Bought an item, selected delivery date, but due to work commitments, I couldn’t be in to take delivery..... they will not deliver to a safe place, or change delivery address, so your basically stuffed. I contacted customer service via email..... no answer. I phoned customer service on Tuesday, enquiring as to wether It was possible to arrange another delivery date, and was told they’d get back to me..... I heard nothing. I contacted customer service on Wednesday, and spoke with the same woman who told me she’d phone me back that day...... I heard nothing. Today, Thursday, I’ve received a text informing me that my money has been paid back into my account.... minus £50.00! The moral of the story is..... shop at a more reputable store who use a choice courier, as this outfit prey on the publics desire to buy goods cheaper......then after adding the requirement of a signature on receipt its £50.00 in their pocket should you not be in to take delivery..... easy money suckers!!

Disgusting behaviour and awful service Driver made inappropriate comments to my partner as well as other issues. Avoid. Ordered a washing machine, 3 weeks of saying its due in any day i give up and order a different one. A week later it is due for delivery between a 2 hour slot. The driver then harasses me via calls text and voicemail an hour before and then says he isnt waiting a minute past the start of the delivery window, which was fine. Next thing my girlfriend is calling in tears saying he has made inappropriate comments and then asked if he could come in for dinner. My partner has aspergers and this is absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Things are ok if there are no problems. If you have a problem Marks Electrical do not care. I bought a fridge/freezer with had 2 faults on from day one. After trying to get the manufacturer to repair for 8 months I formally complained to Marks Electrical who ignored my letter. When I spoke to customer services they informed me of what I needed to do to get a refund from the manufacturer! They then failed to pick the faulty item up. Customer Services lied twice about why they did not pick it up and said it was my fault! Eventually got it sorted. Will never use again and nor will any of my friends or family. Customer Services are a disgrace.

Terrible customer service. They delivered a fridge that turned out to be faulty from the start. Then lied about contacting the manufacturer, Who they say needed to confirm it was faulty. I had to take matters into my own hands. The manufacturer confirmed that nobody from Mark Electrical had notified them of a fault. 5 weeks later I still have a faulty product sat in my house whilst they tell me that a replacement is now on back order! After 5 calls to Marks Electrical and 6 calls to Samsung, I finally got the manufacturer to sort it out! New fridge on its way in 10 more days That’s 6 weeks to sort out being delivered a faulty product. Simply discussing! DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY!

Do not trust this website, you may receive a faulty goods, and hardly to get it to be refunded. There too many option for online shopping, for example www.ao.com, but definitely DO NOT SHOP FROM Marks Electrical Ltd

A WARNING about this company! When searching for a range style cooker Marks Electrical came out on top for price, I believe there is a reason for that! The sales team were great but the after sales team were the worst I have come across. They advertise £75 cash back, I have never received a PENNY! Its not just the fact that both cooker and hood arrived damaged but upon approaching the company about this no one returned my emails! After constant attempts to get some response i finally get an admission that the hood is damaged and am told they will refund me £7. They state that I need to provide them with the serial number of the cooker and they will have the relevant parts replaced, which I provide. I asked if these products were factory seconds and I got no response once again! Two months pass and no parts arrive. After numerous attempts to contact them I decide to ring them once again and they tell me because I did contact them quick enough they will not do anything about the damaged £850+ cooker. POOR AT BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE - NO CONTACT-CASH BACK A CON! - DAMAGED PRODUCTS-MOST LIKELY FACTORY SECONDS- do not buy from this company UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PROVIDED WITH SUB QUALITY DAMAGED PRODUCTS THAT THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR!!!!!

on delivery of Samsung washer the person who deliver it by accident scratch the filter door at the bottom of the machine phoned up and they wanted me to send photo of damage. but my phone is broken and can not send photo even though I have it in my phone but cant send . all I wanted them to do is simply send the new door through the post. as I have no reason to lie over this . I understand about the photo haven't to be sent. but being trying to tell the m about my phone having problems . I am quite will for some one to come and check this out . and did show other delivery men after the first one cords two leaks under sink that they came and fixed . I think the least they could do is send a filter door in the post to me to fix the damage that they done . in first place . if not solved I will be telling my friends about this on facebook .

