“Ref. Primed Real Pine Torus Skirting 144mm, plus matching architrave. Overall a good price and delivered on time. However I was left feeling somewhat misled by a female member of the office team who assured me that Skirting World Pine skirting is definitely NOT double sided……this reassurance played a significant part in my placing the order with S.W. It turns up and guess what? It IS double sided! She was either lacking in knowledge and bluffed (not good) or knew she was misleading me but guessed (correctly) that I would not have time to complain and have such a bulky product returned for credit and source somewhere else to buy from (no scruples). This put a real negative edge on my experience of buying from Skirting World.”

“First delivery was great. Communication good and fast delivery. 2nd delivery was placed outside my front door I checked the ring doorbell and the delivery man didn’t even wait. I was at work and when I got home it had rained heavily so can’t use the skirting board”

“We are a returning customer and have been gradually replacing our skirting boards throughout the house with the same style. This time we ordered 3 lengths and requested them to have an undercoat. One of the lengths had been the same design on both sides, ie. Not flat on one side. Thankfully we were still able to install it otherwise we would have contacted you, but thought you should know, as you requested feedback!”

“Delivery was hopeless. I was sent a very professional looking email telling me when it would arrive and I made sure we were in to receive it. I was then sent a delivery tracking link on the day, which was constantly updated to say it would be sometime within the next two hours. There was no number to contact them on. The delivery arrived several hours late and we hd had to go out. The skirting was left outside the front door on the ground in our driveway. The skirting was MDF and it rained. Then we got home and my wife drove over them. Astonishingly, the damge is fairly minor. So, all reasonably good except that the delivery notification system is rubbish.”

“I like to see what I’m buying in person, and had checked out what I needed at local big brand shops. But I was impressed it was £20 cheaper and in much longer lengths from skirting world. I’d be wary of any shop delivering because you might get slightly dinged boards you’d avoid at the shop - but these came tightly packaged with no issues. The longer lengths meant I didn’t have to mess about with scarf joints. Really pleased and will use them again for other rooms I’m doing up.”

“I needed to cover some old and tatty skirting and also the expansion gap around some new laminate. Skirting board covers covered both bases. The choice of style and size was good and being able to select 'primed' was a real time-saver. The delivery was fast and the communication was excellent. Pricewise they were competitive and I will have no hesitation in using them again for the rest of the house.”
