I ordered a knitting pattern on Sunday 4/3/18, but I haven’t received it. I am waiting to order the wool from you, but, without the pattern, I can’t do anything, so I am very disappointed, vera saunders

Hi Vera. Patterns purchased from our website are downloadable only. To access your pattern, please log in to your account, click the third option to view purchased patterns, then select the pattern you would like to download. This happened some years ago. I bought some acrylic/wool yarn from Marriner. The quality was extremely poor. When I complained, I was told that it was a a manufacturing problem. The reply was rather curt. No offer of a refund was made. No solution was offered. I have not ordered anything since this happened. Plenty of other yarn stores online. I have found that all have better customer service than Marriner.

I’ve asked for my patterns to be sent to me of which I was told that would be dealt with straight away and I’m still waiting so I would like my money back and I won’t use your service again

Please go onto our website www.marrineryarns.com and retrieve them by following these steps: 1) Click “My Marriner” at the top of the page 2) Login in to your account by entering you email address and password 3) Click onto “View Patterns” – Every pattern you have ordered will be here. 4) Select your chosen Pattern 5) Click onto “Download” and your pattern will begin to download to your computer. The yarn I received was not the colour as described on your website. I have emailed you regarding this and have received an apology by return to say that you will be hopefully sending the correct colour I ordered. I am now awaiting this yarn

The item was marked as dispatched on the Monday after the order. When it had not arrived by Thursday I sent an email to ask where it was. This was not answered and I had to send another email before I was told it wasn't actually dispatched until the Thursday. I arrived on the Saturday a week after I had ordered. The quality of the yarn is not good. I am doing a blanket with the Midget wool and the quality is terrible. The light blue wool has black fluff on it making it look dirty and the wool has knots in it.

Received wool in plastic bag, sellotape stuck to 5 of the balls of wool, also I ordered aran wool which had 9 knots in 1 balls. Made complaint, answer was we will tell warehouse to be more careful and wool has to be joined. Not at all helpful, will never order from them again.

Yarn took 2 weeks to arrive which is not acceptable as the amount I paid for postage was enough for first class postage. Customer service was awful when tried to find out what was going on with the package

First time buyer. When it arrived, 1 ball colour didn't look like online picture. When contacted, Marriner Yarns are happy to exchange the ball but ask me to pay for the return of the mismatching ball of yarn. The cost of returning 1 ball is £3.50 through my local Post Office, for a ball of yarn costing £1 ! I already paid £2.95 for delivery charges on the 7 balls I bought. Very disappointed with the response as I now have to find the yarn elsewhere and I am stuck with my project. I expected a better customer support.

I am utterly dissapointed and disgusted with your service as it stated online delivery would be 5-7 days but now i have been told that my delivery would take 21 working days. I urgently needed the wool for my sewing club project. I would only give you negative reviews

Well I do not know how you really have the nerve to ask for a review, my goods are still to arrive I have contacted you twice including today and am awaiting your reply I believe you confirmed my order and sent me a dispatch confirmation when not all my goods were in stock as your website now shows them as unavailable I will not use your company again

I never received my order. Hermes said they never received the parcel so couldn't help me. I phoned Marriner but the trainee said there was nothing she could do because as far as she was concerned, they had sent it. Very disappointed, this was my first, of what I expected to be regular future orders. I certainly would not feel confident ordering from them again. I shall be requesting a refund from PayPal.

I made the order and received a confirmation. A few days later I received a dispatch confirmation. A week passed and my wool hadn't arrived. I emailed and was told that they had cancelled my order and refunded the money. No body had got in contact with me to tell me. Terrible customer service. I don't know how I can get a confirmation of despatch for it then to have been cancelled.

I have still not received my order when I rang to chase on the 14.11.16 was basically told not interested as it was a royal mail problem and not yours. Due to lack of interest I will not be ordering again with yourselves.

Three emails later, 2 weeks in total, 10 working days and still no parcel/package. Last email sent last Thursday and no reply. This is not acceptable. I have just emailed requesting a full refund.
