Chicken and mince are nice, steaks are rubbish!! Won't be ordering again. Customer service is very poor! Asking me on here to get in touch after my requested review, instead of emailing me directly.

Delivery was delayed by a week. I was promised steaks from Argentina but got different steaks Packs for freezing (Repacking chicken breasts to small packages) were missing

The quality of product is good but the only downfall is asda still comes out cheaper. I do prefer direct from butcher and will continue to order if the price reduces slightly

I have always been happy with muscle food But this delivery the chicken breasts were half the size I usually get and took a much smaller part of the freezer after I put them in freezer bags Maybe too popular now

My box arrived open and was missing two packs of the stakes and two packs of the mince which am not overly happy about but can’t wait to try what has arrived,

All food received was fine , the problem is they leave items out of the hamper deals. They refund you an amount which is less than half the value of the product if bought separately, the the “deal” you have isnt that great of a deal.

I was a little shocked at such a massive box when it could of come in 1/2 the size. also my son and i did have a laugh at the size of the packets, in the ad it states can feed 4 people, yes if you weigh 1/2 stone. if you are a big eater - forget it. if you are planning on dieting then go for it. i will be making comparisons with the supermarkets to see if it is actually worth the money. not sure about the packaging everything seems a bit squashed. once we've cooked the first meal, i will update. 1st impressions not sure.

Good quantity, but clearly not fantastic quality of meat (I'm talking about the sirloins in particular). Very chewy. Also would be far better if the chicken breasts were already wrapped separately.

I ordered this as a birthday present for my son so he hasn't tasted any of it yet. My only gripe is that the delivery was left on the doorstep without the doorbell being rung. So my daughter in law (who was at home) was unaware that it had arrived until I rang her to ask if it had. Fortunately, it was still there, but it could easily have been pinched, so not very happy about that.

I don’t know if this is a Musclefood issue or DPD, but we asked for our parcel to be left with neighbours if we wernt in, instead, the delivery man let himself in the back garden and left it outside, it rained very hard that day so the box was destroyed, but he also left the back gate open, so when my partner got home and let the dogs out one escaped, running on to a main road, as the back gate is never opened and you can only open it from the inside, so the delivery guy must have leant over to do it. Have tried contacting DPD but just go around in circles. Not happy at all.

Good quality meat. But portion sizes for steak and mince were small. Chicken breasts were good size.

Chicken was nice and value for money, the steak on the other hand was awful and a waste of money. I won't be ordering from muscle foods again.

Hampers were great but the gammon joints I ordered were like 70% just pure fat so definitely disappointed especially when expecting healthy cuts of meat. Would not recommend ordering them and I definitely wouldn't order again

Ordering process was easy. Meat seems of good quality The only issue I have is that when I opened the delivery the big bag of chicken breasts was burst and everything was swimming in chicken juice. Not very hygienic and rather off putting having to fish everything out of the chicken Slime. But overall I think it is good value for money

I don't normally have too many issues but the last few times the boxes have come damaged and the order before last got delayed a week because it got damaged in transit. This time the box was very damaged and even the chicken packet inside was ripped and was leaking all over the other stuff and through the box.

This is the second occasion I’ve placed an order and have only been notified 3 or 4 hours after I’ve had DPD delivery notification that an item I ordered is out of stock! Surely a notification should be sent at the point the order is picked and packed and not hours after it’s out for delivery

Hi, Thanks for your feedback! We appreciate that shortages are not ideal. Unfortunately however, the food industry is currently experiencing unprecedented supply issues. If you were to walk around a supermarket at the moment, you will experience similar issues. The problem we have is that because our food is so fresh, we often don't know food is going to be out of stock until the very last minute. We will receive a delivery in the morning, and then those same products are being picked and packed the same day, for delivery the day after. That obviously leaves us with very little time to find a resolution. We are however really sorry for the inconvenience this will have caused you.
