After sales is appalling , order a next day delivery and get it three days later, following numerous phone calls and no compensation for days wasted waiting in for the delivery dates that the company sets .

I bought a fridge freezer that lasted 10 months....it now needs a new compressor. rang marks electricals and was told to get in touch with manufacturer. they are not liable for 10 month old faulty frige/freezers apparently

The worst customer service I have ever had. Dealt with mainly by Charlotte who never returned a phone call, I had to do all the chasing. Purchased over £1500 of goods the tumble dryer was faulty when delivered on Sunday took 3 days to get me a replacement informed Charlotte when you deliver must be 2 man job as it ad to go up a flight of stairs. Dryer arrived with one man only after me telling customer services at least 3 times to ensure they have 2 men to deliver?? Spoke to Charlotte who is obviously in the wrong job she shouted and was very aggressive and pretended not to know about my case even after me calling her and speaking to her at least 5-6 times. Sort your services out Mark I will be instagramming and blogging your poor service. Will never purchase again there are many electrical retailers out there who will provide a far better aftersales service if things go wrong.

If I could I would give no stars! I was delivered a damage washing machine, on reporting the damage I was told it would take a week to replace the damaged goods as no one was delivering in my area. I ended up ordering a new washing machine from a different company that was delivered the next day. Although I still had to wait a week for the damaged machine to be picked.

Having ordered a range cooker after seeing a video of a fully automatic timer, which was the main reason I ordered it, I found that this was not the case. I rang customer services, but since then the buck has been passed from them to the suppliers and back to them again. They say because the cooker isn't faulty they can't do anything about it!! They say they saw the video and can understand my dilemma, but still they will do nothing about it. The information also said that the shelves locked, which they didn't. They sent two sets of the wrong ones out to replace the ones I had until eventually they sent the correct ones. So the moral of this review is, DO NOT go on the description or demonstration video they give you of the appliance. It is best to go somewhere so you can see exactly what you are getting. I would not use this company again. They are very misleading.

Missed delivery damaged item Very poor service - use John Lewis price match! We ordered a top of the range Siemens dishwasher from them as they had it in stock we arranged delivery for 3-5pm. My wife booked a days holiday at 6pm we had heard nothing the delivery driver rang at 6:30 and delivered at 7:20pm no need for a days holiday! Then what do we find it's damaged! - eventually the discourteous customer services after saying why it wasn't her fault arrange an engineer to replace the damaged part (3 phone calls) - engineer rings, no part has been ordered! Another lost days holiday! A lodged a complaint and was assured a call - guess what... no call

The driver who delivered my washer-drier (Ashley) assaulted me in my own home. So far the company have been uncooperative about informing me what they have done to reprimand this incident and to protect future customers. The installation I paid for was not done on delivery, as the driver alleged a part was missing. When a second worker arrived after I had purchased the part, it turned out the old part was not missing after all. The second worker installed the machine, which was done badly so that the machine constantly filled with water. I asked for a third worker to be sent out to fix the problem. A third worker was sent out to fix the problem, and actually did not fix the problem so the waching machine continued to constantly fill with water. Eventually the manufacturer (indesit) was contacted and sent somebody out to fix the problem which was done effectively. However the company have yet to inform me what (if anything) they have done to reprimand the assault that the first worker (Ashley) committed, or what (if anything) they have done to protect future customers. An incompetent and dangerous company. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible. They confirmed delivery this morning and within that time slot cancelled it, moving delivery to another day. They refused to organise another driver/company to deliver today as promised.

I'm staggered what an awful service this company offers with none delivery of items, constant broken promises, unhelpful customer services team, never returning calls, being on placed on hold for a hour the list goes and I really don't to waste my time any longer with such a company. I would avoid this company at all costs they really aren't worth the hassle.

I bought the installation service when I bought my washer/dryer. When the driver/unqualified fitter had finished there was a leak but he refused to fix this. I had to call a plumber out to fix this costing me £75 and the company haven't even offered a contribution towards this. I was not going to risk them sending out another unqualified driver to fix this and waste more time, why couldn't the initial driver have done this if this was their solution??? The worst of it, they admitted their driver confirmed it was leaking before he left. Bunch of cowboys - don't bother with them.

I bought a Fridgemaster fridge online from this company for £209. The first fridge that was delivered, the door kept falling off. That fridge was replaced without any quibble by Marks Electrical and a replacementdelivered. 8 months later the fridge started to fail. I called Marks Electricals and they gave me the number to call Fridgemaster and get an engineer out. The engineer said the door on this fridge was also faulty and had come away from the fridge housing, he also told the fridge had been dropped from some height and was damaged. This meant my warranty was null and void and now Marks Electrical are refusing to do anything to replace or repair my fridge because I accepted a faulty item and then took 8 months to realise it was faulty! If I had know it was faulty I would not have accepted it, obviously, given I had returned an earlier fridge. Given I couldn't pick the fridge up, it seems obvious that I could not have dropped it. Buyer beware, I have been sold faulty goods and have no recourse to consumer law to put it right. Be very careful what you buy from this company.

appalling customer service. been chasing refund since 22nd march. now 4th may. office girls never at their desk, rude, never call you back. I don't think we'll ever get the refund. made 13 communications about this refund to date. NEVER buy from them. they don't deserve to be in business.