Bought a washing machine and paid for installation/disposal of old machine. Delivery crew left wooden kitchen floor with nasty scratch and then blamed me! Insinuated floor was already damaged. Offered £50 goodwill gesture. Very cross and angry as I was made out to be the liar!!

Would have given no stars, but that wasn’t an option. Couldn’t fault the delivery, ordered Friday 5.30pm delivered Monday 7.30am. However, following a text from my bank it transpired they’d taken the payment 3 times - over £2.5k. Customer Services were rude with no apology for the inconvenience. I insisted a refund that day, but with possible bank charges for going into an unauthorised overdraft, Marks Electrical refused to cover - even though it could take 24hours for the money to hit by account. Won’t be using this company again

Disgusting incompetent emperors new clothes company. The machine is not faulty though their technician claimed it was the following day because he was too lazy to check the waste pipe under the sink even though he did take a look... Today a real professional turned up and zoomed in on the source of the reason why the machine is not draining. The blanking plug had not been removed during installation. I require compensation and refund for the exhorbitant installation fee.

Given a two hour time slot for them to arrive nearly two hours early and blame me for not being there. Apparently they spoke to me and I agreed they could come early?? I certainly didn't speak or agree. Shocking customer service when I phoned to sort it out. There was no attempt to rearrange delivery just a massive blame game "it's your fault", so I had no choice but to cancel at a cost of £49.99. You've been warned!!!

We was placing an order online a few minutes ago for Hoover DWFT413AH8 which said on the website we would get a 10% discount at checkout which it did we then added a warranty to it. We quickly looked at the terms and on returning to the basket they had removed the 10% discount. We phoned the company but all he said was it’s not appearing now and o don’t have a time machine very very disappointed with this company they obviously make so much money they can turn customers away would not recommend such a company to anyone

Dishonest web site and disinterested staff. Claim to offer free delivery to mainland England, it's a lie, they don't. They also manage to stuff review sites with fantastic reviews, but for doing their job, nothing exceptional. Their prices aren't exceptional, many other on-line stores match price anyway so it's only their service which would make them worth dealing with and their service is disinterest. I wouldn't trust Trust Pilot review percentages, click on the 1 star ratings to see how they really treat customers. I highly recommend not using Marks Electrical.

Very poor customer service. I wasn't informed that I would be charged £49.99 for my oven to be collected but this would have been free if I'd have taken it myself. Not impressed!

HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Although initial ordering process was easy the customer service since (having requested a replacement/refund of an item that does not work) has been painstakingly slow and resulted in Marks Electrical refusing to assist in any way. I bought a Miele vacuum cleaner but when I tried using it 3-4 weeks after purchase (only my cleaner had used it up to this point) I found it did not work at all on carpets. It merely pushed the dirt around forming clumps of debris. Having bought the item on 30/10/17 I contacted Miele direct on 23/11/17 who advised me to contact Marks Electrical. I have constantly chased Marks Electrical since then and was constantly fobbed off with excuses why they could not answer my questions/deal with the issue e.g. supervisor not at work for a few days, someone else dealing with it, waiting for a response from Miele... I was then told they would pick up the item but when I sought clarity re whether I would get a replacement or a refund they went quiet!!! Finally, after chasing again today 5/1/18 (6 weeks after initial contact) I was advised that as the vacuum had been used they could not refund or replace. How you can tell if a vacuum (or any appliance works) before you use it I'm not quite sure!! I am guessing that if you buy something from Marks that works and has no issues the customer experience will be fine but I have absolutely no confidence they will assist any customer who has a problem. I have only given 1 star because I have no option to give them none!! Extremely poor!!!
