“Very hit and miss between products. Some stuff is pretty good quality, others quite terrible frankly. Went to have these chicken thighs on the 19th of May, the use by is the 23rd, and they were rancid. Opened the pack and just about vomited from the smell so had to chuck them out. Not sure I’d trust them again. Won’t let me upload the photo for proof.”

“The Food is nice but unfirtunately wont be ordering again or recomending. Please be prepared to have a double payment come from your account on the first order, and then spend the next two weeks trying to chase up why a double payment was taken out. The user interface still has some errors - hence why i was charged over €100 for the first order across three days. No phone customer service - purely relying on email SLA times for a reply. Still waiting for a reply to my complaint & still didnt get the money back.”

“I found the food pretty bland and especially the Korean chicken, completely tasteless. Portion sizes were good but I doubt whether I willbe ordering again soon.”

“I have now “tried” a number of prep meals, rice pots and breakfast meals. I must say I find all of them very satisfying and tasty. I enjoy the variety and am able to swap and change my meals so never coming bored. I will certainly continue to “try” more choices.”

“I like that you can choose items to fill a hamper, I unfortunately received a refund as an item I ordered wasn't packed. I would rather they had contacted me to enable me to choose something else. I was prompted to spend more money to save on the delivery charge; I did intact order 2 hampers, both £50 value, but they were going to different addresses (in the same town) and so I was charged 2 delivery amounts. Not sure if I would use them again.”

“Awful steak, not fit for consumption. I complained, not even had a reply. Will not use again. Oh, and the carrier just dumped it on the doorstep. Didn't even ring the bell!”

“Dreadful service, kept insisting on emailing me every month (on a Sunday) stating that my next delivery was due the following Wednesday. Obviously I couldnt get hold of anyone on a Sunday, so they ended up taking the payment for the order, before they then agreed that they were in the wrong! They then had to stop the delivery and refund my money - this has happened for the last two months, even though I had a email weeks ago, confirming that I didnt have a current subscription - lets hope the same thing doesnt happen next month!”

“Ordered twice now (build my own hamper) and I’m so happy with what I’ve received. I’m currently on a fat loss mission and it makes it so easy. A lot of the food is already portioned as I like my food fresh so I can just cook off a 200g packet of mince! :))) food quality is amazing too, I love the range of food to pick from also!”

“Great products at a good price but... A few years ago my rating would have been 5 stars but the removal of their exotic meats (I get it, if few people buy it, why stock it) and the recent website update, which prevents you from making changes to your subscriptions without writing to customer services, slightly reduces my personal enjoyment of the service offered”

“Didn’t receive the order and had to report the order missing, turned out to be spoiled in transit, I received a replacement a week later. Customer service was excellent but the delay meant we had to buy additional groceries but I can fault Muscle Food themselves, just disappointed I had to report before it was found out to be spoiled - maybe change courier company.”

“So far so good. I placed the first order on the 15th and it arrived as promised on the 17th. Well packaged and all well boxed and frozen. I ordered vegan and the four options are all tasty and have decent protein content. The boxes look small but it’s filling. I read some reviews after I had ordered and started to panic as some were not good but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Many of the reviews were complaining about customer service but I had contacted customer service myself because I wasn’t able to log in after I had ordered and a person responded within less than 24 hours which is a good standard with a large company. I’ll be keeping this subscription for the foreseeable. Good food, nutrition and super convenient (so much less meal prep)!”
