This company is hands down the worse I have ever dealt with when it comes to vinyl. I ordered two records at the same time as I did three records from Japan. The group from Japan had my records at my front door in 17 days from start to finish. I waited two months for the records from Merchbar and finally asked for a refund. I do not know anyone that has ever completed an order with Merchbar. STAY AWAY, FAKE SALES .

Stay away from these scammers. Have contacted their customer service and put up with a smug woman who repeats herself no matter the question. The where abouts of two albums ordered two months ago has to be handled by another department. They will contact you, never happened! STYAY AWAY.

This company is a joke! Selling merchandise they claim is in-stock and takes months to ship. They exploit social media algorithims to spam your feeds and unless you do some research on their reviews you honestly would be unaware how poorly they operate. Their backorder of out of production vinyls is so unethical. They fraudulent mislead the consumer into thinking an out of production vinyl is only on back order and you can pay for it and once it's back in stock you'll receive it. It's so unethical as Merchbar has no knowledge if the vinyl will EVER be available again. Of course at some point the consumer can then jump through hoops and over hurdles and cancel the order for a "back ordered" vinyl that was never going to exist. I had faster turn around times buying vinyls on ebay. Stay away from this company!

Ordered an item on preorder. After it became clear they had no intention of sending item. I attempted to request a refund from them and was told a ticket would be submitted. When I tried to follow up I was told they couldn't check status of tickets but offered to submit another. This went on for weeks but when I would ask to speak with someone in charge, I was told I couldn't speak to anyone else. In the end I had to request the refund from PayPal. Don't order from Merchbar. They are scammers.

Does anyone even work here? I ordered a record for my sisters birthday which is coming up in September. I placed the order on 6/26. It is now almost two months later as of the day I’m writing this. I followed up 3 times with customer service - if it even exists - and got no reply from anyone. Order status has been the same since June, no indication it shipped. I canceled my order which went to them as an email “request”… doesn’t fill me with warm fuzzy feelings. I don’t expect to hear back from them, so I will dispute through my credit card company by this Friday for a full refund. I legitimately don’t think this company has anyone working at it. I had never heard of it before but I was ordering a fairly obscure album and they were one of the few sellers who allegedly had a copy. Do not waste your time or money. I hate to say it but flaky, poorly run companies like this are why Amazon is doing so well.

I would rather eat my own eyes while they're still in my head than ever order anything from these scammers again. 5 months after ordering something, and they wouldn't have even said a word to me if I wasn't the one who contacted them. They'll let you preorder, or purchase something even if they have never, nor have any intention of ever actually stocking that item. Eventually, I told them to just refund me, because I was sick of waiting, and they responded with (I'm not kidding) "I'll forward that request to our supply partner, but be advised, this isn't a guarantee." I have a new hobby in life now, and it's doing what I can to run the lives of everyone involved in this scam.

They have never actually sent an item to me. I made 3 orders some I waited 4-5 months for. Canceled all the orders. Scam

Terrible company. It’s a scam. If it’s not in stock, you’ll still be charged. You’ll need to contact them if you want a refund. They will not let you know that your item isn’t available. But they’ll keep your money!

“Backorder” literally means they don’t have it in stock. They have no way to confirm if it will ever come in stock again but can still hold your money forever to see if it happens. pretty sketchy if you ask me.

First they won't let me cancel at the second day saying that they already shipped (i had 14 days, shipped or not), but they shipped four days after my request. Then the tracking is awful, the reliable ones say the label is still to be made, and "their" tracking site only shows a packaged bouncing around and never saying where, and has passed weeks since the last update. Of course, they are refusing refund, always showing me that ghost bouncing and saying that they will refund after 30 working days, that have already passed and when i say it they will ignore and show me again the site (that proves what i say...).

0 Stars honestly. Found a record on their site labelled as back-ordered. When it never shipped, I looked around to see if i could find somewhere else that had it in stock. Turns out this vinyl has never existed, and is not planned for any pressing or pre-order. Seems like this company just takes your money and hopes you forget you ordered something long enough that they can claim they no longer have a record of your order and can't give a refund.

Terrible company with the WORST shipping. Look elsewhere for your vinyl needs. They use the cheapest form of shipping...the package bounces around from facility to facility before ever reaching its destination. The order was processed in a couple of days which is the good. The bad...it's taken over two weeks and it still hasn't landed when the package only had to go from Oregon to California. It's bounced from facility to facility in my backyard basically but still not delivered. Customer service is a joke and a bunch of canned responses. Wish I would have read these reviews before placing an order. STAY AWAY!!! Much better places to buy vinyl with quicker shipping and actual customer service.

I have yet to receive my order for 3 cds,it's been over two months now,and money has been taken out of my bank account...this is very poor,dishonest and if you don't send the goods I have paid for or refund my money,its stealing....you should be downright ashamed of yourselves for treating people like this.. When a customer buys something you be honest enough to send the item they paid for, or refund their money if the items no longer in stock..

I placed an order on 6/25/22 for an item on back order that said it would take up to 8 weeks. After 3 months, I contacted support to check the status. Support said they had no information. I exchanged a couple messages and got nowhere. This was the final reply: “Our apologies, the item is still on backorder and we don't have further information about the ship date. We can't also contact the merchandise provider as we only have the same information.” After 6 months, I contacted support to check the status. Support said my order was cancelled. Though they never refunded my money. They said the item was on back order and would take up to 8 weeks. They asked if they should reorder the item for me or process a refund. I asked for a supervisor and asked him to check with the supplier. Same answer. I still wanted the item, but was told they couldn’t reorder it for me. I received a refund and a $5 off code. Then I could reorder it. I exchanged several messages with support and supervisor about this item being on perpetual back order for 6 months and how they could keep my money for 6 months and cancel my order without alerting me. Supervisor told me: “For your information, we do not monitor the status of an order once it is placed. We are only notified of the problem once the customer or supplier has contacted us about it.” It's been over a week since I contacted support and on their Website, the item is still on back order for up to 8 weeks. I expect that if I check back in 8 weeks the item will still be back ordered for 8 weeks. So I’m taking my business elsewhere. How does a company do business like this???

Cancellation is Not Allowed Placed an order at 7:48 Sunday morning (12/11/22). Immediately sent in a cancellation when I realized what I ordered was the lesser version of what my husband wanted (single lp vs 4 lp set). Immediately canceled and received the automated reply at 7:50. Two minutes! Got an actual human reply at 9:07 that they would ‘try’ to cancel the order. They didn’t try anything at all - the order was not shipped until about 2 am on 12/13. Now they say it is not returnable because it is vinyl. This company is only after your money, and hopefully they won’t stay in business long pulling these scams.

I ordered two albums as a gift, different from each other, and they sent two of the same. When I contacted them to discuss recourse they said it was my system. The only offer to remedy was I ask the person who received the gift to mail them back on their dime. Not worth the risk or hassle, there are better options to shop than Merchbar.

They're racist, transphobic, and homophobic. If you order from a queer artist, they will keep your order on "back order" for half of a year, and if you complain too much or ask questions, they will cancel your order, even if you say not to. I will never buy from them again.
