If I could put - five star it would not be low enough, my parcel was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, we checked their site, which stated that we weren’t in so the parcel went back to the depot to be delivered the next day, stayed in all day no parcel, checked their site, said they had left it in a safe place, we checked with the neighbors if any of them had a package for us none of them had, there was no parcel to be found anywhere, checked the cctv, no one had been on either day. The conclusion we came to was that it must have been the delivery driver.

they nearly always seem to just dump the parcel on the doorstep without checking to see if anyone is in, and on the last farcical delivery from them, they actually claimed to have called but found no-one in - but someone was at home all that day. they then claimed they couldn't deliver the (small) package for two days because it was too big! Useless.

Failed to deliver a package again. God knows what state it will be in when it gets returned, unless they lose it of course. Never again.

It’s one of the worst courier company that I’ve ever used... When the person is not available at home the drivers allowed to leave the parcels in the front of the doors just by the main road or by the rubbish bin or even inside the bin etc....

By far the worst delivery company in the UK. Customer service is rude and absolutely useless. Instead of helping to solve the query, advisor (Manoj Thorat) just said sorry can't help and closed the chat. Infuriating experience. I understand why they don't have support over the phone, They'd just be constantly shouted at...

I have used myhermes for pickups for quite a while and the same person calls when expected, no problems.

My delivery contained a solid cut glass decanter. However when received from Hermes it was a broken glass decanter. The item was well wrapped from the supplier and the box packed with foam chips, so the box must have been dropped or kicked around. On contacting Hermes to explain what I'd received I was told there was no responsibility on behalf of Hermes and that it was my bad luck that the item had arrived in the condition. Disgusting attitude.

Had not at home card left in letterbox, after checking my trace your package it estimated delivery attempt at 17:05hrs. At this time their would have been 3 mpersons in the house + a barking dog therefore trace your package time would be incorrect. Package would be delivered next working day. On the next working day at @ 11:45hrs whilst working in my garage apparently delivery attempted was made again, despite being in the garage which I have a driveway with a see through fence and a doorbell I was left another “Sorry we missed you” card in the letterbox. As an end terrace house with runway & garage if the had the inclination to look at free standing garage doors fully open, he would notice someone their as this time their were 2 people in house/garage. Not impressed with contracted delivery although I am aware this has nothing to do with the Company ordered from, come on Hermes! Do you know what time of year it is

I have ordered few items from Holland & Barrett and I have been for ages waiting to receive them. The company Hermes was in charge for the delivery, what is astonished that the delivery man decided to keep the items and sign on my behalf the parcel, as it was potentially received. I had to fight back to Holland & Barrett to prove that the signature made on the parcel was not mine. I have never received an apologies from Hermes. It is a criminal offence to steal the items of customers.

They steal your parcels most of the time. I was at home all day and received a message stating that my parcel has been delivered at 16.15 in my letterbox. They didn't ring the doorbell and the funny part is I had ordered a pair of shoes. So they sneaked a box through the letterbox? What a joke! I even went out and opened the door at 16.15 as soon as I got the message and there was no one outside. I think the delivery guys are scumbags. Apparently, the delivery guys are self-employed and are on contract with this company. More or less like Uber. Disgusting!

Extremely upset. Paid to post my parcel and went all the way to the shop only to be told that my hermes system is down so you cannot post the parcel. Was not alloweed to leave the parcel there so only option is to 'wait and see' if they bother to fix the problem but could take weeks and the parcel has to be posted today. Had they bothered to tell me in advance that their system was messed up then I would have posted with a different company, or picked the collection option. They would not offer to collect the parcel and told me I have to go all the way to the next town to see if their system is up to post it. I don't drive so can't get there, appalling advice and customer service, who could not provide a resolution but were happy to take my money from my bank account anyway despite not being able to provide the service. I am now left to try and find my own resolution to get this parcel to its destination whether by hermes or some other means.

Purchased something from an online retailer that was to be delivered by Hermes. The items sent were in 2 batches on different dates. For the first parcel it took Hermes over a week to deliver, stating on their "online tracking" (what a joke that is!) that they were "querying delivery address". I live on a main road in London. In this day & age of Satnavs and Google Maps how this can be the case I really do not know. Eventually, after several calls to my original retailer to complain on my behalf as I was getting nowhere with Hermes customer services, package number 1 did eventually get delivered ..... to my neighbour! Package number 2 failed to arrive at all. At this point phoned my retailer who have sent a replacement. 5 days after the replacement was sent, guess what? It's failed to arrive ..... again! The "joke of a tracking system" says due for delivery today. Do Hermes staff need "special training" to be this thick, or does it just happen naturally? Retailers, if you value your customers & return business, avoid Hermes like the plague. I've dealt with numerous couriers over the years. Hermes if by far the worst I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with

AWFUL!! keep delivering our parcel to the wrong address, despite being contacted! You can't discuss it with anyone by phone and if you use live chat they just tell you to contact your retailer and then ignore you. DIABOLICAL and SHAMBOLIC! Use some one else, this company don't have a clue.

Disgusting, please never use. They will loose your parcel and won't help you. Basically there's no one to help you, all is automatic either phone or live chat. Don't waste you money, rather pay £20 more and use royal mail.

I've been using MyHermes for a few years now. I was surprised to see on the site that I have sent 155 packages with them. I have never had a problem. Not once (except when they charged me a fiver or something for going just a little bit over weight which was pretty annoying). But they are great, and you don't have to pay extra for tracking the way you do with Royal mail. You can see it all there online of you want to.

This company is such a joke. I would never use it but the item I ordered uses them. I saw the guy delivering it so I went outside and he said “It’s in the shed” looked in the shed and he has chucked it in the recycling on the food.

Never had any faith in this company after problems in the past. But have got caught out again. Taking my money for a ticket to get my parcel collected. Then forgot about. You try get your money back from this company. The last company I wrote about was City Link. Lets hope this company goes the same way
