very friendly, tried to be helpful - said that another worker Gillian had written down order number wrong and that he could not find matching reference for what we had ordered as she had entered it incorrectly- did I know the model? I did not and said it was actually Gillian's issue - only knew it was an extra 80 more and that it is companies responsibility to find model as we (mu husband & I had now spent hours on phone) 10. promised Gillian would find number and call back by end of day - (today) 11. this has not happened! Posting complaint in hope that someone will get back to us To be clear all we wish to do is to pay you more money so we can have a machine with a dryer included. We would like compensation for around 3 hours time wasted being held on the phone and of course we would like to pay and have our machine swapped as agreed.

Sold me a rubbish washing machine. Prevented me from exercising my rights under the Consumer Act. Luckily my bank refunded me. Marks was livid and sent me threatening texts on a Sunday night. They threatened to come to my home. Horrific experience by a predatory third-rate wreckage of a company. Grateful to my bank for supporting me through the distressing ordeal.

£400 oven came dinted. I already paid a £100 deposit to an electrician who is here to fit the appliance. Because of your incompetence i lost my deposit to the electrician. Now without an oven. I have a disabled grandma and kids who i take careoff. Thanks a bunch. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER! No help what’s so ever

Terrible company. Installed a broken oven, I have spent 4 hours on the phone, sent at this point over 10 emails. They are in contactable and simply ignore any effort to contact them. On several occasions when I have finally got through they have promised to organise a replacement and have then done nothing. This has been going on for a month now. Order number SO-1605512

What a disastrous experience. I received a 2 hour delivery slot. The email stated that I would receive a phone call the morning of the delivery to confirm some information. I didn't receive this call. I called them and waited in hold for 40 minutes. Spoke to someone in the office who said the guys were running late so they would arrive 2 hours after the slot and to ignore the email as they don't do the morning phone call anymore. When the guys arrived, I left them to do remove the old dishwasher and install the new one. The man then came and told me that my water waste pipe was broken with a big hole in it. This was the waste pipe for my dishwasher and washing machine. I had been running both dish washes and clothes washes that morning. If the waste water wipe was cracked before they attended then the kitchen would have been flooded. There was a small few drops of water which indicated that the installers had damaged the pipe when installing. They left without installing and I had to get an emergency plumber. The plumber told me it was impossible for the crack to have happened before that morning as my kitchen would be flooded from the dishwasher and washing machine. The plumber installed the dishwasher for me but this wouldn't turn on. It came on for a split second and then would go off. I called the manufacturer and called Marks Electrical 7 days ago to inform them - again I had to wait over 40 minutes to get through to someone. I was told I would get a call back, but I haven't. I haven't received a single call or email from them about this. A week later I have now had to pay for an electrician to come and replace the plug on the dishwasher as it was faulty. However it doesn't end there. When trying to fit the integrated door, they haven't sent the fixings. So I have a brand new dishwasher with a plug replaced and a door that cannot be hung on the front. Never again would I trust Marks Electrically.

i bought a Hoover HOCT3L517ESK-1 Fridge Freezer of Marks Electrical ebay site that did not work from day one . i left it for 4 hours before turned it on didnt no at at first that the temperature would not work at all would not move up or down i read the manual & looked on line & what was doing was right but it would not change from 6. i tried getting intouch with there ebay sites to complain took days to get a reply i even tried there main website no look tried ringing can not to though to them its just a night mare . now just been fobbed of saying get in touch with Hoover to sort it out but i bought this of you & was faulty on same day was delivered to me i just want it picked up & a new one or a full refund i wont be useing Marks Electrical ever again they dont really want to no you when you spent your money

Dreadful company. Paid for delivery and installation. Left the fridge freezer in the middle of the kitchen, and didn't take any of the packaging. I'd assumed they were just popping back to the lorry for something, but no, they just vanished. Also dented my floor while undertaking the delivery! ME impossible to contact and totally interested. I suspect the positive reviews here are paid for fakes! Avoid.

Watch out for these charlatans who will breach your consumer rights. Look up the consumer rights act, Marks is responsible NOT the manufacturer. You are entitled to a full refund if the product is not fit for purpose. Report them to Trading Standards. Get your money back through your bank, I did. Do not let these disgusting predators fob you off.

Shocking service after delivering a worryingly faulty American style fridge freezer. It’s was delivered broken and they try to get you to deal with Samsung which is not within the law as the appliance is covered by the 14 day rule and Marks Electrical are responsible not the manufacturer. Customer services are fully aware of the faulty appliance and are now not answering emails. Never come across a company like this before. Be very wary.

I purchased a range cooker from Marks Electrical, which included free installation. Somehow, the free installation was lost in the delivery notes, and the delivery team was as prepared to install the cooker as I am to perform brain surgery. This mix-up happened not once, but twice! Eventually, Marks Electrical agreed I could hire my own installer and they’d reimburse me. I sent them my invoice six weeks ago, but I'm still waiting for payment. The Customer Support and Complaints teams have taken up the fine art of ghosting me. When I call, I'm on hold long enough to finish a novel, and if I do get through, the advisor seems to have a talent for "accidentally" cutting me off. This is the second time I've bought something from Marks Electrical, and it’s been a comedy of errors both times. Sure, they might be a smidge cheaper than the competition, but with after-sales service this abysmal, I'd rather pay a little more and avoid the circus. In short, dealing with Marks Electrical was a frustrating, time-consuming experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
