“Good food but poor customer service. I tried to cancel a subscription a couple of days before it was due, a bit late but before the order had been prepared or dispatched. Whilst having correspondence with their customer services team they continued to keep processing the order to the point that the order was beyond being cancelled and drawn back through their system. Perhaps because a lot of that process is automated. Customer services were not particularly helpful. Food is good but well overpriced for what it is if you end up paying full price. Packaging is also pretty terrible for the environment. Lots of plastic that isn't widely recyclable. Having tried a few food prep companies, I'd recommend Gold Stand Nutrition as an alternative for better quality food, better macro composition, fairer price, and packaging that is nearly 100% recyclable.”

“I’m normally really please with all of the bundles o boy from you however from my last bundle I was a little disappointed when I found a bone in my chicken breast. It was lucky I decided to chop the breast up or I would not have noticed and it could have ended badly.”

“Wasn't happy this time .Everything in the box was almost room temperature, I immediately put it in the freezer . I haven't tried any yet but we shall see . Might order from somewhere else in future”

“My first order & it was very disappointing. The main part of my order didn’t arrive, the refund said it was out of stock yet it was in stock when I ordered & still showing as in stock when my order was dispatched, & when it arrived. So I won’t be ordering again.”

“The food is great but have to complain about DPD I got it delivered to my work address but the driver didn’t drop it off till 6:35 at the wrong address and left out side a random business. The annoying thing was he had passes any work 2 times in the day on the app so I had to come back to work to play hunt the parcel. The driver didn't even post the slip thought my work door so how was I meant to find it..”

“Easy to order I went fir a £50 make your own hamper choice was good. But that's where it ends as I never recieved my box and when queried all I got was "parcel had been delivered to arranged address" sorry to say it hadn't.”

“I would love to give a higher 'Star-Rating' for MuscleFood because the products are superb. My 2-Star-Rating is purely down to the DPD delivery service. On one of the hottest days of the year so far, the DPD driver saw fit to leave my delivery on my doorstep, in the blazing sunshine. I was only alerted to his presence by a motion sensor at my front door. He didn't even attempt to ring the bell, or knock on the door! Sorry MuscleFood, but on this occasion you were badly let down by DPD”

“Whole idea is great, but food - no so much. First of all there is nothing healthier about it. It's just a food picked up which you could easly access at any supermarket with better price too. I have been calculated to need 1990 calories to lose weight, after chosing my meals it came to total whopping 1500 calories so you still need to buy something to get your target. Overall food wasnt bad, burittos etc were really good, diners on the other hand, very bland. Chicken wasnt seasoned at all.”

“Previously, I have had a good service, but on this occasion I feel I have been let down. My order arrived in a box that was soaking wet on one corner, with meat juices leaking all over everything. I couldn't really tell which package was leaking as they were all dripping wet inside the bag. I used the contact form on the website to ask what I should do about it and did not receive a reply. I was not comfortable eating meat that was not sealed properly and felt the leaked meat juices made the other packets unsanitary to handle, so I was forced to dispose of it. This has left me out of pocket and very unlikely to use musclefood again in the future. I have also warned my friends and family against musclefood in case the same thing happens to them”

“Items were omitted from order and refunded at pro rata rate rather than full cost which made the pack less cost effective. Sausages are so thin and tasteless, almost half the thickness of a normal sausage. Sirloin steaks have been quite tough so far. Based on the disappointment of the items so far tried, I await the rest with little confidence. I shall not be purchasing this meat again”

“I generally don’t have a problem with anything I order but my last delivery wasn’t great. Put pork loin steaks in fridge to use as they had a good number of days to use them in, took them out to cook and they had already started turning a green colour and smelt awful, the chicken breast fillets were tiny compared to usual and had quite a bit of fat left on, which is also unusual and when my box was delivered it looked like it had been used for a game of football. Torn in one corner and had come loose from most of the tape so was like an almost open box. I will give it another chance as I usually find them excellent so I’m hoping this was just a one off”
