I see it has happened to someone else using the same bank machine in dumaguete maybe its ok for a metro atm to take 10000 peso from whoever but I do believe it is illegal and should be corrected

Despite my expertise, I was duped into registering on their fraudulent website. They won't return the money they stole from me. They have nothing to show you when you ask to view any business records or policies. Please contact "Conceptstrd/com" if you have already fell for this or any other scam. You must get in contact with the "Conceptstrd/com" recovery company in order to submit a claim and receive payment. Their professionals will assist you in getting your whole profit and money back in a matter of days.

I used a bank machine and ask to pull out 10000 peso as the machine kept counting money it never gave me any money said it had insufficient funds and would give me money shortly yet it never gave me any money but withdraw money from my bank account in Canada anyway. I am not sure what to do as it is a bit of money to lose.

Terrible bank, do not ring back, do not answer emails, every time you ring you have to explain again as they appear to not keep records of calls. I am still waiting for a response after 3 weeks and 6 phone calls and 2 emails.

Tried to open a 18 month bond. I had been a customer of the bank a few years ago and I thought there would no issues. Oh really! Status, no problem its Retired Job Title? eh? Monthly salary after tax? what! I had to fill in these fields that don't apply, why I am retired? I want to invest a lump sum, not ask for a loan. This went on with my identity documents a photo of me via the Laptap camera and them being "verified", eventually computer said "No" as the joke went and I was refused! Well done Metro Bank you just lost a lump sum that I wanted to invest with you!

Honestly worst bank in existences they literally restricted my account because I transferred my own self £200 with an account with same name I know it’s absolutely ridiculously stupid it’s now been three weeks they don’t dare to Update me or try help me even when I go into the branch to redrawn benefits they say they need to wait for authorisation and don’t ever call me back so my time is wasted going to the bank as I can’t even redrawn benefits so basically as past three weeks and counting I have been going hungry and freezing with cold even became unwell as I can’t pay my bills or buy food because metro bank can’t sort out this bad situation they have put me under if I could sue them I would if they ever do get around to actually sorting out this problem that should not have been done in the first place I can’t wait to Leave this terrible bank

Fantastic. For me Best bank on earth I've been with Metro Bank since 2015. Top class services: beautiful clean marbled branches. Free hot drinks. Water for pets. Umbrella for rainy days. no fees for stuff other banks charge for. Fast account opening and transactions. I received my bankcard same day I signed up. Constantly seeking customers best interest. I remember running out of money and going into a London branch and the manager gave me free money to take train home. Amazing staff. They got Education and Entertainment for kids banking and today my daughter's are money savvy because of them. My personal Observation? Metro is an amazing David versus Goliath story that changed the banking industry for good. 1st UK bank in 200 years defying the big old monopolies Do you Remember high banking charges and grumpy bank staff?? It was Metro Bank that changed all of that.. It's because of them, your banking institution had to upgrade their services and lower exhorbitant charges. but I find older banks institutions jealousy tried to undermine them but I pray this will win well for Metro. They deserve all our applause and support!

I cancel direct debit for onecall insurance because the renewed my policy without my concent and doubled my premium.i phoned Metrobank and they assured me know payment would be made to them and I diyneed to change my bank card.2months later onecall took £83,from my account it's impossible to contact the insurance company by phone and there's no way to contact them I've told the bank so many times and they ask me for proof of my cancellation even though I never renewed.my policy the worst customer service ever they was told not to pay them but they did

Very poor service at the Epsom Branch. Two staff members attending to one customer. This took place twice and when I later checked they had no staff to be trained amongst them. So this mean they all were fully trained staff. I was there for over 2 hours to access my safe deposit box. Disgusting to watch.

My card was blocked without any notice! I can't pay for anything today!!! No explanations!! I am now in Europe with no access to my card + no access to my phone number, to calling metro bank support for help unfortunately they are not able to help, I feel like they are not qualified for help! Super unhappy with customer service outside UK 🇬🇧

Poor system when it comes to buying a load. Even now I wasn't able to receive it yet It's ony small amount however delays might affect your customer's time and you should also hire 24/7 chat support . Customer will not waste their time to just give you a call.

My card and account was blocked without any notice! I can't pay for anything today!!! No explanations!! They just said that security team will call me. I asked when, they said that they DONT KNOW!!!!!!!!! So sitting and waiting for their call! Awful service.

Worst bank, has a garbage customer service...the branch officer here in ortigas avenue branch has no courtesy amd asked me to print the needed requirements and worse theh close at 4 and i have to wait for my e ployers bank approval, wont let me open an account...nothing like bdo and bpi...worst bank that i have transacted

Terrible service, daughter had a suspicious transaction on her account and wasn't contacted, they instead blocked the card and made released the monies 2 days later!!! When I contacted them they admitted it was a suspicious transaction but couldn't explain why they still paid it and wouldn't issue a refund

BEWARE. THEY DO NOT LET YOU WITHDRAW YOUR MONEY! I understand this bank does not have branches in all cities. This bank is not accepted at local post offices either. So you have to go to pay to use ATMs or go into town. As a disabled person these limited ways of withdrawing cash were causing issues as I wanted more than the maximum daily limit (£300) in one go. So I called the customer service line and received the all clear for a “large” cash withdrawal - I do not class £1000 as a large withdrawal. However, I had to withdraw the money in 5-10 minutes. I told the representative I was not near a bank that day. I was told to call back when I was outside the bank/ATM and wanted to withdraw the money. Two days later I did just that. The first representative had me explain the situation. I was then passed to her colleague. Where no information was passed on and I had to repeat myself. I was told it would be a two minute call. 30 minutes later I still have the extremely unhelpful representative asking me to hold and asking for a second time why I want to make “such a large withdrawal”. I was stood in the bank, not good for my disability after several failed spinal fusions and a chronic pain sufferer. The representative was not in any way empathetic to the fact I had special assistance on my file. He did not increase my withdrawal limit. He would not put me onto a manager. Absolutely livid I drove home, frozen food thawing due to the amount of time spent on the phone to metro at a bank where I could withdraw the monies securely. I called “customer service” again - I use this term loosely for this “bank”. I request to speak to a manager. After 20 minutes I’m told I can speak to a supervisor not a manager. I said that I wanted to speak to a manager to make a formal complaint about staff withholding MY money. So I then ask to close my account. I’m then asked “why”… Seriously? - they can see my notes and brief exchanges with the current advisor. I’m then told the current advisor cannot do this, I’d have to be put through to a different department. Whilst on the phone to this authoritarian money withholding pathetic excuse of a bank I’m on my laptop opening a new account. I find they can switch my account and will pay me to do so. So I put the phone down whilst holding for the closure department and do a switch online - with a real bank that lets me have a daily limit of £1000 if I want it, no 5-10 minute window to get my cash and single use. My message to everyone about this institution is to avoid them. Your money is not safe here. The fact they don’t want you to withdraw cash proves that. TO METRO - IT IS MY MONEY IF I WANT TO WITHDRAW IT AND SET IT FIRE THAT IS MY BUSINESS NOT YOURS. HOW DARE YOU! DISGUSTING!
