After rescheduling at MDP's behest once, the driver failed to show up on a subsequent day in an 8am-12pm slot. Although I checked in all day with dispatchers (who were all unfailingly polite) and although I was repeatedly given 2hr ETAs and promises from the dispatcher to call me back , I gave up at 11pm (at which point I was still being assured that the driver was coming). Rescheduling for 3 days later, a new driver did show up on time. Although he did complete the job to my satisfaction, he was unprepared for the the size of the things being hauled and it was touch and go if he could even fit them all in his van. Having left his tools at a prior job he was forced to break down several pieces of furniture by hand. I would go out of my way not to recommend this service.

Load Up company took nearly 2 hours to arrive after they called. Three men showed up to pick up the mattress set in a pick up truck. One complaint is that one of the guys went into my personal bathroom (which the door was closed) used it without permission. I know this because upon them leaving I went to my bathroom to discover the seat was wet and a bottle of cleaning supply was turned over. To answer the following questions: I couldn't communicate directly with the company, I did not have a number or email. This pick up was scheduled through the company I had purchased the mattresses from. The company I purchased the mattress set from (Big Fig) scheduled my pick up. I received and email from LOAD UP confirming the pick up for the day and time I agreed. The company never showed on the agreed scheduled day and time. I called (Big Fig) to find out the company wasn't coming. Load up company told Big Fig that they had tried to get in touch with me by texting me (my number doesnt have texting) that they left me a voice message, and sent me an email to reschedule the appt. None of which happened. I received the original confirmation email and that was all. Would I recommend Load Up company? No, not based on my experience with them before the actual pick up and when they did show up by using my bathroom without permission.

Extremely poor customer service. Did not show up in requested timeframe; then showed up at the wrong time. We asked six times what we needed to do for the refund. Told we didn’t have to do anything but go to Costco for refund only to be told by Costco WE needed to call Reverie to complete the refund. Reverie finally fixed the problem for us. They apologized for LoadUp’s horrible behavior.

Very disappointed in with the four hour window given to pick up the mattress. I specifically set the time for pick up from 8:00-12:00 because no one was going to be home after that. They finally arrived at 7:00 pm to pick my items up. This was after they called several times to say they would be there within the hour, we’ll 7 hours later they finally arrive. We also had to carry the mattress and box spring outside ourselves because no one was going to be home, so we essentially did most of the work for them.

Driver showed up to dispose of a KING mattress by himself. He had no help. He claimed he wasn’t told by the company that the mattress was king sized. I (a 58 year old) had to help the driver move the mattress up a flight of stairs. I guess I should have used Sanford and Son.

First, the man who was contracted to remove my mattress called in advance and asked if I would be able to help him carry it out. When I said I could not, he enlisted his son to help him. They arrived and told me their shoes were clean. I trusted them and let them upstairs to remove the mattress. After they were done, I signed the paperwork saying nothing was damaged (again trusting that their shoes were clean). Shame on me for not looking closer at the carpet before signing, but what I found was grease and dirt marks left from their shoes. When I notified you, your company refused to assist with the cleaning costs because I had already signed the consent release. Lesson learned.

0 stars. Terrible experience. Originally booked to have mattress removed on Dec 28th after customer service verified availability. Was called roughly a day prior and informed that the driver was “still out of town” and the next available date was January 2nd. Understandable during the holiday season, but this should have been caught during the initial booking. On the 2nd, there was quite a bit of rain. The sub contractor hired by Load Up (the actual company behind this web site) decided they didn’t want to get wet and thought it was a good idea to back their trailer into my narrow drive way. Due to the angle they parked at, when they pulled out after loading the items the trailer straightened out and it’s right side wheel were dragged through my yard. This left roughly a 10 foot long 10 inch wide by 5 inch deep scar in my front yard. It looks awful. I notified Matress disposal + (load up) about it and was promptly told by “Chris” that unless I had irrefutable proof that their driver did the damage not only would they not be further investigating for an insurance claim, they also would not refund me the cost of the matress disposal for service dissatisfaction. Essentially if the driver denies they damaged your property and you don’t have irrefutable proof (a full close up video of them doing whatever), they won’t make it right. They will happily call you a liar to your face and not even refund you for the poor customer service. File this company under the list of dirtbags who don’t really care about customer service. I’d be surprised if this review even makes it to their website. 1800 Got Junk is much better. No shady sub contractors, guys are always polite.

