If it was to rate 0 stars, I would definitely do that. The service is absolutely disgusting and customer service is of the sam bad quality. I had troubles with delivery of the parcel, they said it was delivered and signed for, but when I reached home there was nothing in post, no sign of delivery or note of it. When phoning, I couldn't get through to them as I ordered through a retailer so they automatically disconnect you once you phone and enter your order tracking number and they can identify you ordered something from an external provider. Had to go through a lot of emails and phone calls and eventually after a few days the parcel re-appeared "by miracle" with no further explanation...I emailed them again to ask the reason and what had actually happened and nothing...I don't actually understand how this company is still in service, maybe because they are cheap, as their service, absolutely deplorable.

Failed to collect package, then said I had cancelled the collection, then said it couldnt be rearranged etc etc. Spent 4 hours working through their chat system, you cant speak to anybody...lost the will to live. They generally dont make their delivery dates, you need to live with that if you use them, which I have in the past, but trying to deal with their customer service process makes it a service never to use again.

Fraudsters! Avoid. They forge signatures and steal packages or deliver to wherever they want and offer someone else's signature as 'proof' of delivery to YOU to YOUR address. No idea where my package is, lost money and they won't even investigate other than state 'computer says no'. Total lack of professional conduct...utterly useless fraudsters. Should not be allowed to trade in the UK!!!

They are untrustworthy scum. I complained about a driver throwing parcels over my back gate, so he arrived one evening giving me abuse. Then parcels stopped arriving. They tell the sellars I refused delivery. Ive complained to their head office and they don't care. Fraudsters avoid!!!!

I received an email from top shop to advise that my parcel would be delivered by Hermes on 3rd December. This morning (2nd december) I received an email from Hermes to inform me that my parcel will be delivered today between 11am and 3pm: however despite being at home, I discovered my parcel on my doorstep at 10am. I don't have a problem with my parcel being delivered early. My concern is this; the courier did not knock to deliver my parcel and it was not left in a safe place - my road is frequented by cars and pedestrians and my parcel was left in full view. I feel there is a very strong possibility that my parcel could have gone missing and I'm sure the onus would have been on me to prove that it hadn't been delivered safely. I do not believe this is a good service.

Worst service. More than 48 hours waiting for my delivery and they lie telling that they attempted to delivery the parcel. there is not a customer service and the live chat is always busy and disconnecting. Don’t use it!

Would be no stars if allowed. First experience of using them I had an email saying my parcel had been delivered through the letterbox, but knew there was no chance of it fitting through a letterbox. They are impossible to get hold of, but whenI eventually did they said I had to contact the retailer for help. Fortunately the retailer were much more helpful and offered to send a replacement. No idea where my original parcel went. So when I placed an order with a different retailer last week and had confirmation that Hermes would be delivering i knew it wouldn't go well. They were supposed to deliver on Tuesday, but on Monday I had a call from the courier who was outside my house. He agreed to return on Friday morning. Yey on Wednesday I received an attempted delivery message, but no card was left. Stayed in all day on Friday trying every way possible to contact Hermes but getting nowhere. They even ended my online chats as I got to the end of the queue. Absolutely shocking service from start to end. I will never use again, but first need to find my parcel...

New driver for Mayfair area was very verbally abusive when confronted that he has delivered to the wrong person even though, he has been told where to deliver(office s).

10 days and all the tracking says is tried to deliver each day? Address is a business open 7 days a week full of staff all day long. Contacted Hermes 3 times and received a stupid answer irrelevant to my queery each time.

This company is a joke they don't even know how to deliver a parcel. They lost my parcel and with all the possibilities they just stole the contents and I wouldn't be surprised of this. Incompetent, unprofessional, useless company

I booked a courier collection from manchester to my home address i did this giving 3 days before the collection was due .The collection was for saturday and the seller waited in from 0800 till 2000 for the courier to collect the parcel alas no one turned up all we got was a automated email saying the collection will be made next day which was sunday and hermes dont collect sundays really not acceptable to me or the person who wasted a day waiting for them will not use again

for a while now Hermes sends the same Delivery man to our area, which is a big plus for all of us. Royal Mail keeps changing now postmen and they do not know us. Anyways Service is excellent. A very caring man who know us well and gives our parcels to the right neighbours if we are not in. I have given a good tip for his service and hope he will be with us for a long time. Thank you Hermes

After claiming for a non delivered parcel (apparently delivered to an outhouse - the recipient lives in a flat!) the claim was rejected because as a camera lens it includes glass - which is excluded from compensation. They may be cheap, but they are not cheerful, avoid!.

Hermes came to deliver 2 parcels to my house and as i wasnt in he left a small parcel with my neighbour but for some unknown reason he put the large parcel containing a folding bed and mattress at the front of my house (he didnt mention this second parcel to my neighbour)Apart from the fact it was left in a place that was in full view of anyone walking past my house and therefore NOT a secure place, It rained heavily before i came home and the packaging and the folding bed and mattress are soaking wet. The bed is ruined and therefore i have to send it back. If I could stop companies that use Hermes to deliver my goods I would do.

Lost the parcel, sent picture showing delivery, to my advantage it shows a completely different house , proof of non delivery to accepted address yet after countless hours they can’t be bothered. Then ask me to send about ten pieces of information to make a claim. WHAT A JOKE