Nearly ruined our Christmas. Ordered in November with a promise the cooker was in stock and it would be delivered before Christmas. When delivery day came it turned out it wasn’t in stock, leaving us just a few days to source another cooker with 12 guests due on Christmas day!!! Absolute nightmare; communication and customer service were awful. Got a full refund in the end.

AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! We purchased a Belling Range cooker costing £949.00 from these people, when it arrived it was not the Cooker we had ordered. It did not match the photo on the web site, We found out from belling that this model was an older version not the new one advertised. We contacted Marks Electrical and spoke to a lady at customer services who, when we told her of the problem instantly had a huge chip on her shoulder when we asked for a refund. The customer service of this lady was appalling, there was no need for the attitude we received from her. They arranged collection for 2 days later and told us we could only receive a refund 2-3 working days after they received the cooker in good order. We took many photos of the cooker and when the guys came to collect we made them sign the receipt of collection to say it left us in good order which they were very reluctant to do. 3 days passed and still no refund, so we phone again. This time we speak to another lady, who informs us that it was not 2-3 working day for a refund it was 3-5 working days! So again we wait. When I call on the 5th day I am told at 1pm that the day is far from over and that I am assured by her my refund is on its way. We are now on day 6. I ring in the morning and speak to the ever so lovely first lady again. Who says my refund should be with me by now!!!??? She tells me she will find out what has happened and call me straight back (surprise surprise, she doesn't). So I phone again, the person I dealt with again tries to tell me Paypal is down and she can see they have tried to refund me but couldn't. So while on phone I check Paypal, all working fine now I inform her. Apparently she can't refund me as she is not authorised. so I ask to speak to someone who is, shockingly they are all in meeting for the rest of the day!! As we are heading into Easter Weekend my apparent refund is now due Tuesday of next week, another 5 days away!!! I have had to open a dispute with Paypal in order to recover my money I have an extremely large family (me my husband and 6 daughters) and no cooker for what it looks to be for the foreseeable future!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONE EXISTENT, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Future customers to aware that you cannot chose the time and date of your delivery! I've never heard of such a thing! At a time when so many companies offer collection points in recognition that people do work, this company seems only to be set up for people who can be at home with one day's notice!

Ordered and paid for my Fridgefreezer Monday evening, phoned Marks electrical Tuesday morning to confirm delivery time, was offered delivery the same day after 2.00pm, Great! I was going to be contacted at 12.00pm to be given a 2 hour time slot, I was also emailed to let me know my old appliance had to be disconnected and outside for collection. No time slot was given by 1.00pm, we emptied our old Fridgefreezer so we have food piled on work tops, then my husband (68) and I (64) drag the old appliance outside and wait! No contact by Marks electrical by 2.15 so I give them a call only to be told by the salesman who offered me same day delivery that and I quote " it wouldn't fit on the van, the van was too heavy" can we deliver tomorrow! I said no, I have a Fridgefreezer on the drive and food going off in the kitchen, his only excuse was it was his fault, a derisory offer of compensation (5%) which wouldn't cover the cost of the ruined food was only made when I asked! Needless to say I cancelled the order and requested my payment be refunded straight away as I needed to source another appliance, they seem to be able to take the payment for an item immediately but a week on an I am still waiting for my refund! A call to customer services to chase it up revealed the super salesman had somehow pushed the wrong button and my refund had not been processed, what a surprise. I now have my identical new Fridgefreezer from a reliable company who did a price match with Marks electrical only to find that they didn't actually have any in stock till February, so I didn't stand much chance of getting mine any time soon. I hope no one else has the same problems as me and if you do don't expect them to be resolved properly or get your money back quickly!

I purchased 20 appliances for some new properties. The items were booked out for delivery but the driver refused to off load them as he was not prepared to park his van on a driveway where we have several deliveries being off loaded daily. They provided a date for re-delivery but decided not to come and emailed me saying the items were not in stock any more. After waiting for 3 weeks I was told would get the delivery but they could not tell me the time until 7.30pm. True to their word they did but the delivery was for the following morning at 7.00am before my building site opens. The dilemma was their offices were closed before 7.30 and open at 9.00. So I could not let them know t was inconvenient. I asked them if they felt this was fair trading and they said it was. I rest my case!

Disappointed. Bewildered. The service dishonest. Bought finance assuming that the decision will be made instantly , however, after I went through application process was told I will be contacted in future regarding my application. Now I am confused: can not buy from somewhere else as already agreed to this one and do not know how long my application process will take. Now I feel down and unhappy with regret
