“I have used Mariner yarns for over a year . I can not dispute the quality and price but the delivery service is no longer as great as it used to be. Now it is very very slow. ????”

“I still haven't received my order and I'm more than disappointed. I was going to order some chunky yarn to knit a cardigan but not now. Perhaps if I had ordered via amazon it might have been better. I ordered directly from a promotional booklet in a knitting magazine. Sent details to my sister in Birmingham. She was impressed but I've told her not to bother.”

“Absolutely unhappy with the way my order was handled and delivered. Order placed on 25th September by 10.00 am. Most internet based companies despatches orders same day, all orders received by 2.00 pm. My order was only made ready for despatch on Monday 28th September and finally despatched on Tuesday 28th September and finally delivered, only after nemerous emails on Thursday 1st October. Numerous emails sent, no satisfactory replies were received. Not all points in my email were answered. Spend many hours emailing and chasing, wife was totally disgusted and disappointed. Requested compensation, none was offered. Service on the whole unacceptable. Does not look like company values business from customers. Seems will have to find another supplier for our next order.”

“I am still waiting on my order that was supposed to be dispatched on the 13 july and this is now the 23 july so idont think your service is very good I emailed customer service but as yet have not got a reply back”

“I was excited to receive the Mermaid Maypole and Carnival wool and start knitting. I didn't think the quality was great but it was the multi-colours that had attracted me and they were lovely so I knitted 9 inches of a jumper back. When I looked at it in the daylight next day I could see random spots of white, it looked as though small spots of bleach had hit the jumper, it was obviously not meant to be like that! I emailed sending photographic proof and telephoned Marriner urging that time is of the essence as I needed to get on with knitting two little boy's jumpers as presents & explaining that where the colour changed in some places the two colours didn't meet and that's where the white spots had come from. As the multi colours are dark it's an obvious problem. It was the same on each ball of the jumper I've started. Three days have gone by and although I have requested new rechecked wool or a refund, I haven't even had an acknowledgement from Marriner of my concerns. My advice , don't purchase wool from Mariner”

“I'm sorry but your patterns are rubbish!!!They are poorly written, I'm trying to do an aran pattern it's just called His and Hers sweaters not even a pattern number to quote. Most arAn patterns have a series of panels so that it is easier to follow, not your of course, we are just left to try and figure it out where we are in the rows, I have tried todo this pattern mad it just NOT work out . I will never use you again, and further more would not recommend you”
