Absolutely horrific company that should be shut down. Lose parcels all the time and massive delays. No customer service representatives to speak to, just robots. Worst courier company in the UK.

DONOT use this company.4 parcels in 2 months have gone missing. You can't speak to anyone except an automated service called Holly.Holly will only give the same information as you can get on the tracking service. This is infuriating and is done due to the horrendous amount of complaints. I really would advise everyone with a similar issue to contact Trading Standards.I am in the process of doing this as they seem to think they can get away with it.

I was given an incident number after contacting them via their site when a parcel I was returning had been stuck at their depot for ages. Was told I would hear from them within 28 days - nothing! Cannnot contact them any which way now, everything seems to he designed to prevent you being able to get through to them. Am absolutely furious, they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this. Trading standards here I come! Will not trust this company again. Beware!

Completely unreliable. Lost or delayed parcel/delivery. Never on time always delayed or some sort of issues everytime. I've lost faith in them. 1 star is still too much.

What a load of rubbish.. they said they couldn't find my work address and so took my parcel back.. i now have to find the money to go and buy the items (ordered for a Present) and then wait until my refund is processed... absolutely pants... i will never recommend Hermes to anyone, even if i don't like them!

Every delivery has a similar issue. Every parcel most likely arrived days late, or not at all, never having a valid reason or excuse. It’s insane that so many businesses still use them.

Never ever use again! I have seen in the media the amount of bad things that go on in the company if you could call it that! Dumping people's parcels, stealing peoples parcels, burning over the woods! It's like the time you took my parcel to a completely different addres and did not even tell me its only because the person was honest and brought it to me over wise I would have never of known, who you meant to contact wen things go wrong the robot lol,or get ripped off for 6 quid then talk to staff who do not have a clue!

Ordered a Mountain bike from go outdoors, Hermes were the ones delivering it to my work, that didn't fill me with confidence about the condition my bike would be in if it ever turned up. Once it did, the box was damaged, one corner was completely mashed. Obviously just been chucked on the van and stuff chucked on top of it. Tried contacting their customer service for them to basically tell me 'it is what it is, take up with go outdoors' fuming to say the least. Now when hermes are delivering anything to me i will happily pay more for a different courier 0/10 for delivery and handling of items 0/10 for customer service. Avoid at all costs!

As usual driver lies and says I'm not home, even though I've waited in all day for him, this is a constant issue, hermes are a joke of a company, I have issues with nearly every delivery

I do not recommend using Hermes. Day four now and they still have not picked up my parcel . IV no idea when they will be collecting and they have no way of talking to them unless you want to pay £6+ to contact them . The automated rubbish they use is useless and can't cope with the questions. Just don't waste your time with Hermes. UPS are so much better and more reliable .

Hermis impossible to speak to any one no numbers to phone got tracking number still cannot track when I did get a numer for them it was kings Weston avonmouth depot says open 24hours ring them no answer they should not be aloud to trade

I've had several issues with Hermes when ordering online for delivery. Today they delivered a £130 order to completely the wrong address and I'm still waiting for delivery of a birthday present I ordered for my other half in plenty of time for her birthday, which was well over a week ago. I don't know why it hasn't been delivered as they have my correct name and address details? I've had a failed delivery from them in the past, which consisted of a photo of my parcel taken on the garden of some random detached house which was god knows where (I live in a flat - my address even states "Flat 5" in the first line of its address ffs) with the message "No-one was in to take delivery". There were two cars on the driveway in the photo, so I'm assuming someone had to be in. Tried to contact them via their website (no phone number unsurprisingly). When I used the chat I was faced with automated responses, which were of no help whatsoever. They were no doubt getting inundated with calls from irate customers, which has led to them to remove all human contact with their customers. Totally incompetent, their service is a joke.

Given a time slot of between 13.30pm & 15.30 pm by Hermes , waited in all afternoon no delivery .The following day checked my e-mail to see if the date & time slot had been updated but of course it hadn't. Tried to speak to someone but could only get through to the automated voice who told me that the delivery would be between 13.30pm & 15.30pm on the original delivery date. Three days on & still being given the original delivery date & time slot. Can Hermes drivers travel back in time!!! i'm expecting the driver ( if he does turn up) to arrive on a hover board. This is not the first or even the second time i have had problems with this Hermes. I don't know why big companies like Cotton Traders use them. WHY CAN'T YOU SPEAK TO A HUMAN AT HERMES & WHY IS IT NEVER THEIR FAULT , THEY NEED TO TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILTY WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THEY ARE AT FAULT. I have give Hermes 1 star & thats being generous.

Sent a parcel never arrived , finally after 4 days got a response,the item was a griddle pan, for £50,I'm a pensioner and they only paid me £20 ,as I didn't take extra insurance out ,I'm now £30 down , do to incompetent staff who have misplaced / stolen or whatever with this parcel ,and it's cost me alot of money ,so next week when the boss is sitting in is ivory tower,I'll be eating less food due to this cash shortfall

Hermes have stolen my delivery!! Hermes are thieves and you shouldn’t use them. They don’t update and are disgusting!

The parcel was left in an unsafe place and when I returned home the parcel was missing. I will never use Hermes and I will never buy anything again from a retailer using Hermes as a courier. This is the second time this is happened. Their customer service is terrible. It is almost impossible to speak to a human and then all they want you to do is sort out the problem yourself with the retailer.
