They don’t even attempt to deliver with 8+ people at home, they just send a stupid email claiming they’ve attempted which is an outright lie & it’s happened on MULTIPLE occasions. This company should close down.

Appalling customer service. Booked a collection for yesterday. Collection was confirmed, waited in all day and nothing. Not been an email telling me collection would be delayed. It’s now 4pm the following day and still nothing. You can’t speak to anyone as there is no tracking number until they pick it up. I’ve got four unanswered tweets and still nothing. They really don’t care about their customers. Avoid these aholes

Waiting for days for parcel stuck at sender's depot. . no movement on tracking for days. So refunded by seller . This is second parcel to be stolen ..whoops I ment misplaced in 2 months . . Useless company. Local courier is great though .

I was waiting for my delivery today from Hermes courier. Four packages. I’m a disabled person and I sit by my front room first floor window with the blinds open. Well what did I see. The Hermes courier throwing some parcels up the stairway of my neighbour some 12 steps . I thought that’s careless of him to treat peoples propertie like that. Then immediately he threw them back down into his wheelie basket. It clicked to me this wasn’t a delivery for my neighbour but for me . A minute later he rang my doorbell. When I answered the door I was really not happy about the way he handled my property. I explained to him that I had seen him throwing the packages about when he even got the address wrong the first time . He just looked at me like I was from another planet and said muttered in a whisper. I asked him if he needed a signature, which drew another blank . Not a word of English could he speak no thank you or anything. I even thanked for the delivery with no reply from him . Which really he didn’t deserve. I can understand people need work. I can understand poor English. But not a word is appalling service not to be able to say thank you . And the disrespectful way he handled my property it just makes him short of a Neanderthal. Just when I thought Hermes couldn’t possibly provide worse service. Yep they can !

A totally useless bunch of f wits I wouldn’t put this lot in charge of a good case of piles! 7 attempted delivery’s Even though instructions left as to where to leave the item . 3 times they even tried to deliver it to the wrong street. I never did get the item!!!!🤬

Damaged, thrown over walls, never delivered and delivered to houses over 10 miles away! Are just some of the ways Hermes “delivers” parcels. There customer service is non existent. The drivers just don’t care, probably because from what I’ve read Hermes is a horrible company to work for. Just use Royal Mail to deliver parcels if you want them to actually arrive.

My parcel was lost in December, was only partially refunded after a long hard struggle 2 months later. So I called customer services to complain, as on Hermes website it says “call our friendly customer services”. Customer services rep, Christine (ex 2602) was extremely rude, actually belched down the phone, laughed, talked over me then hung up on me. I obviously want to put in a very strong complaint, but to do this, I have to call belching Christine.

Delivery was going to be 22/02/2022, got a message saying attempted delivery no one home. I was home and my ring door did not pick up the delivery person, must have been in stealth mode. What a joke this company is, and Amazon use them to deliver.

Ordered a parcel from JD got standard delivery as it was free. Will never order again from anyone who use hermes to deliver. I was in the lounge giving my son a feed heard no knock at all. A few minutes later after finishing his feed I checked my phone to see where this delivery was. I seen the picture of the parcel on the doorstep. I quickly went to retrieve it. I had checked everywhere and asked the neighbours I found nothing at all. Clearly the driver never dropped the parcel off and had taken it for himself instead. Wouldn't be the first time this happened with hermes anyway. So I've tried ringing but it's an automated service. Tried contacting online through the chat but it has limited options and no way of freely putting what you would like. Another thing I never got was how the door step was a safe place when everyone uses the alleyway at the back and you could see into my garden. But no doubt the delivery driver (Stuart) has taken it. Never heard no knock at all. Asked my neighbour who is my husband's aunty and she said she never heard anyone as we share a garden. Then the customer service Thomas keeps calling me Ali when that's not my name.

I have only given them 1 star as not possible to give less! Customer service is non existent if you have a problem it is not possible to talk to a human and the computer system just sends you in ever decreasing circles and then says no! I am going to use Royal mail in the future as roughly the same price but no tracking whereas Hermes Tracking is currently non existent in Portsmouth anyway as when the courier collects from the parcel store he scans incorrectly and the item shows ad delivered!! then mails are sent to all my customers saying its delivered - they are then all messaging me complaining and wanting to know where their package is! And absolutely nobody to talk to even the parcel store do not understand training is non existent!

They never collected my parcel, and constantly sent responses to queries as ' we are waiting for your parcel and will update then'. In short: they took the money and did nothing. A terrible terrible company who should not be used by anyone.

I shipped a package (H0067A0050578483) through Hermes containing item worth 284 pounds. It's disappointing that as per online update the package is at the National sorting hub since 8th Feb. Request you to take appropriate action to ensure delivery of the item or refund me the money at the earliest. It's my hard earned money which I should NOT be losing due to the negligence of Hermes.

Sending a parcel with your 'print in store' feature .. absolute nightmare. If you require the print in store service, you need a qr code, which isn't provided by yourselves without having to phone your customer service. It's really not very efficient and would save a lot of people's time if you issue the qr code along side postage labels.

drivers lie about trying to deliver but nobody in been waiting 5 days for a parcel and nobody has been yet although i get e mails saying driver has tried to deliver absolute rubbish i will never use this company and god knows why other people still do

Hermes destroyed my parcel and are refusing to provide compensation for doing so. They claim that the the parcel was damaged beyond repair. If so, it was by them, hence they must compensate. This is unlikely as the contents were toiletries/confectionary. Much more likely Hermes operatives eat the confectionary intended for my 91 year old Dad who has advanced dementia, and stole the toiletries. Avoid like the plague. They are criminals.

Absolutely disgraceful courier service!! Never delivers on time, or state there’s been a problem with delivering etc.. trying to speak to anyone is impossible! I along with every other review complaining about almost all the same problems! Surly the retailers using Hermes need to cease using with immediate affect! As they can’t uphold a decent delivery service which only will cause the retailers more complaints! WARNING TO RETAILERS STOP USING HERMES WHO CANT MEET YOUR CUSTOMERS NEEDS! It’s cruel to the customers who maybe ordering a gift for a birthday or other life event gift to potentially not receive on time!! If you don’t use they will go bust which is the best thing to happen to this awful company!!
