Ordered items online with promise to deliver in 8days but 8 days later no sign of the order, no tracking number or any suggestion that order has been dispatched. Every other day a dodgy text asking me for patience 🙄 I have tried to cancel the order firstly via phone call but was told they "can't cancel millets order" I then emailed customer service, instead just cancelling as per my request I received an unprofessional email begging me to give them more time to deliver the order!!! I then send another email telling them No!! to their suggestion and I haven't heard from them since !! AVOID AVOID!!!! I would give a zero star rating if I could!!

If I could give zero I would If I could give zero I would. Ordered 2 air beds - money taken but only one arrived. Box was bartered - clearly been returned. Number on website does not work ended up calling Blacks to get assistance who initially said could not return unless faulty. As guessed item was faulty. Company should be ashamed sending out items during COVID i this condition.

I don’t want to spend anymore time over the shambles that this company appears to be in. I will never trade with them again and am keeping my fingers crossed over a promised refund on non delivered goods. It is perhaps time that the Directors come clean with Trading Standards with their possible problems rather than go down the tubes as a consequence of poor customer service reports.

Absolutely dreadful experience from Millets. I ordered two hats for my husband who has recently had a grade 4 brain tumour removed. One item was delivered but not the size I ordered. The other item was not delivered and customer care could not tell me when delivery might be. I asked them to cancel the item as I was unhappy with Millets service. They asked me to return the wrong sized item which I went out of my way to do and that they would take care of everything else and issue a refund. I have email confirmation of this. I have now just had email notification that the other item I had cancelled has been dispatched and will be delivered. I have been on the phone to customer care again but they say they can't do anything about this and that I have to now also return the other item as well. This company is a shambles. I strongly suggest you shop elsewhere.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Millets sent me my item but it wasn’t the colour that I ordered, I contacted them to let them know and also to try and arrange an exchange. I was advised that they did not do exchanges and I should sent the item back to receive a refund. I spent around 4-5 days emailing back and forth to try and resolve the issue, it wasn’t my fault that their warehouse had sent the incorrect item and so I couldn’t understand why they weren’t able to offer an exchange on this occasion. Alongside emailing, I contacted them on Twitter but again nobody wanted to resolve the issue. I ended up having to call their customer helpline and was basically told that they wouldn’t exchange the item for me and that I needed to send it back if I wanted a refund. Also, if I was still interested in the item that I should order it again. The customer service agent called me by the wrong name on 6 occasions, it was funny the first time and I was able to laugh about it but it was actually very rude after that. He wasn’t listening to me, helping me or resolving my issue. I was sent an address label to return my item. I returned my item and left it over a week without hearing anything, upon checking my tracking information I discovered the parcel was delivered 2 days after it was posted. I contacted millets on Twitter to try and find out if I was going to get an exchange as requested or if they were refunding. (I had been told on several occasions they did not do exchanges but was advised on the phone that the warehouse may exchange it for me if they put a note on my account) They asked me to verify where I had sent the parcel as it had been returned to JD sports, I told them it was posted back with the address label they supplied. This was the last straw and I phoned to speak to somebody, I was on the phone for 20 minutes and got a refund. I will never shop with millets again.

My husband ordered a jacket for me for Christmas it was a present. He was told it was dispatched. But it never arrived. He has emailed millets constantly. And not got any further along he said he wanted a refund about a month ago and still hasn't received one. He's being fobbed off constantly and passed from one person to another all promising to sort it out and doing anything. We can't tell you how disgusted and disappointed we are with your company. We think we have been more than patience how long does it take to actually do a refund. Still waiting??? We will definitely not be recommending milliets to anybody. And suggest you get your act together. Your after service is diabolical. I have the same jacket to return when the shop opens because its to small. That will be interesting I brought that 16th December. From the shop. And told I would get full refund in the shop. Watch this space. Disgruntled costumers.

I ordered my items the middle of January 2021.I got in touch with customer service and was told there was a IT issue and that department was dealing with it. Still waiting for my order to be dispatched until a few days ago and I had an email to say that I was having a refund. I did not want the refund but the items that I ordered because the items was in the sales. I have sent an email and the customer service team just don't answer the questions that I have asked. The customer service For this company are absolutely rubbish. The company has had my payment since middle of January and had no intention of sending me my items. Do not order from this company!!!!!!

I ordered a pair a Of walking trousers and the money was immeadialty take from my account. Two weeks later I chased the order. The track and trace system does not work. I was then informed that Millets had cancelled the order. But at that point had not processed a refund. They would then start the refund process which might take up to five days. Seven days later I have just contacted them again. Once again they are going to process a refund which now may take up to twenty one days. This is deplorable service. No wonder google reviews and trust pilot are lambasting the company.

