Told my parcel was waiting on had been delivered and signed for by me as well as a delivery attempt made ... utter lies . Would never use hermes as a delivery service if this is the kind of service i would receive. Customer service lied over and over to cover their tracks . Unbelievable service really do not know how they can call themselves a delivery service . Company i had bought my trainers from ended up having to send a second pair with a different delivery service and i received very next day with no problems at all. Still have no clue as to where my first pair ended up.

This is a conversation I had with Hermes live chat today, their service is disgraceful, the answers you get back from the operator are obviously the standard answer they give to everyone, no help whatsoever. Rutuja Kokare: Hi, my name is Rutuja Kokare. How may I help you? Jim Thompson: I have received a email from you which says that my parcel was signed for the customer at 13.27, both I and my wife were at work at that time, so where is my parcel. Rutuja Kokare: Let me check it for you where the parcel has been delivered and help you with the details. Rutuja Kokare: In order to check the status of the parcel and to find where it has been delivered to could you please provide your sixteen digit tracking number? Rutuja Kokare: Can you confirm the recipients name and the delivery address along with the postcode? Jim Thompson: 5293006620854866, Mrs Susan Ann Thompson, 27 Higher Wood Bovington, Dorset, BH20 6NF Rutuja Kokare: Thanks for providing details .It'll take me a few minutes to look into this for you but I'll be as quick as I can. Rutuja Kokare: As per the tracking the parcel was delivered to you today at 13:27. Rutuja Kokare: I'm sorry to hear you haven't received your parcel, although the Service Provider has scanned it as delivered .We'd need to get this looked into for you so we'll contact the Service Provider for more information. We'll get an update back to you within 28 hours. Jim Thompson: Ok so that was the first parcel, I have received another email for another parcel stating that it was ushed through the letter box at 13.26, guess what there is no parcel through my letter box. My parcel number is 5293006387317154, the other details are the same as above. Rutuja Kokare: It will just take me a minute or two to check this for you, I'll be as quick as I can. Rutuja Kokare: As per the tracking this parcel was delivered in grey colour box today at 13:26. Rutuja Kokare: Can you please check if you have some grey color box at your property? Jim Thompson: The email said it had been pushed through the letter box. Rutuja Kokare: We will look for this parcel too and get back to you within 28 hours via email for the parcel updates. Jim Thompson: If it has been put into a grey box why wasn't a card put through the letter box stating where it had been put. Rutuja Kokare: I'm so sorry the Service Provider hasn't left a calling card, standard procedure is to leave a calling card at every delivery attempt and I'll flag this with their Field Manager so it doesn't happen again. Jim Thompson: This still doesn't help me with my parcels for today, which I need for tomorrow!!!!!!!! Rutuja Kokare: I will arrange the call to the courier to confirm where they delivered the parcels. Jim Thompson: When will the call be made? Rutuja Kokare: I will arrange the call now to the courier. Rutuja Kokare: Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get through to the Service Provider as they're probably driving or with a customer. Rutuja Kokare: Please allow 28 hours to get back to you.We will try to get this sorted as soon as possible. Jim Thompson: Thats not good enough I need my parcels today, as I need the items for tomorrow. Rutuja Kokare: Jim ,we need sometime to get this sorted for you. Rutuja Kokare: We will surely get this sorted as soon as possible for you. Jim Thompson: Time is something I don't have, if you drivers delivered items to the correct address this wouldn't happen, I want to speak with a manager. Rutuja Kokare: Can you please provide me your contact details? Jim Thompson: 07919621968 Rutuja Kokare: I will arrange the call back to you within 24 hours by the relevant team. Jim Thompson: Thats not good enough you are not listening to what I am saying, I need the items for tomorrow! Rutuja Kokare: I understand this time scale doesn’t suit the urgency required but we need to make sure a full investigation has taken place for a suitable outcome. Jim Thompson: Why can you not try the driver again and again untill you get hold of them to find out where my goods are. Rutuja Kokare: Unfortunately we can call the driver only once. Rutuja Kokare: As the exception I will call them again for you. Rutuja Kokare: Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get through to the Service Provider as they're probably driving or with a customer. ? Rutuja Kokare: Jim ,are you there? Rutuja Kokare: Jim ,I haven’t heard from you in a while, is there anything else that I can help you with? Jim Thompson: Yes I am here, your drivers normally have hands free, so answering whilst driving isn't a problem. Rutuja Kokare: Jim ,please allow 28 hours to get back to you.We will try to get this sorted as soon as possible. Rutuja Kokare: This is the best we can do for you at this point. I have had a number of goods sent via Myhermes. There have been a number of occasions when no delivery attempt has been made, a blank non delivery card put through the door while I've been in, or items dropped over the fence (with no card left). If a card is left, the contact number for the driver often goes unanswered. The online tracking system is flawed - they have no means to update if a parcel has been "lost" - there is apparently no routine check to ensure all stock that should have been onward shipped has been scanned out, or check that stock hasn't had a movement transaction, and no proactive update to the tracking page. They accept no responsibility, directing you to contact the retailer in case of any queries (note the retailer has entrusted the product to them as the carrier), and the live web chat is either the worst chatbot or a poor trainee who has only a script to work from.

