I don't normally leave bad reviews, but the customer service has been appalling. Money taken, goods not received, all bar 1 email ignored. I have communicated time and again asking where my goods are or refund, however, they just ignore you and you get neither. Very quick to take the money though.... I would avoid them if I were you, I personally will never purchase from them again, they have no consideration at all for failing to provide the customer with what they have already paid for, nor interested in rectifying their error. Stay clear!!!

When I placed an order I made sure that I did not sign up for a subscription but despite this they have charge my card £4. I will be in contact with my bank to claw this back if they do not refund it. Avoid this company they are not honest.

Despite cancelling card details off their system after my trial offer they continued to use the card details without authorisation This is fraud and will take this further

I signed up for a subscription that wasn’t clear on the web page and they have subsequently being taking money from my account. A number of people at my gym have had the same problem. It seems very underhand and dishonest for the sake of a few pounds muscle food have lost the trust of a lot of people. No one at my gym will now be using them.

Avoid for safety reasons I ordered for the first time and unfortunately it will be my last. Food packaging was extremely poor and the outer packaging had been opened. Will be sending all meats to the bin as the packaging has been tampered with and meats could have gone off. Great concept but poor attention to detail and safety with packing process and no telephone number to call to discuss. Takes them 72 working hours to reply to and issues or complaints. Think twice before ordering with Musclefood.

I hate to leave bad reviews but in this case it’s warranted. Absolutely shocked and disgusted with this company and it’s returns policies. It sounds trivial but sometimes it’s this principle of the matter. When I was sent the wrong products within my order I duly complained and the customer service was horrendous. After explaining the situation, considering it was their mistake, I was told that I’d have to return the products before any further items would be dispatched. Sounds reasonable if it was my mistake but in this circumstance it was not. Such a shame that a company would lose a loyal customer over a relatively small amount of money.

Worst company ever. Nothing but trouble with them. No clarity on website with when payment gets taken out. No phone number to phone . Just email. Ruined my xmas order. Thank u very much

Food is bland, customer service is appalling, they automatically tick a redelivery box when you order so be careful, they also will not refund you. DO NOT USE

I have had two £4 charges after ordering meal hampers. Emailed asking why I am being charged as there is nothing to show regarding this and no response! The meals themselves I enjoy and are perfect to take to work but they are already pricey when signing up to offer don’t actually get the offer you’ve signed up for and then on top a £4 charge for each of my orders making them even more expensive than I originally thought! Making one order £44 for 15 meal boxes? A bit much

Scam company, beware, i've cancelled the same recurring subscription twice and they keep on recurring the order without my permission. Disgusting this company is robbing people.

i have been with muscle food for years and have had no problems in the past until now, i ordered £89 worth of food as usual then i wake up the next day to an email saying that they have had tried to take £115 of me that day eg the next day for an order i never made thankfully for me there was only enough money in my account for the order i did make so they never got the £115 there reply after me emailing them saying i wasnt happy they were trying to take money out my account that i never authorised get that order cancelled and stop sending me emails saying you will be trying to take £115 out my account everyday at 10 am for an order i never made for the next week,there reply was rude they basically said i made the order they dont order for people and will now refund the £89 which will be with me in 3 to 5 working days and will cancel the order i never made leaving me now with no money for food, what they should have done is said sorry sumthing must have went wrong we will definitely cancell that order and get the order you did make out to you on the date stated basicaly they tried to take money out my account i did not authorise then called me a liar and cancelled the order i did make leaving me out of pocket for 3 to 5 days and no money for food untill then stay away they might help themselfs to your money out your bank and who knows if you dont noticed most probably keep it in my book thats theft stay clear

Scam company with terrible customer service Dishonest marketing/sales techniques and terrible customer service. Once they have your card details, they will tie you into a regular £4 subscription (written in small print on order details) and provide you with nothing of any tangible value for it. When you question the payments they refuse to provide a refund/ or offer any money back

I bought the two weeks worth of muscle food ready meals. I found the quality and the taste of them to be very poor. The chicken was dry when microwaved and the sauce was scant. The taste was not what I would have expected for the price I paid. Slimming World and weight watchers meals are much better tasting. Very disappointing.

Customer service is appalling, I am missing 3 hampers from my delivery and you are refusing to help and keep sending me the same message over and over worded differently, with no offer of help at all, I have ms I have not lost my mind. I contacted as soon as it was unpacked and put in my freezer and split, so no question about what was missing, you need to take responsibility

I have had £49.99 taken from my account and recieved no order. Can’t get through by telephone and told by email i never placed my order and no money was taken when i actually have proof!! Disgusting service!!

Placed an order last week that had 3 mini hampers included for FREE. Order arrived but had quite a few things missing from the list of items. I complained but got fobbed off by telling me that the items was included...even AFTER I showed them proof! Since then I haven't heard from them Being a customer for a few years now the customer service has got worse! Go to your local butcher, it's worth the price for customer service alone!

Absolutely disgraceful! I was so hyped up to try this after reading the facebook comments, only to discover that the food smells/tastes like plastic. Also, the portions are laughable (tiny). Best to avoid and save your money.

Product quality is variable. Some are good, but some rubbish in there too. I've since decided not to use them, but the spam keeps flooding in daily. I've unsubscribed multiple times, even reported them to the ICO. Honestly wish I hadn't bothered with them now.

Ordered 3 times, last 2 were very poor. They gave me a voucher as partial compensation for the terrible quality of the chicken on my previous order, then on my recent order they sent me chicken breast fillets (offcuts) instead of small chicken breasts and then denied it was the wrong product, even though they charge extra for small ones (because they should be younger, more tender, etc). It's blatantly mis-described (as were the eggs I purchased). They're just selling offcuts of large bits of chicken and passing them off as premium. And it was 'fresh' chicken, from Lithuania... And they refused to give me a refund, when I didn't even order the product they sent. Won't be going back.
