“I found the ordering process brilliant. The guy I dealt with via email, Harrison, was really helpful. The product is excellent quality. What let this down is the delivery. At first the driver couldn't find our address. He rang on the way and I tried to explain how to find us but he made out it was my fault he was lost. He then told me it was kerbside delivery. I was recovering from an operation so asked if he would just leave it in my hallway where I had put sheets down etc. It was just 2 steps from the front door. All he kept saying was no he couldn't. I even said I would sign something to say I'd asked for him to leave it inside. Our order was really big and extremely heavy. As it was raining I couldn't leave it outside until I got help. I had to carry it all in 3 days post surgery after being told not to lift anything. I understand the rules but his attitude was awful. Surely there should be a bit of give and take. I offered to ring head office there and then to say I gave permission for him to walk the 2 steps into my house and I would take full responsibility if anything happened. He could see I had put protective sheeting down. This man's attitude was awful. Not at all friendly. The only saving grace was I got to keep the £20 tip I had ready as we do for all big deliveries!! We've ordered from Skirting World and few times and spent a few thousand with them but not sure I would again. Its a shame this let's the company down as up until then they had been really good.”

“Used skirting world a few times always had normal delivery and happy with products however I have just put another order in and need it fast because sofa delivery didn't want to be painting architrave after it comes but very disappointed I had to pay £45 for fast delivery but as I trust this company paid it but will consider using someone else in future”

“I really liked the skirting it’s thick and good quality I got some locally before hand and you can see the quality difference between the 2 and it’s the similar price I’d recommend to others they also flexed the week of delivery to suit my project”

“The ordering process was easy and delivery was prompt. THe skirtig board was lovely - good quality, smooth and flat. The delivery was not good - my skirtig was left completely unwrapped and unprotected in a communal passageway. Had it been a rainy day, it was likely to have got damp if not actualy dirty from passing foot traffic. Annoying ly, I was at ome waiting for this delivery. No effort was made to contact me or ring the doorbell - had I not gone out to hook back the door in readiness it could have lain there all day and I wojld have been none the wiser.”
