Absolutely awful! I ordered from an online clothing store and purchased "next day delivery" expecting it obviously, to come the next day. The next day, I tracked the order online and the last track that had been noted was at 6am at my local courier, however, it did not arrive. Three days later and I found myself still checking the Hermes tracker website, and there had been no further adjustments to what I had seen on the first day. THEY HAVE ONE JOB, to deliver parcels within an agreed amount of time. I do not recommend them at all.

I can only say I wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering! Two parcels, booked for collection last week (Wednesday) - tracking said they were collected on Wed and they weren't, I was home all day waiting, It was Thursday! Ok - just one day late and it was snowy, so let that one ride. (The one thing that did concern me was the driver had said they had collected and they hadn't) So - kept a track of parcels - one delivered and one still out for delivery. The website updated later that day to say it had been delivered and left in a safe location which was a bit odd/annoying as I paid for a signature!!!!! My clients have not received a parcel and considering it was supposed to have been delivered to reception at 18.07 (my client was well gone before then!!) I have called - answerphone - says please use web chat. I have web-chatted and emailed - to no avail as yet. They are saying it has been delivered (but they have no signature which I paid extra for) and my clients have not received it,the driver has said its delivered - and it hasn't been. I am now going to report to Trading Standards as this cant be legal - to sell a service - and charge extra for extra upgrades - like signatures etc and the drivers/Hermes get away with it. The parcel contains 2 nice bottles of champagne and i am wondering of they will ever get delivered now! The driver said they had picked the parcel up which was a lie - and now saying its delivered - which i fear is also a lie! How can a company this size not have a better process, more foolproof way of managing their deliveries? And their staff! The general public are entrusting them with goods, which are important, Christmas presents, and possibly things that cant be replaced? I have also said that if my parcel isnt delivered, then I am going to call the police too and report it as stolen - and I will!!!!!!! I gave then chance to redeem themselves - but they couldn't contact the driver apparently, you know... to find out where this secure location was and why a signature wasn't taken on delivery - when this service was paid for? They couldn't let me know when the driver would be contactable either - its like top secret! Poor customer service, poor service all in all, but I'm sure something can be done. Ill let Watchdog know too - !

its bad when 95 percent as give u under one star. surely people are not daft enough to use these clowns and the customer services is shocking. infact shocking is a credit to them they don't even no where my kids Christmas presents are they are saying they have not been picked up off the sender even tho the sender as sent them the advice note to tell them they was collected from her to think ive paid these clowns some one should shoot me for not reading the reviews first never again a little tip pay the few pound extra with another company its worth it

This company are an absolute waste of time, nothing ever gets delivered when it’s supposed to and most of the time doesn’t get delivered at all.

2nd item that has 'got lost' on the past 3 weeks. Had I known the company I ordered from used you, I'd never have placed the order! Should've been delivered on the 18th - then 19th, then today and still nothing - thinking sticky fingers....

returned parcel through Myhermes, after 11 days the item was still with them, contacted live support, they hung up on me 4 times when i asked for why it had taken so long, then finally got link to myhermes return website, went on there, states to click on retialer item is going back to, and MandM direct are not on the list, so cant do anything, sent email to complaints at myhermes, no response, parcel still sitting with them, customer service is disgusting, never use them again, by far the worst parcel company around

As always myHermes delivered my parcel damaged but this time it actually had a boot print on it where it had been stood on. When I answered the door he just said "Name?", pushed the device at me for a signature and then walked off.

If I could go lower than 1star I would Absolutely terrible service!!!! Parcel lost in transit and contacting customer service is a nightmare. They keep disconnecting your chats...SO RUDE!!!! I've had the refund the customer and I am now the one out-of-pocket, even though they're the ones who lost the parcel! This is shocking! Robbing people!!! DO NOT USE EVER!!!! MY HERMES=LIARS and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

The worst courier service ever do not use this company I think its legal robbery 2 parcels I have lost because of this company I'm actually getting in touch with trading standards now because this company is just ripping people off

The worst customer service and courier. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. To deal with the issue like missing parcels you have to be patient and allocate many hours of your your time and be prepared to be cut off very few times whilst talking to them. They advert should has been less misleading and it would say “ we are the best in missing parcels “

If I could give them zero stars that would be generous. I had a parcel which they maintained they had attempted to be deliver on 3 separate days. We never saw a courier at any of the times they claimed to be near the house. I rang my retailer who said they'd been in touch with an address issue. I think their issue was that they couldn't be bothered to read it properly or drive out that far...but giving them the benefit of the doubt I spoke to Hermes via their chat online to give a phone number if they were lost so that they could be talked in (after the phone line for recipients failing to recognise my tracking details but recognising it on the retailer line). Two parcels arrived that afternoon on the doorstep silently...that's impressive up a gravel drive with a dog on the other side of the door! Next parcel is currently still missing. Hermes are apparently now also magicians. My parcel shows on the tracking as having been posted through my letterbox. I bought a pair of trainers and 3 pairs of trousers. I've never seen a shoe box make it through a letterbox! That dispute continues and in the meantime I'm short Christmas presents... Terrible service. Consistently bad and I'd urge retailers to never use them because they tarnish perfectly good companies' reputations with their shoddy service

I wouldn't even give them one star!! Contacted the chat lone - waited nearly 7 minutes...They say that the parcel has been delivered and signed for...difficult as no-one was at home. When I asked them to investigate they said I had to contact the retailer...I told them that their courier had obviously misinformed them ( I'm being polite and not calling him a liar) and that had nothing to do with the retailer. Got no where. Another parcel I'm expecting has been in their hub for three days and tracking not updated...so unlikely to get that either...guess what..I have to contact the retailer...but it's in your hub I said...he cut me off!!!!

Zero stars for customer service. Everything is ok as long as there are no problems. Unfortunately if things go wrong you have no hope, as there customer service is appalling. Every customer service rep just gives stock answers off the same set of answers, and nothing is ever accomplished. Tracking hadn’t been updated on a parcel since dropping off, was emailed saying the parcel size was wrong during an audit, so had to pay extra postage and an admin charge. But despite all this service rep can only say it got lost at the parcel shop??????? Absolute rubbish and lies
