so we all know Hermes is rubbish , and now they steal parcels with proof , here is an image of a driver sending a proof image of delivery and yet our parcels are yellow bags , so not sure what he is showing . Now i have the ball ache of going through boring paper to claim my money back

Absolutely horrendous, didn’t put parcel in safe place, didn’t knock the door, I took a whole day off waiting for this parcel. Just said sorry we missed you!

Posted parcel just over a month ago. Shows on tracking as still active and 'We've got it'. No available options to query this. No options for checking out 'stuck' parcels not progressing. The AI 'Chat' takes you around in a circle - still no options for a parcel which hasnt progressed. No number on the website. Then an ebay case is raised against me that he parcel wasnt delivered. Somehow I managed to find a number from Hermes who state the parcel is lost but that I cannot claim for it as you have to REPORT IT MISSING WITHIN 28 DAYS OF POSTING it - even if you are not aware that it is in fact missing because the Hermes website still shows it as active. Apparently these rules are stated in ther T&C's but she couldnt find these on the website and nor could I. In fact no where on their website does it state these rules. So beware of this when deciding on a courer - the insurance cover they provide is neigh on impossible to access due to extremely restrictive rules which they dont tell you about. However to help you jjumping through online hoops to find it here is the Hermes phone number for any issues - 0330 808 5456. Maybe its best to report all parcels missing once posted just to ensure you meet with their hidden rules.

Totally dire. The same Hermes delivery driver, a young woman with long straight dark hair, yet again dumped my parcel on the doorstep (London SE24) available for any passer by to take - which is precisely what happened last month. I managed to chase after her tonight and she couldn't have given a damn. A totally disgusting dodgy bunch of charlatans.

Hermes up to their usual trick! Give you a 2 hour delivery slot so you put yourself out to be at home. Hermes don’t turn up and then several hours later they send an email saying they couldn’t deliver because you weren’t in!!!

Sent parcel to Italy on 16.12.21. On 11.01.22 tried for several hours to find a tel no or email. Nope. After a stressful few hours getting nowhere, I was eventually able to send a complaint that the parcel had NOT arrived. I received an email ('no reply' of course) to say they would investigate and contact me with a progress report. TODAY 25.01.22 I have heard absolutely nothing! The parcel has still not arrived. Over FIVE weeks and nothing. They have fobbed me off. How can it take 14 days to investigate?????? They are not investigating at all, they are hoping I will go away through sheer frustration. Will someone please teach this company a lesson and take them to court big time. The government should step in and place sanctions on them. Please, please, please do NOT use Hermes if you wish to keep your sanity. It makes my blood BOIL!! You can never get a resolution. You will only end up out of pocket with high blood pressure. These people to have a 'class action' bought against them. They have no conscience.

Utter garbage... I have used them twice for international deliveries and they have failed on both occasions.. Difficult to speak to anyone and they they just lie, or fob you off... Use them at your peril...

They are theives, untrustworthy, careless customer services, no phone to call, email only , lost 2 parcels , 1 my daughter cost £200 and me send a friend in uk cost lots of money content , disappear no 1 knows where is it , thieves , I will take them to court , I have all evidence , thieves

By far the worst delivery company I've ever seen in my life. I wonder how they are still in business as they don't bother delivering stuff. Being a delivery company, that's kind of a problem. I was home all the time they claimed they passed by my house. I was quarantining and was home all day, they simply didn't pass. In any case, when I'm not home my estate agency, which stays downstairs on the ground floor, always takes my parcels. They work 9am to 5.30pm. In fact I have never experienced issues with other delivery companies, that because there will always be somebody there. I honestly have no idea what they do with all these parcels. They are also impossible to contact. There is literally nothing good about this company. Hope they get out of business soon and leave space for companies that actually deliver stuff

One of the worse courier in UK if not the worst. I use this courier in amazon, alot parcels are damaged, lost or delayed not by few days but by 3 weeks and they dont even have a decent customert service in which you can call, they have some automated stupid replies that you can't communicate with. I woundn't recommend this courier at all

I stupidly trusted this company again after they previously lost a laptop I had ordered. I needed some medicine urgently that I left at a friends house and it has to stay chilled or goes off. Hermes claims they pick up everyday including Sunday (see link) so I paid extra for next day delivery and insurance as the medicine is £34. Despite my friend dropping it off by noon on Sunday (as recommended by Hermes) it never got picked up. It's now Monday and it still hasn't been picked up. No idea when it will get sent and it's now starting to go off and become useless and it's a nightmare to get as it's a private prescription and there's only one pharmacy in England that provides it. The critical thing to note is there is NO way to contact a human, either by chat, phone or email to find out what's going or claim insurance. The only option is the online chat service and that has caged responses to a very limited set of questions, I've tried to break out of it many times by saying "Other problem" but it never goes anywhere apart from more caged questions. The upshot being you can never chase anything, never complain and never claim. Don't just take my word for it read the other reviews including from business sellers who have the same problems and try the online chat for yourself. https://www.myhermes.co.uk/our-services/weekend-delivery

Parcel collected by nice courier but 6 days on parcel has stalled. Now9 days in with no movement so I refunded my buyer. As “customer services” does not actually exist I have no alternative but to contact Mr. deLange. CEO once again. What dreadful hoops Hermes insists on putting customers through in order not to take responsibility for its shoddy service. Why are they allowed to trade without a means of contacting them?

