“They told me because I lived in an area that was further than usual they would take an extra day to deliver which I was fine with. Nothing had appeared for quite some time so i emailed the customer service for them to say it was cancelled because of my area. What a waste of time and annoyance. I was really looking forward to try the stuff out and if it was decent recommend to my clients.”

“Terrible. They advertise that you can buy 10 meals for £29 instead of £39.90, and that the discount will be applied when you check-out. The discount doesn't get applied. I had to cancel my order. Was told that I used the wrong link (but I used the links in the photo), and then they sent me a link to subscription offer reading something completely different. A subscription of buy 1 weeks meals, and get the second free £2.99 a meal) I asked why their website still said 10 meals for £29, and they couldn;t answer my question only cancel my order. Rubbish.”

“I ordered goods from muscle foods, however they continue to send and debit my card with goods i haven't ordered. All contact with them is through email there is no phone contact so you can't actually speak to anyone. Beware that they will say you've agreed to recurring orders and ignore emails to close down the account.”

“Seemed like a good idea but the quality of many of their products are way below par. In the hampers there's always a good % of cheap rubbish bulking it out. The diced southern fried chicken is a prime example - every single one of these I have had to throw half of it away before cooking as the meat is such poor quality. I'm also heartily sick of the 400 spam emails they send me per week. Won't be bothering with them again”

“I had cancelled within the agreed time and still had order delivered today despite this. My son disliked the meals and on a limited budget did not want to waste any more on this horrible food!! Problems with their poor customer service too. Never buy from these”

“Spent a whole Saturday waiting for a delivery that did not come. After reaching out to customer service, all that I was given was an explanation about they payment system having a problem and that my order had been cancelled. The money, however, had been taken from my account and I was not notified about the cancellation. Deeply frustrated and also unsatisfied by the solution they proposed (wait for another delivery or a full refund). Will never buy from this company again.”

“I'll start by saying the products from musclefood aren't bad, although some of the frozen meals are pretty much inedible. However, their processes and service are a disgrace. Like many of their customers, we had a repeating order and their website offers a facility to update the products you have. Beware, this often doesn't work and it is very difficult to check, especially on a mobile. The worst bit though is the service, slow, unresponsive and rude, taking to responsibility and effectively accusing me of lying. I've now cancelled all orders and informed my bank not to make payments to these people and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.”

“Recieved my 2nd order from musclefood on 29th May. There were 4 broken pots with plastic in so they couldn't be used, missing item and a box of ruined food! One of the boxes had no ice packs in so 3 'frozen' meals and multiple packs of meat had gone to room temperature. Over the past 19 days I have sent multiple emails and musclefood still have not resolved these issues. I am absolutely disgusted!”

“If I Could I would give these Negative… If I Could I would give these Negative stars!. Made out first order, some £90 worth. Lots of items missing so was offered compensation that wasn't even near the value. Eventually settle on £10 refund and thought I would try them again, ohhhh what a mistake! Once again lots of stuff missing. Was promised the items and 2 weeks still nothing. The second order was left out in the sun, if it wasn't for my brilliant neighbour taking it off my doorstep and putting it in there housetl then we would have just had a wet cardboard box left. Now the food! Some items will do like such as the meatballs and the gammon (only the ones we actually recieved) but my god the chicken breast has to be the worst chicken I have ever tasted in my life. My familly didn't believe me untill they tried a few them went back to supermarket brand and low and behold the Mrs has thrown it all in the bin, it's literally fowl!. The ready meals they sent are also tasteless and rubbish. I will never order from these incompetent people again and I'm sure to be leaving my review everywhere I can!”

“Wouldnt feed it to my dog, Horrible horrible horrible food Recently I have been trying to push myself to push for a little weight loss in the summer, however I will be the first to admit I am a poor cook and I rarely get time in the evenings to properly meal prep for my lunches at work the following day. So I decided to try some of Muscle food's "Freshly prepared meals" so that it would be a simple task for me to just heat the food up without having to do any of the prep work. So firstly Muscle foods messed up my order completely and had missed out some of the meals I had ordered and replaced them with more of the same. Not only was the food so horrendous I wouldn't even feed it to my dog, I wrote to Muscle food explaining that I was dissatisfied with the food and the fact that my order was wrong. They happily responded to a couple of emails however once I asked for my complaint to be taken further due to them not being helpful... they have now just point blank ignored my last couple of emails. They're food is horrendous, and their service is even worse. Never under any circumstances order from this joke of a company. If you want a nice healthy meal you are better off just eating soil in your garden.”

“Terrible customer service! Made a very simple order - the confirmation have far more items that I'd ordered. Tried to cancel immediately via emails which were ignored then customer services have been ignoring me ever since. This company does not care about its customers and should be avoided.”

“Customer service terrible food arrived out of date gave me and my children food poisoning had to throw the rest of meat in bin wasted £70 on rotten food tried contacting muscle food been over 2 weeks still jo response just the same automatic response email stating they will contact me in 24 hours 5 emails and a Facebook message later and I'm still waiting to talk to a customer advisor. If you dont want get sick or waste money on rotting meat avoid muscle food at all cost all they care about is money. They dont give a s**t about there customers”

“Have bought from them before ..last time DISASTER..ordered a jumper that was reduced to £39.50 .you also got to hampers free ..was paying £5 for delivery as not over £70 ..they took £80 from my bank !!! Emailed them etc ..they have totally ignored me ..will NEVER use again”

“online meat ordering company was a bit sceptical at 1st till I found a friend who had used them (EX BUTCHER fussy with my meats) could not complain about the prices and offers they have and as for the meat itself fantastic will definitely be using again and would recommend to anyone.”
