5 of the 10 tubs were leaking, everything in the delivery bag was covered in sauces. Tubs weren't packed properly, some upside down, like they were thrown in the bag. Food tasted very average, needs salt.

Very hit and miss between products. Some stuff is pretty good quality, others quite terrible frankly. Went to have these chicken thighs on the 19th of May, the use by is the 23rd, and they were rancid. Opened the pack and just about vomited from the smell so had to chuck them out. Not sure I’d trust them again. Won’t let me upload the photo for proof.

I emailed in and explained the problem I was having with the website and issues I was finding with the new system and all I got was a clearly copy and pasted answer telling me to refresh my browser even tho it wasn’t anything to do with that and never solved the problem

Had a subscription with them for £29.99 was told they have moved to a different website (prepped pots) and to cancel my subscription and renew on the new website. I went to do this and the price is now £39.99 no thanks

Hi It is my first time to order from musclefood.I tried the protei bars which were nice.However disappointed with the delivery as the package which also included chicken sausages were left outside the building for hours before I managed to trace it and hence affecting the product. Xx

Used to be better. Last few times stuff hasnt been available with my order then they didnt refund the full amount. Also their new website whilst it looks 'nicer' is less user freindly and has less functionality. Ill be avoiding them for a while.

Two deliveries and both missing items the latest one 4 items, I will try once more as the food is actually good but they need to sort out their packaging people. First issue sorted with a voucher (I didn’t need a voucher but was given it) second order here’s a voucher, no, I want my items or a refund! Waiting for a response so will reply to this post if it is successful.

For my past three deliveries, the bacon medallions haven't been of great quality. They've been thin, fatty, and they break when you try to separate them from the others.

Food quality is good but, following price increases, I am finding supermarkets to be cheaper. The new website is awful for managing subscriptions. Customer service took two days to reply to my cancellation request. I had to cancel my debit card to prevent the order going through. If prices come down we may place a one time order again but won’t lock in a subscription with this new system.

I’ve been a muscle food customer for about 4 years. I’ve noticed quality has reduced recently. Bones found in the chicken breast. Recent website migration has been poor for existing users as it left them unable to manage their account or subscriptions. 4 days after asking for my account to be removed as I don’t have the ability to do it myself, I’m still waiting for this to be done. Shame, it used to be a great company.

Have used these for a couple of years but they have changed the website so you are no longer able to manage your account. I emailed before the cut off time to cancel an order that was due but they emailed me the next day confirming my order and took the money from my bank! Sorted eventually but I have cancelled my account. Apparently prepped pots is the new, but same (!!!) company so will try them.

I stopped using musclefood after they updated their website. My old subscription was transferred across but because it was an "old" subscription I was unable to edit the items/delivery day without emailing customer services. Customer Services are very difficult to get hold of as you cannot phone them. After asking to cancel my account, I still received an order. And although I have been told via email my account is closed, it still shows as active. I have contacted my bank to cancel the recurring card payment.

Muscle food was initially a really good service. Unfortunately it has rapidly declined in the last year. The meal kits shipped with fresh ingredients have disappeared from the menu, replaced with all frozen ready meals. Order picking also seems to have gone down hill, most of my recent orders had items missing. Finally the customer service is virtually non existent with no contact via telephone and just a web bot that says “leave a message”

First order Part of the order was missing with no refund or email as advertised and only offered a discount off more hampers i would have to pay for to replace the food that was missing not good just out to make money and nothing else

I gave it another chance after having issues with multiple previous orders.. but unfortunately the quality of the chicken is the same again.. I have found many bones within the chicken breasts which luckily has been in my food not my young childrens. I have emailed regarding this. I feel the standard is slipping compared to years ago. Delivery was on time although a packet of burgers was open in the box - very thin sealed lids.

The food is excellent, however I have been ordering for the past 3 months and each of the orders have arrived with issues, this month has been the worst yet, where the order hasn’t turned up at all and now I’m having to wait 11 days to receive my order. Extremely unacceptable
