I am not happy with the service. Have a lot of concerns: 1. I was given a time slot of 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. . But the truck never made up on time and did not bother to update the customer that the schedule is getting delayed. I had to call the customer care number to track the order. The truck came home only by 12:50 pm. (If the trucks are not following the timeslots, then the point of appointment slot makes no sense). 2. The people that came to pick the mattress were not professional at all; rather they were just young kids, with very less professionalism. The driver was driving the truck right inside my car garage and was almost about to break my garage door. Why would a truck be attempted to be parked inside a car garage? I had to shout out loud to the driver to STOP. Never expected this from the pickup team.

Wow, Vivek. This is not the service that we advertise or expect from our drivers. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the unprofessional way in which your pickup was handled. If you can't make a pick up in a 4 hour pickup window than what good are you. I wasted my whole morning and the movers arrived 15 minutes after the window expired. Not worth the 90 bucks.

We do our very best to communicate any changes with our customers. I do see on your account that we were able to let you know right when your driver was pulling up. Pick up was 3 hours late. I had to call 4 times before someone would tell me what was going on.

We sincerely apologize for our delayed arrival on the day of your pickup. Unfortunately, unforeseeable events can cause our routes to run behind. We do our best to keep our customer as up to date as possible when this happens, however rare that may be. Looking at your account I do see we were able to contact you and speak with you several times regarding the delays. I understand this can cause a huge inconvenience and is definitely not an ideal situations for our customers. Thank you for hanging in there with us on the day of your pickup and I hope you will give us another try in the future. I was given a 4 hour time window and no one showed up. I then call the customer service number and I’m told windows are not guaranteed (buried in deep fine print) and I can reschedule - after I already waiting for 4 hours. I said I would like to cancel and they told me I had to pay a 50% cancellation fee. This company is absurd and a ripoff. I will never again use them for anything.

Unfortunately, this "insured" company does not cover any damages to your property or possessions, even if the damage results from negligence of their workers. Furthermore, the company states that any coverage to any damages must be worked out individually between the customer and the individual worker who committed the damages, completely outside of Mattress Disposal Plus. When my hardwood floors were damaged due to the workers dragging them instead of lifting, I did not receive any financial refund. Instead, the company suggested that I "work out" a deal with the worker who had damaged my floors. Additionally, the worker who damaged my floors was quite unprofessional and had no knowledge regarding his company's policy to damages on the job. If you must use this company, spare yourself any drama and have curbside pickup.

The good news: The individual called me the morning of the pickup to confirm address, etc. The bad news: The individual was in his 60s, walked with a limp, and came alone. He defied his age in his attitude and actual moving stuff. His truck had handicap plates. I explained on the phone that moving a king size mattress is a 2 person job besides the rest of the furniture items. I specifically listed items to move and sizes. He said that his "help" did not return his calls so he came alone. By default, I was his helper-not a problem since I am relatively younger and used to physical labor. The individual has no business in this "business". Nice guy and he needed the money-no question on that-and for that reason this circumstance was viewed personally as an act of charity. Don't "fire" the guy-just followup with him and others on your "list" to make sure they are capable of doing the job. Perhaps any other customer would be on the phone screaming at you all and demanding a refund. Life is too short. By the way, your "pricing model" stinks.

Scheduled a pick-up, required to pay $140 before they would schedule, took time off work to be here. Company called to confirm time and items to be picked-up on the day prior. On day of pick-up, did not receive any phone calls or cancellation notice, nobody showed up. Plans to move a person into the room on the same day were spoiled, lost $200 in pay from taking off work. Called several times only to receive answering service, finally contacted human in some other state, she had no clue that they missed the pick up. I requested a refund a week ago and am still waiting for it, yet they demanded that I pay prior to scheduling anything. Poor company, no way to know where they are located, how to contact them, etc... don't use this company, better off using a local company.

