“After receiving an increase in the trade-in offer for my Fuji X100F I contracted the MPB support team to see if I could change my mind with regard to the equipment I initially wished to purchase.
The experience could not have been any easier. The support team representative quickly remove the equipment I originally listed for purchase and replaced it with the items I now desired. No problem!

I was quoted a fair price for my lens in perfect condition, which was already below the second-hand market value, but that is understandable. After they received it, they slashed the offering by nearly half, for no real reason, as the lens is like new. Shipping worked well but I am very disappointed with what they wanted to pay.”
“MPB was fair in their prices, both trade-in and purchasing. I have traded gear multiple times so far and while it was intimidating at first, everything worked out great every time. Tips to new customers- they cannot be reached by phone, and the chat option hangs for me...but using their support email (and referencing transaction #s) got quick responses every time- usually within an hour, sometimes in minutes. (No service on weekends though) The service reps are very friendly and willing to assist with requests not available on the website (extra pics or checking the item's settings or another look at condition of what they're selling, etc.) For the people that received items in less than expected conditions...reach out for assistance. With the level of support I've experienced, I feel they are reasonable enough to work on any issue as long as the customer is also reasonable.
Things I didn't like- 1. Wished there was phone support. 2. As a photo gear company, some of the product photos are really bad (overexposed, only 1 angle, or clear picture of lens glass with lots of lint, etc.)...really need to zoom in and compare if cosmetics is important to you. (it is to me) 3. My third party batteries, and (extra) original chargers were all returned to me from a trade...I have no use for them, and the next owner would've appreciated the extra accessories. They did not deduct from the trade quote, but I think this is wasteful.”