I wasted $100 due to the company's false advertising. The video strongly indicates that my mattress would be recycled. The driver who picked up said that has not happened in the Kansas City area in the year and a half he has worked with Load Up. Load Up, the parent company, is a junk removal company. They say they try to recycle. The fact that this can't be done in my area is just tough luck for me. My city waste disposal department will take a mattress to the landfill for free. This company would be fine for junk removal but don't expect recycling.

We utilize many means to accomplish this. For example, donation is also a way that we can help the environment and keep items out of the landfill. I paid for the service and they did not show up to retrieve the mattress. Also, they did not call me to reschedule.

Do not use this company. It sounds promising but in reality is questionable. I scheduled a pickup from 12-4 pm on a Saturday. I waited during the window, and by 4 pm no one showed! I called 15 min after 4 pm and the customer service office was closed because it's on eastern time. I'm on pacific time. Great. So I sent an email. They called me back on Monday but did not mention the missed pick-up, or apologize, or try to make it better. I explained what happened and asked for a refund and they offered $10 to be refunded. I pushed for $50 because I wasted an entire day, had to call them about the issue (which is not a good business practice), plus wait another week for the pick-up. The numerous staff I spoke to kept having to "look into it and get back." I've yet to receive my $50 refund. I had to wait an entire week to get another pick-up, and be proactive and call to ensure someone was on their way. Not sure if this person would've showed up if I hadn't called.

We do our best to provide easy pickup with excellent communication, and while circumstances can cause routes to be delayed or even rescheduled, that is no excuse for the way in which you were treated during this process. Had my mattresses picked up at my business in a retail shopping center. I'm pretty sure I saw my mattresses dumped behind a dumpster in my shopping center, very disappointing.

Very disappointed in the service I received. Had a curb side pickup scheduled for 4-8pm and they missed the pickup not once but the following day as well and mattress sat there for 40 hours before being picked up and was not offered a discount or any reduction in costs due to the complete failure to have the items picked up on time. My house is for sale and the mattress sat out front during a showing of my house which really upset me since it should have been gone hours before hand and instead sat there for days. Will never use their service again nor could I recommend them.

I am not happy with the service. Have a lot of concerns: 1. I was given a time slot of 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. . But the truck never made up on time and did not bother to update the customer that the schedule is getting delayed. I had to call the customer care number to track the order. The truck came home only by 12:50 pm. (If the trucks are not following the timeslots, then the point of appointment slot makes no sense). 2. The people that came to pick the mattress were not professional at all; rather they were just young kids, with very less professionalism. The driver was driving the truck right inside my car garage and was almost about to break my garage door. Why would a truck be attempted to be parked inside a car garage? I had to shout out loud to the driver to STOP. Never expected this from the pickup team.

If you can't make a pick up in a 4 hour pickup window than what good are you. I wasted my whole morning and the movers arrived 15 minutes after the window expired. Not worth the 90 bucks.

I was given a 4 hour time window and no one showed up. I then call the customer service number and I’m told windows are not guaranteed (buried in deep fine print) and I can reschedule - after I already waiting for 4 hours. I said I would like to cancel and they told me I had to pay a 50% cancellation fee. This company is absurd and a ripoff. I will never again use them for anything.

Unfortunately, this "insured" company does not cover any damages to your property or possessions, even if the damage results from negligence of their workers. Furthermore, the company states that any coverage to any damages must be worked out individually between the customer and the individual worker who committed the damages, completely outside of Mattress Disposal Plus. When my hardwood floors were damaged due to the workers dragging them instead of lifting, I did not receive any financial refund. Instead, the company suggested that I "work out" a deal with the worker who had damaged my floors. Additionally, the worker who damaged my floors was quite unprofessional and had no knowledge regarding his company's policy to damages on the job. If you must use this company, spare yourself any drama and have curbside pickup.
