OMG how can companies like this be allowed to continue . If you look hard enough you will find a phone number , BUT when you call them its all automated and when you managed to track the parcel it tells you what you already know from the online sytem , so thats usless for a start, then they offer the online chat or email ,the online help message says : You are in 231 position in our queue, expected wait time is 669 second(s). so again not very helpfull . i have emailed these muppets and its been 3 days wirh no reply . the systemsays the parcel has been deliverd but my client has not received it . SO WHAT AM I SUPPOSED DO . £2.79 may seem cheap but this can work out costly in the long run , pay peanuts and you get you know what . You have been warned . A rubbish comany

Had an email to say my parcel would be delivered between 12 and 4 so I waited in. Got another email to say that it had been attempted to be delivered at 1.30.. it hadn’t! Said it would be redelivered next day. Fortunately I was home when I heard a rustling of the letterbox so ran to the door as the courier was about to walk about with a really tiny package that would have easily fit. She muttered that I had a parcel. She hadn’t even knocked on and was walking away with it! She threw it at me and I asked if I needed a signature and she said no. I then received an email saying it had been delivered and the signature had been forged on it. Very shady, seedy and unreliable company. I tried to email the company. They are extremely hard to get in touch with.

If there was the option to leave 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Told me my delivery had been successful and that I had signed for it at 13:41?!?!? WRONG!!!! I was at work from 0700hrs and did not get home till 1700hrs. the only way I found out about it was because they sent a conformation email. which when I looked at the tracking & signature I knew there was something fishy going on. Not my signature so its clearly been forged, Gawd knows where the parcel is. Only way to contact them is by a chat system, which is less than useless. Contact you in 24hrs they said. 24 hrs later and I'm still waiting............Spoke to them again, same response!!! Shocking customer service and when they can't or won't answer your questions they disconnect the chat facility!

Unreliable company so disappointing! I have spent a fortune on my parcels and they haven't delivered them when I paid next day delivery, now I won't receive my clothes as I live abroad, it's so frustrating!!!!!

I waited all the afternoon for delivery then I received a email saying nobody was in that is untrue I even turned off tv and radio and watching the door from my window as I can see it.Not very happy another lie probably not bothering them very angry.

Appalling service, delivered today at 11.22am to a secure place!!!! Not my home address even though I was at home and after 2 live charts sent a photo of a parcel but could be anywhere then a email to say resolved. Now 9.05pm and still no idea where my parcel is not even a card through the door to say where it has been left, so after staying in all day no parcel and absolutely no help from Hermes at all. Your courier who delivered my parcel needs training, I've eventually got a photo of where it is !!!! Could be anywhere but certainly not delivered to the correct address -.shocking customer service start to finish

I received an email on Monday 19 November 2018 my package was 'left in outbuilding'. As I was in at the time, have no open outbuilding and a 6ft fence to climb over knew it to be delivered to a different address. I contacted Hermes live chat minutes after receiving the email on Monday 19 November 2018. The lack of help was astonishing. This continued every day with the same excuse given - wait 24hrs, wait 28 hrs or wait 72 hrs based on whom I was speaking with were the best responses. I find it absolutely astonishing that a customer reports a missing package on Monday 19 November 2018, 5 days later Hermes confirms to myself they have YET still not even spoken to the courier to ask about the whereabouts of the package. Where is the security concern of customers packages? Couriers should be asked about missing packages the same or next day and not allowed to continue until their report is given – this should be basic policy. Any new customers thinking of using Hermes their great if your package arrives but expect no help if it goes missing.

Over the last year and a half we have had multiple orders from various different companies which were supposed to be delivered by Hermes (I would say about once a month on average). We have had problems in about 80% of the cases. Multiple packages have never been delivered and twice packages have been damaged. The rest had to be chased several times as the tracking kept showing that the driver was "unable to locate the address" and the deliveries kept getting returned to the depot. Customer service is appalling. It is now impossible to speak to a real person. The customer service number does nothing but repeat the same information which is available via tracking and does not give you the option to speak to someone. To resolve anything, the only option is to use their online chat feature where you have to wait in a queue for 20 minutes and frequently get cut off. My heart sinks every time we order something from a company and we get an email to say that it will be delivered by Hermes. They are, without a doubt, the worst delivery company we have ever had to deal with by a long, long way.

I was waiting for a small delivery which did not arrive I tracked it repeatedly and was always told that they had it and were processing it a still saying a variety of feeble excuses eventually i was told that it was not delivered because of a security issue I kept enquiring what was the issue they refused to tell me and returned the parcel to the sender totally preposterous reason

Worst of them all. I sit the whole day waiting for a package and suddenly I receive an email that “delivery attempt was made”... Nobody has knocked at my door 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ The worst of all... !!!

I have had/have lots of deliveries from Hermes and I think the current man is lovely, he is always cheerful and helpful. I have a dog and because I fear she will run out into the road I come round to the front door from my back garden, obviously this means the delivery man has to wait longer than if I opened the front door immediately, he NEVER complains and is cheerfully understanding. Thank you for a great service.

Extremely bad service. Why are they still here? They make it very difficult to speak to someone real. Chatting to them through email is probably the best bet! And yet it takes days. My big issue with the company? myHermes continued to lie to me about what happened to my parcel. It's a disgusting, untrustworthy company that is still being used by so many retailers, and customers..and from the reviews and my experience it looks like its a common situation where they are potentially stealing packages and lying to customers.. or just employing morons. I hope they'll be investigated by watchdog, that way it'll be broadcasted on tv and investigated by professionals. They should not be able to get away with this.

Used Hermes for a simple Ebay collection, they failed to collect on 2 booked appointments. Tracking just says address query....not like it's hard to find with sat nav nowadays, I can plainly see the street on an ordnance map & even all the house numbers. Don't touch them with a barge pole, absolutely useless!!

On the card it said he will call back the following Monday but he did not. I have spent three and a half hours today trying to sort this out. All I had was automated messages and could not actually speak to anybody. I used the live chat facility and was cut off four times. Eventually I was given a tracking number and news that my parcel was delivered and signed for at no. 55. I am no. 59. I checked with my neighbour but he hasn't accepted a parcel on my behalf and neither did any neighbour for that matter. I went back on the live chat again for the fifth time and still have not had the issue resolved. All the call centre staff can say is "I am sorry". If I ever purchase anything at all from a retailer and I discover that they are using Hermes as the delivery company there is no way I will order from that retailer. I think if everybody boycotted them they would have to pull their finger out. The service is appalling. I never ever have this problem with Amazon, DPD or Royal Mail deliveries. Hermes....you are a joke!

Online support very helpful with a delivery query that arose on a recent order. Issue was fixed and product was still delivered before the original delivery date which was excellent.

I send a good number of parcels via Hermes but recently they seem to be incapable of delivering on what they’re supposed to be doing, for me the worst aspect is the lack of opportunity to contact someone to help. After twice contacting Complaints ( not easy to find that address ) the operatives have claimed they tried to call me on my mobile - well as we all know if you call a mobile a missed call is registered and I have had none. So in a bad situation why make it worse by lying, I am moving my business elsewhere this company doesn’t deserve it

This is the 4th time I have issues with them. One they took a month and a half to deliver a parcel that I paid to be delivered in 3 days. One they damaged the parcel and destroied it. Because it had tubes of oil paint they refused to refund although the rest was full of watercolour paper. Another one was for abroad and they took forever to deliver and after talking to them for a month every day they finally delivered it. And this last occurance. Was supposed to get a parcel and yet again they manage to loose it. How can you loose a parcel? Holes one the trucks? Or selective picking? Not to be trusted at all!