I booked this disposal due to having a bed bug problem - it stated on the website that these would be disposed and not repurposed. However, apparently there was some "agreement" that I signed when ordering that the mattress could not be picked up due to bugs. The customer service person then stated that I could not be given a refund as I had agreed to this - the agreement and terms were never emailed to me - it was only when I sent her the information from the front of the website that she agreed to refund my money - with a not - sorry for confusion.

Brandon from Load Up was supposed to pick up my mattress Friday evening. I paid to have them remove it from the upstairs. He contacts me asking us to put it outside because he's going to get to our house after 8pm. We say ok despite having paid for the removal. He doesn't come Friday night because it's raining. He says he's going to pick it up first thing. He doesn't. He says he's going to be there at 11a to get it. He's there at 11:45. It's him in his Bronco. Next time I'm call CollegeHunksMovingJunk. They have always been on time, courteous and professional. Kicking myself for not calling them.

I never heard back from them regarding my order. They didn't confirm a time with an email so I have no idea when they're coming or if they're coming.

I have copied this from my Yelp review for the company, and I honesty have nothing but negative things to say. Please see below for full review:"I've never written a Yelp Review before, and I never felt the need to before dealing with this awful business. I set up an order and canceled it within 3 hours BEFORE they had even processed the order, but they still won't provide a full refund. The pickup date wasn't for a week, and no work had been done on their end, yet they still made money off of a cancelled order. Called and the customer service manager refused to do anything, and now I'm waiting 15 days so that I can dispute the transaction with the bank. Do not use this place!! The hassle far outweighs any benefits.

THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.That's all you need to know. I booked an appointment, received confirmation the day before, then no one showed up. No call, no text, no email, no warning at all. Just plain didn't show up.I called and emailed and went to their website and used the "Chat" feature to try and figure out what was going on, but could not get in contact with anyone. I received an email well after my appointment, but the email said nothing about why they never showed up, or if they would be coming later (or the next day), or even apologizing for the inconvenience. I would give them 1.5 stars because they issued a prompt refund, but I would still absolutely avoid this company at all costs. I've never written a Yelp review before but felt compelled to warn people about how untrustworthy this company is. I probably should have been tipped off by Yelp warning me that they pay for good reviews...

They were scheduled to arrive between 8 am and noon, and were to call when 30 minutes out. When they had not called by 11:45, I contacted them. They had to find the driver, and finally told me he would arrive between 1 and 2 pm. I said are you positive, because I had to find someone to help me move my other things (moving from NJ to Texas). They said he guaranteed he would be here by 2 pm. Guess who arrived at 2:45? Needless to say, my whole day and move was put off-waco, and it cost me a lot of money to find someone to help me move after they left at 3:30.

Never showed never called only answered email promising to call. I have to have knee surgery and did not have physical ability or transportation to move this mattress and was moving so could not put it off. I had enough stress with moving and finally found a friend to help and further injured my knees having to help load. All I received was a sorry for your inconvenience and had to talk to 2 people to get them to agree to at least refund my money. I did receive refund but would have much rather just had them keep their word to do what I hired them to do. Thank God for hero/ friends willing to rescue on labor day weekend!

Terrible Customer Service - bait and switch pricing. Was quoted $90 online for Mattress and added 1 box spring for an additional charge. I clearly indicated that the box spring is split - very common for Cal King box springs - I received a call that they were removing 3 items and would need to charge me an additional $30. Not only was this an additional undisclosed charge, this was more than originally advertised. Their website indicates a $85 mattress charges and $5 discount for curbside disposal. I should have only been charged $80, but overlooked it at first. Cancelled the entire order completely unhelpful and rude. Unlike a mattress, a box spring can't be squished into submission to fit through narrow halls and doorways - that is why they are split. I would imagine a Mattress Removal Company would be accustom to this configuration. The added convenience of the split box spring vs. a regular one-piece box spring for lightweight easy mobility, made me question their abilities to provide mattress removal service.

We were given a 4 hour window of delivery and they did not arrive until almost one hour after the window. Nothing but excuses.I also received two text messages which did not show who the text messages were from. This was confusing because I was also having a mattress delivered from another company on the same day. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I will never use them again.