Absolutely disgusting service make you wait in say they will deliver lie and then say they missed you 3 times the lying barstards have done that to me I wont use a service on the net that uses this company now

Lost parcels without notifying the sender or recipient. Destruction of parcel without any consent of the sender. Ripoff procedures to claim the cost of your lost and damaged parcels. Ex fotos, items number on eBay, blabllabaaaaa. Not recommend to anyone.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I bought goods from a private seller down South and they used Hermes. Checked the tracking service and was supposed to arrive yesterday between 5pm and 9pm. Cancelled two work appts to be in and surprise surprise no parcel. Contacted customer service through the live web chat the following morning and was told it was a vehicle breakdown....aye right. They said it would tomorrow it would be delivered but I said that was unacceptable as I needed it for tomorrow. They then said it would be marked as urgent and delivered tonight between 5pm and 9pm. Sat in for the full 4 hours and yet again no parcel. This company are an absolute joke. Wish I could leave a 0 star as they dont even deserve one.

Utterly useless Placed an order which was promised to be delivered the next day.... I checked the status the following day and it was not out for delivery.. I spoke to a Hermes Rep who confirmed that i need to give it some more time and that it will definitely be delivered by 8pm (i was skeptical as it was midday and it was still not out for delivery).... At 4pm i checked the status and again it was still not out for delivery.. I spoke to another Hermes Rep who said it hadn't even been assigned to a courier and that it could take up to 24 hours... now considering i have a flight to catch early morning and needed the items, this was not acceptable.. i had to cancel the order and treck to the store to buy them myself because Hermes could not deliver on what they were paid to do.. Utterly useless !

3 parcels out of 3 in 3 months never arrived, call centre very unhelpful all 3 times they said it had been lost. Never happened with DPD or UPS. All still show out for delivery with local agent on website. Terrible company.

Said my parcel was delivered to "reception". Parcel containing a vital toner cartridge was lost or stolen by courier, clearly. The "help" is appalling. Blame everyone but themselves - my eBay vendor and now the eBay Shutl service. THEY lost it.

Disgusting. Don't use.  Spent Thursday- Monday repeatedly 'sorting parcel at regional depot'. Said would deliver Monday and never showed up. Failed to respond to 2 email complaints. Updated to show parcel was deliver Tuesday...however no parcel, no note, neighbours have nothing... So they either dumped or stole my parcel.  Asked to make a complaint and was told to email the same address that haven't responded to the last 2. Asked to speak with someone but was told no and told to wait 28 hours to see if they can 'find it'. Unlikely given the driver claims he delivered it. Driver says just that he left it by 'a door' ...no details which door and in any event there is nothing here!!!  Absolutely furious. This was a present for my godchild who now has nothing and I will have to replace at my own cost!!!  DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE...THEY CANT MANAGE A SIMPLE DELIVERY

'Attempted' to deliver ONCE. Didn't succeed, despite package small enough to go through letter box and there being a porch where it could be safely left. The tracking then said 'on its way to courier', as if the courier hadn't even had it yet. That was over a week ago and it still hasn't been delivered or updated on the tracking.

They tried to deliver my package twice during week, when I am at work and now they are sending it back to the sender. Absolutely rubbish company. Would never use them.

Absolutely dreadful, parcel took three days from the US and 9 days in the UK because Hermes just sat on it. USELESS, DISGRACEFUL AND A COMPLETE SHAMBLES

Appalling. Lie about having attempted delivery. My partner was off sick today and they said they had attempted delivery on their online tracker. Not true. Done this 3 times this week and no card was left. Incompetent company.

Hermes are the worst delivery company I have EVER come across. Time and again they have proven themselves to be a shameful example of a business, with a level of customer service and delivery drivers that is beyond awful. They sully the name of the son of Zeus. This band of ruffians wouldn't know the meaning of the word quality service if they had to spend a century studying it. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and have never previously left a negative review of Hermes, but their latest delivery leaves me no choice. It is by Van 83, Drop 30, C-Round 0651. The pathetic example of a delivery driver left my delivery outside my door, on one of the busiest streets in my city! No wonder they uniformly receive a one star rating on this and all other review sites. Now I will ask anyone I order from if they use Hermes, and if they do I will flatly refuse to buy from them. This company won't be around long. Hermes is the pound shop version of delivery services: cheap and nasty.

I ordered an international package which doesn't have tracking number. That is fine I understood it. I waited 2 weeks I didn't get anything, I contacted the customer service they couldn't provide me with any information, they said I should contact the retailer. I did that my package was lost, so they had to resend it. I waited for more than a week and I contacted the retailer about information of the package. They said that myHermes tried to deliver the package but they couldn't deliver it since nobody picked it up. They delivered it at 20.00 in the evening, which is in my opinion ridiculous. They didn't leave any note nor contact details who I should contact to discuss a delivery date. I again contacted the retailer they said I should contact myHermes again. Of course their telephone customer service never picks up a phone you can't get through to anyone they just hang up. After this I tried the chat option where they still didn't know anything about my package because it's international and said I should contact the retailer. All in all I have no information about parcel whatsoever and I don't even know if I'll get my parcel in the future. Don't ever use this company ever.

Let me present you one of the worst delivery companies ever! Waiting on my parcel for two weeks now. Customer service is on repeat-automatic. I have confirmed my address for two weeks, twice a day with their beautiful service, and the result of that by tracking system is- Delay due to address query!!! Is this possible?! Nowadays?! Never ever use it! Ever!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!! unless you want them to give your parcel to anyone....leaving the parcel abandon in the middle of an halway for anyone to take....and customer serv doesnt want to know about complaints....they just dont care from the beggining!!! They somehow managed to loose a massive parcel that weighed 11kg. didn't even bother contacting me. Had to make numerous calls and emails to find out. Customer service is non existent. Very unhelpful. Now they want me to fill out a claim form that will take 2 weeks to process. Absolutely terrible. Wouldn't use Hermes again even if they paid me.
