We have been very pleased with Mobile Help. You have been great about responding whenever my mom has pressed the button. Unfortunately, she presses it by mistake but it is really not a big deal. She’s afraid to use it because she thinks an ambulance is going to show up…I told her they call the contacts before they would send one. Overall it’s great!

I did an intensive search for medical alert devices before going with Mobile Help. I would have rated my experience as a 5 Star except for the fact that I encountered some surprise in additional cost, pricing, and time limits once I had made the choice of Mobile Help. I can say that the customer service and billing department were very helpful. It only took two conversations to clear up my issues and the final mostly cost met my expectations and more.

Everything to date has been excellent except for one feature. I strongly object to the voice indicator that my battery is getting low. For this, my rating is -O. If this should happen at a church/funeral service etc. it is VERY EMBARASSING and should not be. I was told by TechSupport that I should just turn off the monitor when I am in such a place or with others and do not want to receive this oral message. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a monitor? There must be another way to notify me and others. PLEASE correct this very poor way of communication. A rapidly blinking red light might be o.k. If you can make this type of device you can surely figure out how to make low battery notification much better. To date I do think you should know everyone has been helpful and courteous and I especially appreciate that everyone speaks good, clear, English. Just PLEASE PLEASE do something with your battery communication. This is a truly serious problem and I can't be the only customer who has this complaint.

I tested MobileHelp yesterday while I was in town and in the car to see if I had coverage. In the car with the windows up, there was no coverage. I was supposed to call tech support. But then I tried the test with the window down and I had coverage. But 9 times out of 10 I'm going to be in the car with the windows up whether it's summer or winter. So I need it to cover me with the windows up. I will call tech support. Just have been busy and hadn't had time. Thank you! Emma B. Stone

I have not yet had to call MobileHelp for help, but the other day all of a sudden I heard "Fall Detected, Do You Need Help?" I had neither fallen nor inadvertently pressed the button. I had changed to MobilHelp from another company because the same thing happened with them; I was asleep at the time (it was 4:20 A.M. and the mechanical voice woke me up). I think some-thing must be wrong with the equipment for this to happen???

So far I have been pleased with the product. It detected a fall as I was putting it back on its charger, so it is very sensitive. It did follow up with a question as to whether it was a fall, so that is a good feature.

I dislike the entire concept of having to wear this thing because it reminds me that I'm not a kid anymore, but that's hardly the device or the service's issue. I do feel more secure with it than I do without it, and my growing number of healthcare providers all congratulate me on having gotten it. And the process of signing up was quite simple and initializing the device was too. I took off one star because I feel the accelerometer that detects falls is just a little too sensitive. I suppose too sensitive is better than not sensitive enough, but it's annoying to hear "Fall detected!" because, among other things, I'm working at my lathe in my woodshop and the vibrations from the machine set off the alarm.

The service is great. I have a problem with my unit though. It goes off without me touching it and it doesn’t hold a charge for 24 hours which is aggravating.

MobileHelp gives my Aunt and me as a care giver confidence that if she falls she will get help. It is good that the device that she wears talks to her and with her having two hearing aids she can hear it talking.

I just receive the kit yesterday but this is the second time that I have recently purchased the kit again. I was satisfied the first time and I am sure that things will be beneficial this time too.

Customer service was pleasant and detailed. Equipment was easy to set up, and instructions for use are simple enough for my elderly mother to understand. She likes the independence and mobility she gained from using this system. There is much room for improvement in response time during system test that is concerning should she have a real emergency.

The first time I did a test it took 8 minutes to reach someone, but the second time it was only 2 minutes. I do feel safer with this service.

The team of men that came to transport Mom were awesome. They did not have a wheelchair van available as ordered, but they made up for it by sending a great crew!
