“Whatever you do, do not use them for solid wood/pine skirting boards!! The products will arrive with cracks, holes and chips in them. They will first try to avoid providing replacements arguing that it’s natural for wood products to arrive defective. The first delivery guy also did his best to further damage them by just throwing them at the front of the house and not helping at all with handing them through the door. After being on the phone to customer service for over 30min, we finally secured a replacement. They then failed to deliver them or pick up the defective products as promised. We had to rearrange deliveries several times before anyone actually delivers the replacement products. Even now, when we finally go our replacements, one of them still has huge sections with chips in them that our decorator will somehow need to fix. Worst customer service experience ever. National Trading Standards needs to investigate this company because the way they try to tell you that it’s natural for your skirting board to have holes and cracks throughout and no replacement will be offered is criminal. If you want products that arrive as advertised, this is not the company to use.”

“This is my third time ordering from Skirting World and to be honest, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The products are great with an excellent selection. They are good value with lots of options and the delivery is amazing. Our delivery driver was off sick, unknown to us, so his supervisor came round and delivered our skirting board on Sunday evening, to ensure we had it for Monday. Now that is customer service. Never caught the drivers name, but from start to finish, this company nails it!”

“This is the 3rd time we’ve purchased from skirting world. The purchase was easy from start to finish. I was kept informed with the order from the initial purchase to the items being made and shipped. The delivery was excellent I was hoping it would arrive in the morning and it was. In fact it was delivered at 7am , I don’t think they knocked. I looked at the tracking when I got up and it said it had been delivered they left it in a good place”

“Excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the Antique 2 skirting boards and matching architrave for my home renovation, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality. Every length was perfectly straight, beautifully machined, and the primer finish was superb, making installation much easier. The service was first class too—fast delivery, well packaged, and everything arrived in perfect condition. “I'd never used Skirting World before or purchased this type of thing via the internet so I was a little apprehensive! My first thought was to see if it was possible to collect the material in person thus avoiding any potential foul ups on my part when ordering! I needn't have worried! The whole transaction from material selection through to order and delivery couldn't have been easier!”