Ordered a pair of Brasher Brown walking trousers in Autumn last year. After six months. First time they sent me a jacket, then trousers in green and just recently, green again. I'm thinking they've got something against me. I won't be using Millets again.

Poor after sales. They just want your money. Poor service and no sign of my refund for faulty goods. I ordered a £30 rain cover for a child carrier for delivery. The item that arrived had clearly been previously opened. The item was damaged so I arranged for a return and refund. The first postage label they sent was not accepted by the courier company. I complained and received another returns label. This one was accepted and returned to Millets. I contacted Millets customer care team to enquire after my refund. I was told it takes 14 days for a refund. It has now been over 21 days with no sign of a refund. Every time I email them I get asked for to provide them some form of proof. 1st it was order number and delivery address, this was in the text of my original email. Then proof of postage. They sent me the label. I have provided this and proof of postage. I was sent a link to provide feedback but when I tried to leave feed back it would not allow me to saying ‘ticket closed’. I am still waiting for my money back on an item that was damaged and clearly not new. All I am getting is reply’s is asking for more information. At least they are replying now I suppose. S ODonovan

Very poor communication - won't buy here again! Placed an order for 4 items on 31/01/21. Order arrived today (04/02/21) but with only 2 of the 4 items. Contacted Millets Customer Services Team and was told that the other 2 items had been cancelled off the order as they were out of stock. I was actually on their website at time of my call and could see that the other items I'd ordered were showing as in stock on there, but when i queried this was then told that website isn't it real time and that some stuff that is showing in stock could be out of stock at their warehouse!!! I received no other notification of this and wouldn't have known if I hadn't called them to find out. Checked my bank and I had been refunded for items that were cancelled which was the only plus! Very disappointed as the items I'd ordered were for a gift for someone and if i'd known they were out of stock I would have bought them somewhere else! Will never shop at Millets again after this!

Millers have lost my order but their customer help desk doesn’t answer the phone; they take 48 hours to reply to emails and then just repeat invalid tracking information and are refusing to give me a refund

I ordered some gifts for Christmas in October 2021. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything I contacted them to be told there were some delays. After another 2 weeks I contacted them again and I was still told there were delays. At that point I asked for a refund and I am still waiting to see my money 3 months later January 2021. They are now saying they tried transferring my money, but my bank declined it. They obviously didn't have the items I originally wanted in stock to begin with, but took the money out of my account anyway. How they feel they can behave in such a terrible manner is dreadful. Please do not buy from what used to be a good reputable company. I don't understand how they've become so criminal with their intents. If in any doubt, just go to their Facebook page to see so many customer complaints.

I would honestly put -5 if I had the option. After waiting 3 weeks with no accurate update as to what is happening with my package, it arrives with half of the items missing. I contacted customer services 2 days before the delivery of my package and they failed to mention anything about any of my items not showing up.. they just sent out the bog standard reply email. Under no circumstances would I recommend buying ANYTHING from this site. AVOID at all costs.

The online service is ridiculous. You go to track your order and the bot that is there to allegedly support you just replies with ‘ I do not understand’.. well I don’t understand why you have the option to ‘track order’ if it doesn’t work. Safe to say I will never order online again from this company

I don't normally write negative reviews but the Millets online service deserves a negative review. I placed an order on November 26th and I still haven't received my order, even though Millet's have taken the money. I have spoken to Customer services at least 7 times and apart from being polite and saying they can't do anything and sorry, it is a waste of time. The online service is a complete contrast from the good service I get in the Newton Abbot store. I know we are in strange times but other online services such as Wiggle have got my orders out efficiently. I do not intend to use Millet's online service again. service again.

Avoid at all costs. Ordered on line, payment taken, no goods after 3 weeks. Used automated customer service order in process. Spoke to customer services twice, problem with thier IT? Being sorted. Eventually after having no response contacted credit card company and raised dispute. Never had any response from Millets, symbolic, do not use on line!!!

Ordered a Christmas present weeks ago. They left it until the last minute to cancel and give me a refund stating no stock available. Stock was available online apparently and in my local stores of Millets and Go Outdoors (All owned by JD anyway). I was told to reorder and I would be reimbursed with the difference of what I paid when on discount. I received the discount difference but my order was cancelled yesterday. This is far too last minute. I purposefully ordered online due to COVID trying to do the right thing, but now it’s too late to get my son the boots he wanted for Christmas. Really disappointed and suggest people do not deal with these companies online if you want something of importance. You have to go in person to the shop.