This company needs investigating. In the past month I’ve ordered from 5 different companies who shipped my items via Hermes. 4 have been declared ‘lost’ and only 1 got delivered, the 1 that did get delivered I paid for next day delivery and it came two weeks later.

I have spent hours trying to find a way to complain directly to myhermes about a serious issue with a delivery driver but it is impossible. Yesterday a driver from hermes kept banging on my door and window, this despite there being a huge sign on my door which said, “ISOLATING, PLEASE LEAVE ANY PARCELS IN MY HALL, MY DOOR IS UNLOCKED”. So eventually I had to go to the door, despite the fact that I am permanently on oxygen and am a dying woman, which is why I have to isolate. There stood a hermes delivery driver, without a mask, I pointed at the sign on the door and angrily asked, “can’t you read, are you illiterate?”. The driver got even closer to me, pushing his face near to mine, (I am unable to wear a mask) I told him to move back because I have a low immune system and he could give me any virus and kill me sooner than my health condition will. He then ran to his van with both of the parcels and drove away. He actually phoned his company and cancelled my delivery. I am furious but as I have no way to lodge a complaint with myhermes I will be forced to go to every news outlet that I can and publicly complain and let everyone know what happened. I hope myhermes go bankrupt

Two reviews originally put on wrong Hermes company which was a jewellery company, my reviews on Hermes the delivery company are as follows@ 1st review -Worst delivery company, cannot speak to a real person, when phoning just answering to automatic system which only takes you to tracking. They have had my parcel at local delivery depot since 23 Dec 2021 and the status has not changed as of today 4 Jan 2022. No way of knowing when I will ever receive it as cannot speak to anyone and their automatic system is no help at all. Have now emailed the sender to tell them Hermes cannot be contacted and no idea when I will ever get my parcel, most times when Hermes is delivering a parcel to me I have trouble with them. Worst ever company. Now 6th January and Hermes still not updated my tracking which they received at the local depot on 23rd December, still say we have it and will contact you when it is out for delivery. I reckon they have lost it. Have contacted sender twice now but they have not even got back to me. Trouble is when buying online customers do not know if Hermes will be the delivery company until it is too late. Hermes is uncontactable and it's service is so bad they should be legally closed down. It is today the 18th January 2022 and still no update on the status of my parcel which Hermes has had at its local hub since 23rd December 2021. Tried contacting Hampshire Trading Standard but they say it should first be reported to Citizens Advice, but none of their offices are open and remain shut until the pandemic is over, sent them an email but not hopeful I will get anywhere there, was hoping Trading Standards would at least be able to know how to contact Hermes local hub to find out what is happening and why they are not delivering. Disgusting, if they have lost the parcel which I expect they have, then they should at least let me know, but I expect they do not want to pay out any compensation. Disgusting, awful delivery company 2nd review - Disgusting Hermes, from 23rd December 2021 the local Hermes hub had my parcel and when it was last updated was 24th December 2021, it stated 'we have it and it is on its way, we will let you know when it is out for delivery'. I checked again yesterday 21st January 2022 and the status was still the same. I got an email this morning asking me to pay for a 'redelivery', when checking the status this morning it states it is being sent back to the sender. They state they tried delivering it on the 19th and 20th January 2022, but they are a load of liars, I was in both days all day and no delivery was attempted. First of all I thought I would pay what they wanted just to get it delivered even though they have NEVER tried to deliver it before, because I was in all day on the dates they said. But when I went in with the links they wanted to know all my personal details including my mother's maiden name, this I was not prepared to do so decided I was not going to provide all the details, as they have my address and it would be delivered to my address. I went into a shop in my High Street, which is part of a UK large chain of shops to ask them how I could contact Hermes as I could not contact them by phone, email or online chat which is a robot not a real person and they said they stopped using Hermes a long time ago because their service was so bad and unreliable and he told me Hermes is the worst delivery company and that is why they stopped using them, they now use Royal Mail or one of the more reliable delivery companies. Hermes are liars, unreliable with no customer services, they cannot be contacted if there is a problem, cannot be contacted by phone to speak to a real person, email address online is no longer used and the online chat is useless as it is a robot and once you put in the tracking number it just tells you what you can see for yourself when going into the tracking number. Companies please do not use Hermes as your customers will suffer

Absolutely hopeless - Time slot emailed to me after it has already started; time slot booked and then changed without warning; email saying attempted delivery but nobody in despite the house having 4 adults with ears and a dog - no way did anybody ring door-bell. This has happened 4 times for the latest delivery. Wasted time waiting in for Hermes and wasted time rebooking with retailer.

DRIVER TRIED TO RUN ME OVER AT CHRISTMAS WHEN HE WAS DELIVERING A PARCEL TO A NEIGHBOUR AND A ASKED HIM TO MOVE HIS CAR!! IT WAS PARKED SO A COULD NOT GET INTO MY GARAGE.TODAY I ARRAGED TO HAVE MY PARCEL SENT TO ANOTHER NEIGHBOUR. IT WAS RIPPED OPEN IT NEVER WENT TO MY NEIGHBOUR,SENT A PICTURE OF IT ON SOME SORT OF FLOOR.CANNOT SPEAK TO ANYBODY ON THE PHONE EVEN THE ROBOT HAS GONE ON STRIKE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
